Made reservation for vehicle at Somers point location got moved to a Harbor Township location Somers point had truck in stock I needed had to pick E up Friday before four which was fine to you Saturday somehow it got moved to egg Harbor Township who said they had a truck but in the long run someone didn't bring it back so there was not one there had to use a big box truck which was way too big for what I needed then the electric in the box truck did not work my plug-in into your truck was wires were broken then it had a hitch that had a ball on it and had a second hitch with nova which would not let my trailer go down over the ball so I had to go buy another ball to put in the other hole during all this time someone calls me from the Absecon office wants to know when I'm gonna pick my truck up up there which I didn't even know existed but it all added extra an extra and more extra miles on my day and I live in a tourist town where traffic during weekends it's awful so my day went absolutely awful from the start in the early morning being lectured by some lady who don't know what she's doing at the egg Harbor Township one about some sort of 12 and three when I come to your gate door and want to rent a truck I'm number one not three I don't get put on some thing to be bounced around all over if you're going to have customers don't put them in tears 12 and three because that makes them feel enact adequate there of been a very important customer all customers are important so I've had the worst deal that cost me a lot of money and how to drive an extra 2016 to 20 miles around to get yes it was an awful experience all the way around and I will be calling Monday morning to talk to somebodyMichael E.

I was provided a filthy cargo van that took me 2 hours to clean. I was repeatedly told that I would get a weekly rate and/or a discount that would be applied upon return of the van. I was never given any discount and it was obvious that was just false information so that I would believe my bill would be less and I would rent for a longer period of time.Linda C.

The only reason I rated this Above Average and not excellent is because of 1 Supervisor, Joe....... He made things a little bit of a problem with invoices and payment. Although we were VERY disappointed with having to drive 45 miles to pick up our UHaul it ended ip working out ok. Uhaul worked with us on the miles and the gentleman (I believe his name was David) had EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE He was a new employee with uhaul and was VERY pleasant and he knew his stuff.Karen B.

I had a horrible experience with the Uhaul in Colmar, PA. Eht helped to rectify Colmars mistake. The agent over the phone was of no help either. If it wasn't fr Eht crew, I wouldn't ever use Uhaul ever again and would suggest my family and friends to do the same.Gary G.

1. Truck had Oil stains on truck floor. Uhaul should offer a cover so not to contaminate customer's boxes. 2. Locks sold did not fit the truck locking mechanism. 3. Destinaction site was closed early. Uhaul should've explained this to help us make better decision on where to drop off.wilfred V.

The location was great but the online rental process was inefficient, specifically having to prove additional identity after checking in at the location. In addition to my license and credit card it required two references that are called, or a passport (who carries around their passport if they have a license?). The process took 30 minutes and took away from my reservation period.Daniel D.

We arrived at the location at 7am for our pickup to check in via phone only to find out you couldn't check in on the app or phone so we had to wait until the employee arrived at 9 am to take care of us. We weren't the only ones, there was another couple with the same issue only their rental was for 6am. So ridiculous this should of never happened. Don't offer something that doesn't work and you don't have a number to call outside of hours when people are trying to pick up their trucks. It put us 2.5 hours behind scheduleCharles A.

This is the best Uhaul rental place ever! The general manager is very experienced and helpful, place is always clean and vehicles are always ready to go. I made my appointment at 9am and by 9:45an my vehicle was ready for pick up. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family anytime!!!Raj Z.

I completed the online form to rent a Dolly. When I arrived, there was a computer problem. Employee had to erase my online form and start all over taking my information manually as if I was a "Walk in" customer. I was delayed from my trip for 20 - 30 minutes. When I returned it, the return procedure online would not accept my return. It was not clear where the BARCODE to be scanned was located. I made 4 attempts and could not complete the return process. I called and waited on hold for 41 Minutes until someone picked up the phone. The next morning, I had to call to verify they got my return equipment. I called 5 times with no answer. Someone picked up on my 6th call and verified my return.Robert G.

I birdied the unit amd returned it.. I filled the gas tank to its full caisviry. I was not refunded for this as I returned the gas full versus half a tank. U-Haul policy is to charge consumers 5.0 dollars a gallon of failed to pay. My over-priced unit was nothing but a nightmare the whole time. We had stuff get ruined in the unit and we didn't have the insurance so it cost us a valuable lesson. These are NOT climate controlled units or even weather proofed! They had many areas where rain leaking and moisture can get into the unit. We had over $1000 of stuff ruined including a 65" HD Smart TV. I was told I didn't have optional insurance so there is nothing that can be done. Isn't that what I pay for, a safe storage room for my stuff? I am a repeat customer and very dissatisfied that U-Haul even puts its name on this facility. One of the worst locations I have seen or dealt with, and I usually use U-Haul for all my moving needs across the country. I called before reserving. I was misinformed in reference to multiple things one of them being the size which I dealt with. Then I called yesterday to reserve a moving truck to find out that after using the storage for 6 days I will not receive any credit or rent proration or a discount on the truck. Starting with the initial issue of me paying for a unit that was not available the day I arrived to forcing me to take another unit knowing I had just moved across the state and had a u haul truck filled with storage items and no where to store them. I was told I could take a larger unit but had to return 2 weeks later to move all my stuff, this was a horrible inconvenience. The attendant on duty "Jackie" on 6/22/20 @ 4 pm was very rude in all aspect of my experience. The way she spoke to me a client was very aggressive from the minute I walked in. I had never had any type of issues in your establishment. was in the process of moving, which is already stressful enough to begin with so I figured id get a storage locker to ease some of my moving. I purchased the locker close to closing time, long story short the locker was defective, *wouldn't lock correctly* after I got all my belongings in the locker I found this out, then called customer service and they were no help, they told me to leave everything in the locker overnight, which I was not comftorable doing, (over 5k worth of stuff In there) then the next day while im at work my father has to go down there and relocate all of the items in the locker to the other side of the property, and this just threw a huge wrench into our spoked for moving my father missed his appointment with the movers which costs us time and money, I would like to have a phone call with upper management the branch manager has been no help and very hard to get a hold of as he works the same hours I do and I cant be on the phone at work if someone could please reach out to me so we can figure how ill be compensated for all the troubles I have been through thank you for your time.michael b. | First Impressions
