This location cheats consumers on billing. The staff pretend to be busy (very abusive) when equipment is returned. They will tell you” leave the equipment and go, we send you the final bill by email” guess what they, include charges like “after hr charges” and ding you for abstract items. This is illegal and unethical. May ruin Uhauls reputation. Thinking of putting my comments on social media.

Joseph Callahan is the best! He took the time to wash out the trailer bed so that it was clean for my project. I have used this location several times and Joseph always has the truck/trailer I needed. He explained everything and gives friendly and prompt service

The van I rented was fantastic... new vehicle that drove very well and was perfect for what I needed. Really need to have staff available to check vehicle back in upon return. I was told to leave the keys on the seat outside and they would send me a receipt later, but I was uncomfortable with the fact that no one was able to immediately inspect it and confirm that I returned the vehicle in same condition. What if someone hit it or damaged it on the lot before it was checked back in? I would have been held responsible and I was unnerved until I got the receipt several hours later.

I went in for just a trailer rental and they forced me to rent a van instead. This quadrupled the price of the rental. Their claim was that the lighting hookup was not working, but this hookup was actually installed by U-Haul. I paid $300-400 for the hookup and I'm wondering why i paid this if they couldn't even install it properly???

Get crooks from working there. Charging people for items not used and then just putting people on hold for 28 minutes! Also make getting out of the parking lot easier as it is on a busy street and making a left across three lanes is no easy feat.

I am extremely disappointed in the reservation system. I had to switch a date and time. The CSR was very accommodating during this process. I informed them I need the trailer at 10 AM and they said there was no problem and it was confirmed. I was quite surprised when I received a text at 7 AM the day of stating my reservation would be cancelled by 9 AM. I tried calling several times and finally spoke to a CSR at 9:15. This was an even more frustrating event. The CSR thought she was being empathetic but in fact made things worse. To make a long story short I hung up. I made my way to the rental center. Upon my arrival there were two customers ahead of me waiting to speak to a manager. Well, now their was three. Randy did an awesome job in “uncancelling” my reservation and got me on my way. I worked for U-haul in the early 90's and know first hand what he was experiencing. Moving is one of the top 5 most traumatic experiences a person can do and this system in place does nothing more than magnify it. Basically if you are still reading this I appreciate you hanging in there. To summarize CSR #1 lied to me stating that I was booked for 10 AM. CSR #2 needs to be re-trained. You can work on you business computer system. I reserved and paid for my trailer on-line. I uploaded the front and back of my license. I did an additional “check in” when I was sent an email to do so. When I got to the location it was as if I had not done anything ahead of time. I had to give them my license twice I had to pay with my credit card and they didn't know the drop off location? Certainly not what I expected given the COVID 19 situation!!!

I would train employees to be friendly to customers. The one fellow in particular who was taking care of me when I was picking up the equipment. You most likely have a way to see who that fellow was . Very unpleasant and mean .

There were a lot of problems during this rental process which I will detail in a letter. Too much to list here. It was a terrible rental experience. I have rented from this location many times previously with our problems. The people that are working their now are rude and incompetent. I will detail my accusations with documented proof in a letter to corporate.
