Jaxton shouldn't be in a public facing position, he is condescending an very unprofessional. To top it off he showed me the truck number on my paperwork and said if it wasn't out front the it would be I the back somewhere. It wasn't in the front it was however in the last of three different places that I had to walk on the property to find the truck. Please keep In mind that he was one of three people sitting on stools he was the only with me the two others were snickering with his smartalic tonal comments to me as I was trying to explain how the reservation was booked through the 1-800 agent as I was told. Between the snickering and the floresent purple hair color of the young girl sitting next to him the whole experience was less than a poor reflection of the uhaul name and brand

Need more help. Staff, 2 people, REALY busy when picking up this morning and dropping of this afternoon. Staff very polite and doing the best they could. Have rented 3 times for moving in last month...first 2 times were good...3rd time I got there 25 min late for van reserved for 18 hours...reservation was cancelled! 25 minutes? Van was dirty enough to not be able to see scratches from dirt...I go back in & crew bunch sitting on their butts...this was a Friday afternoon...crews before this, first 2 times were great!

Not charge miles for me to have to return U-Haul truck. I was charged because I had to drive 7 miles to return the U-Haul.

Rented a truck two weeks prior with no problem. Reserved a 27ft truck for the job two weeks later. Got a confirmation number for the truck. Called the day before spending $1000 to fly up to ask if it was alright to pick the truck up an hour later than the reservation and was told no problem at all. Flew up the following day to be told they don't have the truck or reservation. After showing them my reservation I was dismissed and told to call 1-800-u-haul and not their problem. After calling the customer service I was informed they overbooked and that's just they way it is. So, basically spend the money and roll the dice on getting a truck. The price for the truck is definitely cheaper than the compitition and now I know why. They did finally find a truck 6 hours later but we had a time critical pick up so it wound up costing us an extra $800.00 for being late. I would recommend anyone renting a truck use a company that actually cares about their customers.

Scheduled mobile pickup at 8:30AM, but wasn't allowed to get it until the location opened at 9:00AM. The truck rental I was given was infested with roaches. After killing 3-4 baby roaches, I realized that this would be my last time getting a U-Haul truck from this location.

Although the girl in the office was very efficient there was the need for another customer service employee. Was approx a 30 minute wait. The online checkin didn’t work well. Also a female employee was to bring the truck around to us. After waiting an addl 25 minutes I walked back to find her sitting in a truck listening to the radio playing on her cell phone. I was not the only customer waiting. I preferred renting a truck in Jasper IN but was inconvenient to put the extra miles on it since the move was contained in Evansville IN. Pay for more help!!!! And the employee that did help me needs a raise. She was very knowledgeable and courteous while under stressful conditions!!!

This was a terrible experience. I was supposed to pick up a truck from this location on Saturday morning. I had a reservation number and the location and time to pick up my truck. There was no truck and the lady at the counter could not have cared less. She offered no help and no excuse. I was able to finally get a truck 24 hours later (this was after paying for an additional night at a hotel and tremendous amount of stress wondering if/when we would ever get a truck). I would not wish this experience on anyone.

I would suggest that you actually have the trucks you guarantee that you have. I had to rent a much smaller vehicle and make many more trips which ended up costing more money and taking more time.

I booked this online in plenty of advance and when I show up they do not have everything I ordered. Not only did this happen to me but also the guy in front of me in line. Seems as if uhaul is happy to take your payment online and promise your items then the day your moving the place does not have your stuff. I will never use uhaul again.

I made my reservation to pickup at a location less than 1 mile from my home. I received an email that the pickup location was changed by U-Haul to a location on the other side of town. Had my reservation been honored at the location at which I made it, my total mileage would have been 24 miles. Because of the involuntary location change, I incurred about 20 additional miles that I otherwise shouldn't have had to pay for. In addition to the extra mileage cost, I had additional fuel cost for both the U-Haul and my personal car, and spent an extra 2 hours driving out of my way to pickup and drop off the rental. When I dropped off the U-Haul, I asked to have an adjustment made to my bill for the extra mileage and was told that it couldn't be done and that it wasn't U-Haul's fault the original location didn't have the truck I reserved (despite U-Haul accepting that reservation). I don't know whose fault it is, I don't really care other than that it definitely isn't my fault and therefore I shouldn't be responsible for paying the extra cost involved in the switch. It was disappointing enough to have an already busy day made even busier by switching pickup locations, but to then require that I pay the extra cost is a terrible policy.

Interior maintenance of the cab could have been better. I would suggest just removing the visors out of the cab since they are way too commonly broken. And make sure the handles on the cab doors are fixed for both the passenger and driver.

Outdated photos used for vehicle not showing damage to vehicle already had to dispute every photo , no windshield washer fluid, windows and exterior filthy, play in steering wheel I could turn from 10oclock to 2oclock and front tires never moved, furniture pad packet completely empty and dolly missing so had to photograph so I wouldn't be charged. Took 30 min to locate vehicle asked 3 different employees inside and outside offered ZERO help to locate. Will never rent there again. Next time will try Penske at Home Depot.

Make sure all equipment is functioning properly before customer leaves property. As you can see the straps were not oiled and working properly. It took me 15 min on 1 strap to loosen it up to put car on and same to take car off. I believe I should be due discount. Thank you, Michelle

I reserved a utility dolly and furniture pads and neither were in stock. The representative removed the furniture pads from the invoice but didn't remove the utility dolly but was told it would be in the "notes" of the invoice. Called the destination Uhaul location and they could not see the notes so it appeared I stole the dolly. Called the Evansville store and the employee was not trained to remove it from the invoice but said manager would call me Sunday to correct. Katie never called.

Had to wait 3 hours to get my truck and trailer and they dropped it off in a puddle of water to me to hook up my vehicle on to the trailer, driving vehicle from Indiana to Colorado springs the vehicle pulled hard to write the whole way here almost had several accidents and the AC did not work properly

You said you guaranteed our rental on your website, but when we got there, they found our reservation but said they didn't have a truck for us. We reserved a 10 foot truck, and all they had to offer was a cargo van or a 26 footer. We took the 26 footer, but it was too big for our needs, and my dad accidentally barely scraped my in-laws vehicle when trying to back it into our driveway. The uhaul wasn't damaged, but we could've avoided the trouble of all of that if we had the smaller truck. They were also very disorganized. When we tried to return the truck, there was a huge line of empty trucks waiting to be checked in and no workers were out there. We went inside and couldn't find anyone either. Sounded like they were all hanging out in an office maybe eating lunch & chatting. Just a really all around rough experience. They emailed a receipt. I emailed you guys to let you know about the slight contact with the truck but haven't heard back, so I'll assume all is well (like I said uhaul wasn't damaged). Not like that uhaul could be in much worse shape... the AC didn't work, bumper was taped on, basically every light on the dash was on, etc. I did get your safe move insurance policy so your crappy truck should be covered anyway. I'll hope this was just a rough day for you... I may give you another try sometime if I have to. Thanks for listening!

I rented the storage unit and my parents rented the trailer to help me move. My experience was fine but my parents had one incident. After hooking up the trailer my parents, and not the employees, noticed one of the rear brake lights were out. They brought it to a female employee's attention and was told that "it didn't matter because it was daylight."

Reserved a truck and equipment four weeks in advance. On the day of, received the wrong truck, and no auxiliary equipment was available. Earlier in the week, I asked to have a trailer hitch installed. Asked for a 2" hitch and was told it would take one hour to install. Made appointment. The installation took four hours, not one, and when I picked up the vehicle, uHaul had installed a 1 1/4" hitch.

Hire more staff. The staff working were great and doing the best they could but 30 minutes to pick up a previously reserved truck and a doZen returns backed up waiting to check in. Plus, truck AC did not work.

I had no problems with the Riverside site, it was that the online reservations told me to go to a certain uhaul provider then when 8 got there, it told me to go across town to another site. Then, when it was time to get my rental, the online check wasn't getting my pictures(my phone is a smart phone only a year old), so they canceled my reservation and I had to go in. I haven't moved in 20 years and always used uhaul in the past, but the whole process was more difficult than it should have been. The company chiefs need to overall the mobile program and test it. Then, maybe they can keep the site up to date and with availability of actual stores or franchise partners.

This customer service was 100% horrible. Katie should be fired, due to her lack of understanding her job and also her lack of customer service skills. I arrived around 3:50, for my 4pm rental. After waiting for 20-30 minutes, I was told my reservation "Had not arrived and it wasn't her problem." She would charge me the same for a 26ft cargo truck - even though 2 vans were on the lot. She then held me there until 4:35-4:40, telling me if I was late - it was on me. When the check engine light came on, I called back and spoke with another representative at this store (after being on hold for 30 minutes) who then re-directed me to Roadside - who kept me on hold for 45-50 minutes. This U-Haul is a joke and I will never be going back here. It seems more like a scam, just to make more money off of you. I recommend going with someone else - who actually provides solid customer service skills, since this place hires individuals incapable of doing so.

I use to love this uhaul an the staff but for the past two months I can truly say the staff is not all that friendly. I won storage lockers thru an auction an uhaul is the very first place in 7 years I've been buying units that doesnt allow u to access these lockers when the office is closed. I bought 4 from the riverside location an 4 from other storage places. When people have jobs an also buys these it truly causes issues not to mention the weather causing the locations to close earlier has truly caused some issues I had to extend my uhaul 3 extra days there then leaving me behind to move my other 4 lockers. An when I would call the local location was just rude an you all expect me to except you all making changes do to weather etc but it was a problem when I had to make changes. Not to mention I am wheel chair bound so I couldnt even clean out or assist with getting these lockers out because u all are not handicapped accessible. Even the ramp in the back has a few stairs leaving me to have to depend on someone to assist me or to pay others to help which is wat I have had to do. I've spent a lot of money with this location over he past 2 years an with the past 2 to 3 months I've learned that uhaul may not be the company for me to use for my small business because I've now spent over 450 dollars in less then a month truly crazy honestly an to have to deal with peoples rudeness an attitudes

Call the hotline and filed a formal complaint, hallways were exceptionally poor lighting. No lighting inside the units. Lights turned off while you're still working in the unit hallway lights worked. The men and the outside workers that worked with the trucks trailers we're very nice and helpful and exceptionally kind the office workers were the exact polar opposite very rude very ugly very demanding very slow. The manager was horrible. Doors were not open access was not available at their posted opening time access was closed and restricted 30 to 45 minutes before posted closing time. Hours of operation were not honored it was whatever was convenient for the employees. Very very overpriced for the service in the amount of space rented {period} would never rent from this location ever again may never consider renting U-Haul again.

Upon arrival unit still had stuff from prior renter. Talk to front desk they wanted me to take one on 1st floor at around $30 higher per month. I said you should give me that at same price. Would not so I removed the junk from room and placed in hall. While moving in they sent someone up to haul to dumpster. Almost missed my rental truck return time.

I resnted a unit only to find a lock on it. Because it was a personal lock they were unable to.remove it. They offered to give me a larger unit because the size unit I needed wasn't available. When we got to the larger unit, it had furniture, clothes and debris in it.i was told I would have to move out of the larger unit once a smaller unit became available. I wasn't willing to move my furniture twice. I cancelled my reservation!! I'm now looking elsewhere.

My personal experience wasn't that great. There was a whole thing where Everytime I came to town it seemed I couldn't access my belongings my swipey card didn't work after hours. I don't remember that being explained to me it said nothing about this in my contract I called an after hour number but couldn't get an answer.the online payment site was hard to use and charged me a late fee I never was able to get resolved. I rented on a holiday weekend when other facilities were closed so that was a convince others don't offer. The unit I had was very large at a very good rate. The staff at the office has always been more then helpful and very friendly.. I will always come here to get excite to impatience or anger; annoy trucks and accessories to haul but I would never recommend a storage here.

Had an absolutely terrible experience at Riverside Dr. location in Evansville, IN. Absolutely no customer service and no direction were given to me upon arrival of picking up the UHAUL truck and storage unit. Upon arriving we waited in line for 30 + minutes with only one other customer in front of us Of which 3 employees were standing around or sitting down behind the counter. The card machine was not working properly. That along with being basically ignored when we walked in the door and were the only ones standing in line was unacceptable. We were told after leaving with the truck that upon arriving with the truck we would then get further instructions and assistance with the storage unit I reserved. We arrived and once again were ignored by the blonde lady behind the counter. We received absolutely little to no instructions on how to gain access to the storage unit. We got to the storage unit and there was a lock on the door that was needing a key that no one told us about prior or offered assistance with and the store was closing in 10 minutes. I had to physically go down to the office and get assistance myself. The self check in process was terrible and I did not receive any account info or information on this process prior. I submitted it right at 8:00 PM the last possible time it was due before Being considered late. The unnecessary stress of the day did not help with my situation where I lost everything in a house fire 2 day’s ago. I even expressed this to the manager behind the counter and he proceeded to down play my situation and make jokes about COVID-19. I will never be doing business there again and do not plan on keeping my storage unit more than just a few days before I will take my business elsewhere. I will not be paying anymore to this company and will refuse payment for next month storage unit rent and terminating my contract ASAP.

We had an indoor, climate controlled unit. U-Haul made it all simple. Rented the trailer, moved son from Indy to Evansville, emptied contents of trailer into storage unit at U-Haul&returned trailer.
