Only down fall about it was I was quoted 511 and some change for 1 week with the usage of 750 miles. I did add a one day extension to the rental aswell. But when I went to return the rental. I was still charger for the 750 miles when I only used 535 of said 750. The employee explained it on why I wasn’t gonna be reimbursed for the 215miles I didn’t use and it didn’t make sense. Other then that it was a great experience.

Richard DeLeonIt would have been an excellent experience had there been a utility trailer available at the storage facility (pre-ordered) for load out of the unit. Driving 54 minutes to Vineland, NJ to pick up a trailer and 44 minutes back to Egg Harbor was a misuse of my personal re$ource$ by Uhaul- especially since the rate of rental was 40% higher than just 2 months ago for same equipment.

Norman Roeske IIIThe store was super clean, I was having trouble locating my U-Haul with the app and the woman in the store offered for me to come inside and she would assist me. She was super friendly (filling in from the Toms River location) and she got me the keys and all set up with my vehicle in less than 5 minutes. The return of the U-Haul was just the same, took about 5 minutes and everyone there was super friendly.
Kathryn DilksAlexa Scott, the store manager, was excellent: focused, polite, efficient. My truck, however, was somewhat second-rate: while the engine and drivetrain were fine, the shocks and suspension were poor, and was equipped with only crank windows, and the most inconvenient - no cruise control! Very disappointing for distance/highway driving.
WILLIAM LAPENTAWorker was extremely rude upfront not only to me to many customers from me picking the truck up to dropping it off he was extremely rude. Truck was clean but this is my second time renting and it seems to be very common for the mileage meter to be messed up . while on the phone with a rep he even stated that the truck was giving issues with other customers as well. I wasn’t the only one in the store complaining about the truck mileage. Hopefully it can be fixed soon !! Seems to be a common issue .

Michael DeJesusNot sure I would recommend because the truck was seriously not reliable. It was having engine issues and stalling while driving. It was truly a terrifying experience. The manager did discount my bill but I am very uncertain about renting from uhaul again and I have only rented uhauls, not hertz or any other truck rental place. The experience was awful.

George StanavitchOnly challenges: In past, the access gate would not work but it has been fixed. In past. When I started with storage was told not possible to give me-'or anyone else--24 hour access. When moving out a f member voluntarily gave me 24 hour access so I could complete move out on time. What difference would it make to UHaul if customers had 24 hour access? I rented UHaul trucks there & had excellent experiences. Overall, very good experience. Much better than decades ago.

We started to put our stuff into the truck and we saw cockroaches running all over the truck so we had to take the stuff back out go back to the place where we rented it and get a new truck. Then we run out of daylight so we had to bring the people who were moving us back an extra day, which cost us extra money I feel we should be refunded for the truck rental because of it .

joe RodriguezWhen we entered the building there was a wet sign just past the entrance and I got dripped on by water dripping from the ceiling. This was odd as it wasn’t even raining. I use a cane and have a disability and the desk is the furthest spot from the door. Made for more walking. The flooring is separated from what looks to be water damage and is a potential. When I got onto the Black Horse Pike the sun visor did not have the clip to keep it in place to block sun and hung down in an awkward position, which blocked your vision so I had to move it over to the door window out of the way, which put the sun in my line of sight. But again being a beat the clock situation I had to suck it up and move on. I have rented many uhaul trucks in my life and this was the first time I was disappointed. If it was not for an time restriction for moving a friend from there old place to a senior complex I may not have kept the reservation. The young man at your site was very polite and helpful. And had no problems with him at all.

Rita FederNo questions on uHaul overall? You switched my pickup to virtual only. The app worked, but only after trying the instructions from your email per the website which did not work. Also when I tried to enter my cell number under my account it stated the number in use. Yes by me as I was logged into the account. Just a bunch of errors and glitches. When I did call uhaul go help, I waited 12 minutes only to be hung up on.

Jeffrey HuttToo difficult to get anyone on the phone, ever!!!!!! Too many manager changes and when we first set up our storage unit we were out on a wait list for a 10x20. Because of all the manager changes, we got lost in the shuffle and after 2-3 years we never did get a 10x20. When we ended our contract, Alexa wouldn’t even pro-rate our monthly unit. Ridiculous! I’ve never heard of not pro-rating it. Grounds always dirty, gate oftentimes left WIDE OPEN…bad service!

This uhaul was further away then other uhaul I have used, but I have to say I would make that drive again next time I need a uhaul. I also rented a storage unit because we moved not everything would fit in the 26 ft truck and a trailer. The people who helped me with getting the trailer and storage unit were amazing !! I think his name was Gary in egg Harbor Township NJ. So helpful and professional. I also used another uhaul store and I think her name was Sarah ? She helped me get the trailer back in December. She was also sweet, helpful and very professional. You can probably find the name of who helped me with the trailer in December. (If I am wrong) . All 3 people should be recognized for the help, professionalism and kindness. I am disabled and couldn’t have done any of this with out the 3 of them. I truly appreciate you hiring the right people. I have already told so many friends and family about my experience.

And leader that month when I was closing it out, I had a trailer from a different location. And the staff was so helpful. They went out of their way to assist me. Nick noticed that the tire on the trailer was low and together with Alexa they tried to re-inflate it, and ultimately walked me through the call with customer support to get the tire replaced by U-Haul. While I waited Alexa give me a great restaurant recommendation within walking distance to have lunch and checked in with me, and make sure that everything was all set throughout. Including calling the customer service desk to get an update on the tire repair ETA. Thank you so much. Best U-Haul location I’ve been to.

So I decided to stop by one day after work & the manager guy told me that they just had an auction and we're just waiting for the units to be cleaned out. So I stopped in there at least twice a week for about a month because I really needed this unit and he said I was the first one on his list. Because when we started talking about the unit and he asked me for my information the people I really got it from didn't put any of my information in there correctly. Every time I happen to go into the store this new management they don't know what's going on etc it's always the management the employees are helpful and to the point that they need a manager. When I spoke to the young guy at the desk he told me that the manager was back there and you can go back there meet her at your storage unit. I met her at my unit and she told me that for us to cancel your account you will have to move everything out I explained to her about 2-4 times different times and in different ways. I told her that I moved everything out that I wanted and now the rest is on this store because I came in here multiple times a week for about a month to get this unit and stay on top of it every time I come in this new management there's no notes no nothing. Like I said the employees are great very helpful but management sucks and I see why you have new management all the time at the store.

Saying that i wouldn't hesitate to suggest U-Haul to anyone that asked.

JAMES SCHIAVO | Overall ExperienceMy over-priced unit was nothing but a nightmare the whole time. We had stuff get ruined in the unit and we didn't have the insurance so it cost us a valuable lesson. These are NOT climate controlled units or even weather proofed! They had many areas where rain leaking and moisture can get into the unit. We had over $1000 of stuff ruined including a 65" HD Smart TV. I was told I didn't have optional insurance so there is nothing that can be done. Isn't that what I pay for, a safe storage room for my stuff? I am a repeat customer and very dissatisfied that U-Haul even puts its name on this facility. One of the worst locations I have seen or dealt with, and I usually use U-Haul for all my moving needs across the country. I am glad my things are out of this storage unit for good.

Then I called yesterday to reserve a moving truck to find out that after using the storage for 6 days I will not receive any credit or rent proration or a discount on the truck. I will no longer be using Uhaul. We are in the middle of a pandemic and keeping my $54 seemed more of a priority than keeping a long term customer.

When I decided to move out the manager said he was going to inspect my unit and call me I never heard back from I haul or him until 4 weeks later saying a few items where left behind and I was being charged Another entire months rent even though I sent five emails previously explaining I know longer wish to rent my unit and that I was to be considered moved out and no longer a customer has a manager contacted me and told me that the unit was not completely empty I would’ve made arrangements their communication skills are poor ,disorganized And very rude

Iris Baez | Overall Experiencewas in the process of moving, which is already stressful enough to begin with so I figured id get a storage locker to ease some of my moving. I purchased the locker close to closing time, long story short the locker was defective, *wouldn't lock correctly* after I got all my belongings in the locker I found this out, then called customer service and they were no help, they told me to leave everything in the locker overnight, which I was not comftorable doing, (over 5k worth of stuff In there) then the next day while im at work my father has to go down there and relocate all of the items in the locker to the other side of the property, and this just threw a huge wrench into our spoked for moving my father missed his appointment with the movers which costs us time and money, I would like to have a phone call with upper management the branch manager has been no help and very hard to get a hold of as he works the same hours I do and I cant be on the phone at work if someone could please reach out to me so we can figure how ill be compensated for all the troubles I have been through thank you for your time.

DECEPTIVE. I now have money taken out of my account twice for Saturday. DECEPTIVE. You can see how professional people are from the start. Too many storage facilities around for this kind of service.
