The van like someone died in it or someone carried something dead in it. The smell was HORRIBLE! It made some of the products I was carrying smell. I don't know what happened in this van!!! It needs to be fumigated!!!

The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a rental company. I returned my rental around September 16th. When I returned my rental, I pulled into the awning and the man told me to leave it with him along with the keys, then I left. Then one month later, I was sent a bill saying that it had only just been returned the day prior and they planned to charge me some ridiculous amount. Whatever moron received the keys and van from me obviously failed to report it as returned. I'm now having to get my attorney involved in the matter. Not to mention that upon renting, I was told by the man he had "accidentally" added in the extra insurance I had already DECLINED. He told me not to worry and that it would be refunded to me upon return. Obviously nothing was refunded to me upon return. Don't rent from these crooks unless you want to spend your time taking legal action as I'm now doing.

I signed up for contactless check-in, when it was time for me to get my key from the lock box, the box was empty and I was forced to wait in line for 15 mins with several other customers. Neither worker there was wearing a mask - EVEN when it specified on the door that they should do such. No social distancing observed by either associate, walked right up to me without a mask. The associates I encountered, while returning the truck, wore their masks and were friendly. The truck also died during my move. It sat with the hazard lights on for an hour and a half, and died. It took 30mins to charge the battery enough to start it. I ordered an appliance dolly and there was none. The driver seat sun visor was detached and sitting on the dash (which forced me to stand up in the seat while driving due to the sun shining in my face). The haul cabin light didn't work at all. I've rented exclusively from Uhaul since 2010: Trailer hitches, trucks of all lengths, boxes, locks, etc. I'm not coming back. I can't trust a company that doesn't respect its equipment, customers, or this pandemic.

The reason I wouldn't recommend this location is that it is a dangerous area due to high crime. I only went there because the location I chose didn't have the truck I had reserved.

The latch on the back of the Uhaul was very hard to use and it took us about 10 minutes to get it to latch as it kept getting stuck. Additionally, I went to the Uhaul location on my confirmation to pick up my truck and when I arrived and logged into my Uhaul account I was told I was at the wrong location and had to drive somewhere else 18 minutes away. This was a negative experience and I probably will not use Uhaul again. The woman who checked the truck back in when we returned it was wonderful - that was the only good part of this experience.

Received vehicle with low tire warning light on. Stayed on for 3 days I had vehicle. No interior cab light. Truck was clean and was sufficient for our needs.

The local U Haul staff were great.... unfortunately the day I picked up the truck there were computer / IT issues at the corporate office. I chose online check-in and it took nearly 40 minutes to wait until my rental was approved. Eric however was great through my frustrations, and did what he could to help.

Maybe have prices on a sliding scale for those that might not have a credit card or as much money as others/or give senior citizens a discount. The customer service is superb though!

I rented a tow dolly and one of the straps was almost ripped halfway through. That is dangerous. The equipment should probably be better inspected prior to lending it to customers.

Make sure your employees all wear masks. Not just for the customers health but also for their own. Was around two associates and neither had a mask on.

Staff behind the counter wore no masks. Male clerk at desk was not friendly and used profanity while talking to other female clerk. The van rented had animal hair all over seats and during a global pandemic it's hard to believe that a large corporation like U-Haul doesn't provide better measures to dissenfect equipment that the public will use.

Everyone at this location was Extremely friendly. They went out of their way to speak and be nice. The first Van smelled of smoke and had ashes in cup holders but was changed to another quickly and with a smile. Great experience.

I have moved at least a dozen times in my life. This was the easiest due to the U-Box system and the helpful professional folks at U-Haul both online, on the phone and at the stores. Thank you I am grateful.

We had 2 storage units at the same time but at different companies. One at Uhaul and one at a competitor. The other one was better lit, more convenient and not set up to screw us into paying another month. The unit at uhaul was bigger and a little easier to physically access so that was nice. Having to go to the store to cancel is ridiculous especially in the current environment of coronavirus. We will not rent again because of this.

overall experience went very well, far better than previous visit. truck was very clean. the only issue i had was dealing with Virginia on the 800 #. on hold for a very long time for on-line questions. hopefully i will be able to handle future requests smoothly on-line. thank you very much.

I'm not sure The name of the ladies who helped me one helped me when I went to pick up the truck and another one helped me when I checked out and they were both extremely nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

HORRIBLE customer service. Charles, who reviews returns of retails, verbally berates customers through condescending tones, insults and an overall angry attitude. Charles called us idiots, raised his voice, and was confrontational to me to the point where people had to intervene. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF MY LIFE. I will avoid using uhaul and specially tell friends and family to avoid this specific location due to the horrendous treatment we received. Completely unprofessional. Absolutely insulting. This man should not be working with customers, period.

only issue was the drop off site location was very far away and not what I had suggested. I went inside to ask if I could change and they said they couldn't do it but gave me an 800 #. I called that number and they were upset with the pick up location office people saying they should have done it because the people on the phone couldn't. Was quite a hassle.They finally gave me another number to call who helped me

Had issue when returning truck - my location was not found even though I confirmed that my phone had location setting turned on. So we weren't able to do that check I , and it was somewhat difficult to find the key drop area. I would suggest that the customer be provided with manual return instructions in case the mobile check-in doesn't work.

Both facilities I picked up and dropped off at were very helpful and professional. I am frustrated with the lack of communication from the representative over the phone that I spoke with. He quoted me at $108 (truck plus dolly with no insurance) but the place I picked up from had me at $150 (I'm guessing truck, dolly, insurance). I ended up going with it, but I just didn't like that that was added without my consent. Also, I was told that I could drop off the truck at any location, but when I went to the one closest to me, they told me I didn't have a reservation with them. They ended up taking it in, but again, the communication between the company and the customer could be a lot better.

What a terrific crew! There were issues with my wiring harness and everyone immediately worked to resolve it as fast as possible. They even called in a supervisor who drove all the way over from another Uhaul store to trouble shoot and then replace my wiring harness. His kindness, wit, and expertise made a stressful experience much easier for me.

My stuff was damaged from water due to a roof leak and I asked to use the dumpster and was denied so I had to load it all onto a trailer and pay at the dump to get rid of it.

My first experience with your facility was horrible we are from out of town and need assistance dropping off the truck but because we where close to closing y’all wouldn’t even help and then told us we had another day on our truck just to rush us out the door just to find out that it wasn’t true. But the second day I came in for my storage unit the lady that assisted me was awesome but the white lady at the front desk needs retrained on her customer services skills.
