I did not want to make as issue of it at the time. However, it was very upsetting to see that none of the (3) employees that I observed were not wearing masks during this time of COVID-19. It is still not safe to not wet masks...William D.

I needed help and when I put my mask on and got out of my car the kid that worked there didn't have a mask on and basically told me I can't help you. I would never treat someone like that. I was appalled on how rude he was. I won't use uhaul again.Kirsten T.

We had a hard checkin even though I had reserved and put all info in online. Employee came in not wearing a mask and stayed unmasked the whole time in the store. Same said employee came with keys. He was not same employee who checked us in. All in all our checkin took at least 20 mins. We should have been in and out. That was my experience at the North Rt 1 location.Joseph A.

Everything with the vehicle was fine but the service left a lot to be desired. We couldn't find anyone to assist is when we arrived so I had to call the location in hopes that someone would answer. Eventually someone came and he was pleasant enough. When we returned the vehicle, the same attendant was a bit less pleasant and it felt as though we were bothering him by asking for the total sum of my bill.Sharon D.

I did a online check in and when I got there I had to redo the entire thing! Had a 9 am reservation got there a few minutes ahead of time and took me 30 minutes to recheck in!! Dropped the trailer off before my rental time ended and got a call an hour and 13 minutes after it was due back say they would call the cops!!! But they had it back on the lot before it was due back, I rented over 20 trailers from them I'm a regular at u hall definitely the worst experience I had here not happyMario R.

Employee (Guila) was very flexible and understanding in rescheduling my appointment when I had a legitimate conflict. The option to choose the dolly at our destination was very useful as there were no loading carts available for the unloading..John S.

Of the four employees I encountered picking up and dropping off a trailer not a single one was wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. Furthermore, after dropping off I had to ask for a receipt for proof that I had returned the trailer.... what would have happened if I hadn't asked?Russell G.

I have only two complaints about this rental. 1)The spring or springs on the overhead door of the trailer were broken which made it difficult to raise and lower the door 2) Not a single employee, including the General Manager were wearing masks, as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!Lee F.
My complaint is that o rented a truck in norristown, pa and my reserved truck was returned to a different location, so I was assigned a new truck 40 minutes away. I understand that might happen, but there was no phone call to let me know to make new arrangements. Wasted two hours waiting for uhaul; while my movers waited for me to get the truck. If you don't have a truck. Don't wait for the customer to show up before you start to make new arrangements. Figure it out and at least give a preventative phone call. Terrible experience.Jonathan R.
The staff did not wear a mask when I came to claim my boxes. He seemed bothered by my being there asking for the ones we preordered. He sighed as he looked up from his cell phone. One the day we picked up the truck, there were a few employees and only one was wearing a mask. We also did the pre-check-in in hopes to make the process easier but that was not the case. Also, the truck latch was frozen. Calling for assistance did not go well as their office did not open till 9am. Inside the truck was garbage from the previous renter. I did report the event of picking up the boxes to corporate but did not give a time or location as we had not picked up the truck and did not want any hassles.Brian B.

I rented a 26' truck two weeks ahead with confirmation email to pickup as scheduled, so I booked the movers. Only to be told day off at the location that the customer before me didn't return the vehicle so I have to wait till 2pm from 9am. Movers were at my house waiting. No other arrangement was made to find me another vehicle. Movers couldn't come back 2pm because they have other jobs. After waiting one and half hours and calling other truck companies with no luck, this location gave me a 17' white truck that couldn't carry my belongings at once. I paid movers extra $160 for additional person, still I lost two hours of my time with them. Ended up packing and moving half of my things myself. This is the worst moving experience I have ever had.Kikelomo O.

My stuff was in a storage unit since 2017 (2 1/2 years). During this time I lived in another state I finally was able to retrieve m my stuff on 7/11/2020. For the length of time my stuff was kept in the unit everything was in good condition. No bugs or any other undesirables were discovered in my boxes. I guess it was the climate control and cleanliness. I am grateful during this time their weren’t any fires or natural disasters. I would recommend to others.Linda W. | Overall Experience
