I use to love this uhaul an the staff but for the past two months I can truly say the staff is not all that friendly. I won storage lockers thru an auction an uhaul is the very first place in 7 years I've been buying units that doesnt allow u to access these lockers when the office is closed. I bought 4 from the riverside location an 4 from other storage places. When people have jobs an also buys these it truly causes issues not to mention the weather causing the locations to close earlier has truly caused some issues I had to extend my uhaul 3 extra days there then leaving me behind to move my other 4 lockers. An when I would call the local location was just rude an you all expect me to except you all making changes do to weather etc but it was a problem when I had to make changes. Not to mention I am wheel chair bound so I couldnt even clean out or assist with getting these lockers out because u all are not handicapped accessible. Even the ramp in the back has a few stairs leaving me to have to depend on someone to assist me or to pay others to help which is wat I have had to do. I've spent a lot of money with this location over he past 2 years an with the past 2 to 3 months I've learned that uhaul may not be the company for me to use for my small business because I've now spent over 450 dollars in less then a month truly crazy honestly an to have to deal with peoples rudeness an attitudes

Fix needed repair. There was a floor plate. That was dangerous do to it being broke. It is located right in center of the floor. A tripping hazard. To everyone loadinf/ unloaded. I twisted my ankle and another person did too. Needs repaired before being rented again.

We when to return the truck and it took them and hour and a half. Now if that was us bring the truck back and hour late you would have to pay a late fee . So with that being said I think we should either let use use the truck couple day or a refund

I rented a 15' van on Friday at 3pm by 8pm the battery was dead. It took until 2am to get a battery from roadside. The tow company was supposed to replace battery and just gave us a jump. I went to make the next load and the trucks battery was dead again. I lost time with the truck.

We had problems moving due to the weather and had to extend our rental. Staff was rude. Our truck leaked and damaged some of my property, staff seemed to not care. Waiting for the claims person to call requarding my insurance claim.

The U-Haul website was a major problem. I was trying to establish an account. I live in Southern Indiana and every time I tried to put in my zip code I would get an error message saying that the zip code I was entering was invalid for my location. I finally gave up.

The website allowed me to choose a convenient location, but I was called several days before the arrival and told that only a handful of locations accepted U-Boxes. The location was changed from an option that was very convenient to me to one that required a forty-minute drive each way. This was a bait and switch. I will not recommend U-Haul or it's services.

Call the hotline and filed a formal complaint, hallways were exceptionally poor lighting. No lighting inside the units. Lights turned off while you're still working in the unit hallway lights worked. The men and the outside workers that worked with the trucks trailers we're very nice and helpful and exceptionally kind the office workers were the exact polar opposite very rude very ugly very demanding very slow. The manager was horrible. Doors were not open access was not available at their posted opening time access was closed and restricted 30 to 45 minutes before posted closing time. Hours of operation were not honored it was whatever was convenient for the employees. Very very overpriced for the service in the amount of space rented {period} would never rent from this location ever again may never consider renting U-Haul again.

Once we loaded our vehicle we noticed the tires air pressure looked low. So, after paying a shop to check air pressure it was found that all tires were 15 to 20 psi low. This is a major safety issue that haul would allow equipment to leave that had not been maintained.

The start of the process was easy. I did most of it online prior to arriving. The first trailer I assigned had a problem with the running/marker lights. The representative asked me if I would be driving at night. I was then told I could take it if I wanted if I was only using it during the day. I told the 2 reps helping me that I wanted a trailer with fully functional lights. I was then told to move to the one next to it. It was almost hooked up when we were told it this one was a one-way trailer. So we had to move to another trailer. I was able to leave with the 3rd one.

I explained that I was making a long trip I had a truck that was unable to fuel up without a funnel I also had an inside flat tire but I'm glad that I had roadside assistance to check it out before I continue further into the mountains it ended up taking about 5 to 6 hours and delayed me an entire day on my trip along with the fueling issues I was delayed about 3 days total

The employee that hooked up the item to my truck did not tighten the coupler "nut" to my ball sufficiently. While loading my vehicle onto the trailer the trailer disconnected from the tow vehicle. Fortunately this did not happen while moving down the road.

Upon arrival unit still had stuff from prior renter. Talk to front desk they wanted me to take one on 1st floor at around $30 higher per month. I said you should give me that at same price. Would not so I removed the junk from room and placed in hall. While moving in they sent someone up to haul to dumpster. Almost missed my rental truck return time.

The lady was rude they tried to charge me for gas when it was over what I had in it when I picked it up she refunded my gas money back to my card 52.50 but it still hasn't posted on my bank my money out of my bank does not match the statement she was so rude to me never said she was sorry there were 2 girls working the one with the color hair must have been new she had problems finding me an putting me in the other girl didnt want to help her an it was the other girl that was supposed to refund my money which hasn't shown up yet I will not use them again

The Uhaul truck that I received was in poor condition. The passenger wiper blade was broken and not working properly. The radio on/off knob has a short in it, you cannot change the volume of the radio without the radio turning itself off. The front wheels were so out of alignment that the steering wheel had to be held at a 45 degree angle to the drivers right side in order to keep the trunk in a straight line on the highway. The front end wheels being out of alignment and the poor condition of the front tires made for a very noisy and rough ride. I was very disappointed in the condition of this truck.

Manager was rude from the jump when picking up. Then when checking in with the photos to confirm damage, there were 4 or 5 different spots of damage on the truck that weren't in the original photos provided to confirm. I disputed them and had to take photos of everything. Truck only had a 1/4 tank of gas as well, which is an obvious attempt to rip you off. Overall, things worked well with the truck but the whole situation is an obvious attempt to nickel and dime you. Will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Location had everything it needed too, however the truck didn't appear to be cleaned out. Lots of dirt on the floor, ashes in the ash tray (smelled bad, especially to someone who doesn't smoke), radio didn't work, inside of the box wasn't cleaned out. Overall the truck worked, but those items above made it not as enjoyable.

The lady that did my contract was rude and did not explain anything. When I returned the truck they must have written the wrong mileage down because when I entered the mileage the app said it was less than the starting mileage. My experience was pretty poor.

Good experience overall. If I had to choose one thing to improve upon, when there's a scheduled pick up maybe have the truck ready and a worker available to get you out the door faster. There was a customer in front of me, and the whole process from paying to them going to the back and getting the truck for me took about 20-25 mins. I figured it would've been a 5-10 min process at most since I did the online check-in.

I was overcharged mileage. Only drove twenty and was charged for 120 miles.

My truck was reserved for the day the day before and I called an said I would be there in the afternoon. I had to drive 1.5 hrs to get there. I get there an have to wait for the truck to be cleaned. the gas an milage was off. Had to tell them that an I bought a lock an sofa covers an was overcharged and didn't realize it until I looked at the receipt. I would never recommend this uhaul to anyone ever. Horrible experience.

I rented a 15' truck. I am a female, 5' tall. It would be VERY gracious if you would put some type of running board beside each of the doors. I not only drove the truck but I was also a passenger and found it quite difficult to climb onto the seats.

I got charged $40 for being a day late when we dropped it off THREE MINUTES late. But the employee didn't check our truck in until 30 minutes late. But I still feel like that is completely unreasonable. Very disappointed and upset. Right before Christmas too.

Was unaware of after hours service fee of 20$. Facility closed at five. Had truck returned at 4:45. Just left keys in vehicle because I wasn't instructed otherwise. Facility seems understaffed.

I resnted a unit only to find a lock on it. Because it was a personal lock they were unable to.remove it. They offered to give me a larger unit because the size unit I needed wasn't available. When we got to the larger unit, it had furniture, clothes and debris in it.i was told I would have to move out of the larger unit once a smaller unit became available. I wasn't willing to move my furniture twice. I cancelled my reservation!! I'm now looking elsewhere.

My son, who was my driver dropped the truck off between 3 and 4 pm on the 12th. We had the truck for approximately 6 hrs. The man he handed the keys to asked if I paid with cash or credit card. They told him credit card. He said I would be emailed a receipt. (I never got one) then the afternoon of the 13th I got a call from a woman named Tina asking when I would be returning the truck. I called my boys to find out if they had spoke to someone or just put the keys in a drop box. They told me they gave them to that guy who was supposed to email me a receipt. I called Tina back and she told me they found the truck. The man had accepted the keys but did not log the truck in . I asked if that ment I had to pay the full 24 hrs. Tina said no. Then last night around 5 or 6 I was charged on my credit card a second days rental. I am very upset and getting the run around will never use or suggest anyone use this location. I feel like I was robbed. A 60 mile 5 hr move has cost me nearly 400 dollars after gas and fees for a truck they had in their possession.

When I went in to return the truck, the man at the counter was not friendly. His response when i told him i was here to drop off, was put keys in seat and park it. I had to go back in twice and tell him where i parked it, due to parking lot being full. He was still very rude. Another employee was cursing out loud when i arrived with others in the building as well.

Spoon arriving i had to find and hook up my own equipment after waiting for 30 minutes to even speak to someone. I did the online precheck in so that sped things up a little. I was then charged $78, when the online amount was $68 and the receipt i just recieved said i paid $68. I'm probably not going to use this company again since I was over charged. When I mentioned it to the attendant, I was told, "The computer says $78." The trailer pulled well round trip and was in good working order.

Complete chaos. The trailer I was assigned was not available, the second trailer was missing safety chains and it had a bad tire. 2 hours later I was on my way. Staff seemed to be upset with the management. One manager lady was was getting on to the guy working the lot. The place was slammed and he was running his butt off, but couldn't keep up. She kept saying that she was the one doing all the work. I seen her vacuuming trucks, but that was it. The guy on the lot was visibly upset with the situation. 2 people were working the desk, but the business needs way more staffing. There was people 9 and 10 deep in the line. Maybe it's not always that way, but there's definitely opportunities there. Don't be in a hurry if you have to go there, especially on a Sunday morning. Thanks to the guy at the desk that came outside to help on the lot. I wish I could remember his name, but he was great. All I can remember is that he mentioned he has 5 kids.

My personal experience wasn't that great. There was a whole thing where Everytime I came to town it seemed I couldn't access my belongings my swipey card didn't work after hours. I don't remember that being explained to me it said nothing about this in my contract I called an after hour number but couldn't get an answer.the online payment site was hard to use and charged me a late fee I never was able to get resolved. I rented on a holiday weekend when other facilities were closed so that was a convince others don't offer. The unit I had was very large at a very good rate. The staff at the office has always been more then helpful and very friendly.. I will always come here to get excite to impatience or anger; annoy trucks and accessories to haul but I would never recommend a storage here.

Had an absolutely terrible experience at Riverside Dr. location in Evansville, IN. Absolutely no customer service and no direction were given to me upon arrival of picking up the UHAUL truck and storage unit. Upon arriving we waited in line for 30 + minutes with only one other customer in front of us Of which 3 employees were standing around or sitting down behind the counter. The card machine was not working properly. That along with being basically ignored when we walked in the door and were the only ones standing in line was unacceptable. We were told after leaving with the truck that upon arriving with the truck we would then get further instructions and assistance with the storage unit I reserved. We arrived and once again were ignored by the blonde lady behind the counter. We received absolutely little to no instructions on how to gain access to the storage unit. We got to the storage unit and there was a lock on the door that was needing a key that no one told us about prior or offered assistance with and the store was closing in 10 minutes. I had to physically go down to the office and get assistance myself. The self check in process was terrible and I did not receive any account info or information on this process prior. I submitted it right at 8:00 PM the last possible time it was due before Being considered late. The unnecessary stress of the day did not help with my situation where I lost everything in a house fire 2 day’s ago. I even expressed this to the manager behind the counter and he proceeded to down play my situation and make jokes about COVID-19. I will never be doing business there again and do not plan on keeping my storage unit more than just a few days before I will take my business elsewhere. I will not be paying anymore to this company and will refuse payment for next month storage unit rent and terminating my contract ASAP.

Rented a Uhaul to move to Florida tried to get a 10 foot Uhaul. Tried and tried to no prevail. Ended up getting a 15 foot Uhaul. I was worried I could drive it but it handle very well and gas mileage
