The hood of the truck was not fastened down. As I was driving in wind and rain, it tried to raise up. I had to get out and fasten the hood down.

Spoon arriving i had to find and hook up my own equipment after waiting for 30 minutes to even speak to someone. I did the online precheck in so that sped things up a little. I was then charged $78, when the online amount was $68 and the receipt i just recieved said i paid $68. I'm probably not going to use this company again since I was over charged. When I mentioned it to the attendant, I was told, "The computer says $78." The trailer pulled well round trip and was in good working order.
Complete chaos. The trailer I was assigned was not available, the second trailer was missing safety chains and it had a bad tire. 2 hours later I was on my way. Staff seemed to be upset with the management. One manager lady was was getting on to the guy working the lot. The place was slammed and he was running his butt off, but couldn't keep up. She kept saying that she was the one doing all the work. I seen her vacuuming trucks, but that was it. The guy on the lot was visibly upset with the situation. 2 people were working the desk, but the business needs way more staffing. There was people 9 and 10 deep in the line. Maybe it's not always that way, but there's definitely opportunities there. Don't be in a hurry if you have to go there, especially on a Sunday morning. Thanks to the guy at the desk that came outside to help on the lot. I wish I could remember his name, but he was great. All I can remember is that he mentioned he has 5 kids.
We were charged for an extra day even though we dropped off the truck before the deadline. We spoke with an associate that confirmed we were good to go.
I had a very poor experience trying to pick up the truck. It was a complete mess at this location.

Great customer service
When making my reservation I requested to pickup at Riverside Dr. I received a call saying my reservation was changed to pickup at another location. Then on day of pickup I received a text saying the reservation had again been switched to Riverside Dr. This made it confusing to pickup at the correct location. The guy at the counter that checked me in and out was excellent. The guy on the lot at time of pickup was great. The guy on the lot at time of drop off was horrible because he tried to rush me out of the truck not allowing me time to get my things out or check the truck and tried to take the keys from me and get in the truck before I was even ready to return the truck. He was rude and pushy. The guy behind the counter that was working there but did not wait on me was obnoxious and abrasive. He was trying to get the guy waiting on me to post extra charges to my card. I have absolutely no idea why Uhaul employees people who actively try to make it difficult to do business with Uhaul.
Have 2 employees taking care of customers instead of just one
All workers were great but, one thing the rep forgot to tell us/ask us is... to refill the gas tank before bringing the truck back. I definitely Would have but, I was never asked to; I assumed that was included in renting the truck. I didnt know! So... other than That... Great experience with U-Haul and it's reps.
Had to wait to have the vehicle checked in for about 15 minutes after getting back. After a exhaustive day of hard work it is not fun to wait to be able to leave. When I went to the desk they less than being concerned said someone is "out there". No one showed up depite going back in a second time for at elast 15 minutes.
Went to pick up vehicle not ready still inline with several others Several Custermers were waiting sitting on the sidewalk one had crutches one lady had reserved hers 3 days earlier still not ready the poor worker who was trying his best You really need more help this is the 3rd time I've rented at this facility it has been the same thing every time not ready rude staff The satellite places to rent from do not have the larger trucks

Have a smart phone. Take pictures of the equipment. Good price. Nice equipment. Return was taking far to long due to contract issues.
Having more than one person at check in counter.
Seemed very understaffed, only saw 2 workers on Sunday 10-25, both were working hard but the flow of work was too much for only 2 employees
Tell your employees to quit complaining, throw away the mobile app, it's too complicated, I waited an hour, way too long, you need to improve on customer service.
I don't believe I have EVER dealt with such incompetence. There was only 1 person at the desk when I arrived and this person was attempting to help an elderly woman with some type of rental. There was another person wondering around in the business and she stated that she had NO idea what was going on and that she had just been hired and didn't know anything about what to do. I was the next in line behind this elderly female and then behind me were about 4 more customers waiting to be helped. As the clerk that was finishing his interaction with the elderly person, he called on the person in line behind me stating that the only thing this person needed was to pick up the key to his rental truck. I continued to wait in line for another 20 minutes, The manager came into the building and went straight to her office. She spent about 10 to 15 minutes in her office and finally came out to help at the customer service counter. Keep in mind that I had secured the Car Hauler rental 2 days prior to my arrival and ALSO completed the online check-in. When the manager finally came to the customer service counter, she was requesting EVERYTHING that I had done on my online check-in. I advised her that I had done the online check-in but she continued to ask for all of my information AGAIN, including having me take pictures of my Drivers License, which I had done on the online check-in. My entire experience at the dealership lasted for OVER an hour. THAT WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
I was disappointed in the amount of time it took to pick-up and return the moving van, even with an online reservation secured. We needed to rent furniture blankets for moving furniture, but a U-Haul employee had left the back of a truck open overnight and it rained so they were wet and unavailable to rent for moving. I have used U-Haul services in Terre Haute, IN and Muncie, IN and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Very disappointed in this Evansville store.
Waited over an hour to return a dolly. There was only one other customer in there. There were lots of employees there I guess they were just on a long break I don't know. They definitely weren't very interested in helping me out. Kind of ridiculous
Got there at 8:50 am many people already there and only one person working the counter and I finally got out of there at 9.45am
