You'll have to pull the video recording from the call center related to myself remember 810-496-7170 I called twice 12 of September. Second service rub believe the woman's name start with r but definitely the second one that completed the reservation put the wrong reservation date so when I went to pick it up they didn't have it on file because it already passed. So I wasted 30 minutes of my time $5 in gas. But yet U-Haul still wants to charge me 1.6 miles past the hundred that I specified on the reservation quote. I think y'all should have reimbursed me that's just bad business. I had to quote unquote break the traffic laws to get to the other location in time. And the whole purpose of running a vehicle is because my fourth gear is blown out on my truck so I had to take the expressway going 40 miles an hour at 4500 RPMs. When I say break the traffic law speeding wise going over the speed limit within the tolerances that my vehicle allows me to drive right now. But I even asked and confirmed the only thing I didn't do was review the reservation myself because everybody should know how to do the job in which they train for you guys want to credit me something in the future that'd be much obliged because I'm going to be needing the service and a month

The staff needs to be trained on customer service skills. I requested my receipt upon the return of the rented-out trailer. My receipt upon the return of the rented trailer. One of the staff members said he is busy and has no time to attend to the request for receipts. I was surprised by the answer and asked for a manager. The other staff member working there said you never dealt with me and will email you the receipt when I get time. I said Who is the manager, The staff member said I am the manager, and you left the store. You have been bothering us. I was very surprised by their poor customer service. I always went to this store in past and had a very good customer service with Dante, He is an excellent guy, I am sorry to say that these staff members were very rude to me. They can learn from Dante on how to provide customer service.

The muffler system was horrible! So loud! Shift was rough! Glad I only had to go about 10 miles away. Definitely not meant for distance. Very poor. I was rushed for time otherwise I would have asked for a different truck!! Customer service was very good!

Include wire harnesses for trailers since the pigtail on the trailers were only 2 inches long and unable to reach the tow vehicle. CSR did not meet me at the equipment for set up. Another CSR was available at drop off. Equipment was full of dirt and grass clippings.

Seamless experience. From picking up to returning the truck the service desk people were top notch. A special thank you to the gentleman working outside who helped me right away because I was too short to pull down the door & when I returned pointed me in the right direction for inspection. The price was just too high to maintain the contract. Otherwise the help from employees was superb and experience was certainly pleasant. No one was ever rude and they helped me to resolve my contract with no strings attached.
The wait in line can be very long at times, and a chair or two to sit in would be nice for those of us that are challenged.
Having someone to always pick up the phone to answer question and to return calls would be nice and lead to less aniexty for the customers.

It was a major inconvenience to find out at the VERY LAST minute that you did not have the equipment that was reserved appropriately a week prior to use.
Then I had to drive to another location for the car transporter.
Major discrepancy.. your service provider informed me late in the game that you only had a toy hauler for me BUT that the only difference was that I would have to provide my own straps!
Major false statement! Luckily a car transporter had just surprisingly been dropped off minutes before my arrival. Clear message that proper staff training at all levels is highly recommended!
Needless to say.. your staff personnel at the Flint and Williamston offices were absolutely amazing and made the adventure acceptable! They made a big difference in making my trip a please trip after all the chaos!

Most of time when I go to this site they are extremely busy. Even though busy The staff were attentive to each customer, friendly and polite. I noticed they focused on each customer and their needs. First of all, I moved out on 7/3/2025, not move-in as indicated above. There was always a long wait time for in office service; entered codes and alarm always went off on the unit; parking garage was always filthy, the moving carts were disgusting, and one of the garage doors will open and allow a vehicle to enter, but will not open for exiting when pushing the open button. Had to open the other door and make a u-turn within the garage yo exit.

The miserable, ugly ass employees are truly disrespectful especially the young black one with the jacket who has keys hanging out of his pocket(which I took a pic and sent it to his boss) with the bass fisherman hat on. Devlin already took his precious time calling somebody up when a line started. Then when a lady finally asked what was going on that's when his fat ass wanted to start working. This is the 3rd time with this poor customer service. Either fire everyone and start over or get them mfs in shape. It's not our fault they working a piss poor ass job that they don't want. Out of all of them it was only 1 that was truly helpful I wish I would've got his name. The rest can kiss ass. Including Dante.

The first batch of boxes I received were old, wooden crates with vinyl covers that would barely lock. Terrible.The second set of boxes was new steel and fiberglass (?), very nice. The trailers I used to take the boxes to my final location were sketchy at best. The tongue jacks were almost impossible to raise and lower, and twice I had fenders fall off.

The unloading of a 26 foot truck is inconvenient due to the unloading bays being too small to fit the truck. The carts are nice for the long walk to your unit. Large units sold out. Time to expand and upgrade.

One thing that stood out for me was I thought I secured my storage with my lock going back and forth in it on several occasions, however, when I went to go it on a different day, UHAUL had put a tag and another lock on it. I didn't understand why because I know my storage was paid. The manager went with me and stated that it wasn't secure so as a precaution they locked it and he showed me to make sure this is how my lock is suppose to be. They could use a few more staff.

I am providing best ratings across the board because, while I experienced significant complications and it actually took me about 5 days to finally get into a rental truck, the lengths a uhaul associate went to make sure I was able to finally accomplish my task of relocating my property from one storage facility to this new one were unprecedented as far as my typical experiences go. It is not often that there is any way I can receive accommodations despite all the business misconducts and obstacles beyond my control. But in this case, I was helped until I was able to finally rest uninhibited. And for that I am grateful!!!! So, I will leave my suggestions to uhaul to another avenue another time. As for now, I am, as I came to be in the end, fully satisfied and grateful.

I thought it was a 24 hour place because all the 24 HOUR SURVEILLANCE! signs. The people at the desk tried to tell me wrong information about getting a space, and treated me poorly until they got a call from their boss, then everything was fine. I had to interrupt Mr Vicent at church! I was told I could sort things in my space but this morning they yelled at me & said I was sleeping. I was NOT. The first night I accidentally forgot to use the blue box to sign out and even though it said you have a night manager type guy I couldn't raise Anyone on the phone. Neither could your guy but he had the same info as me. When I first tried to find which building to go to to order the space, nobody knew which was the main one. They had to call your number to find out and got the same experience I did. I think funneling all your offices into one phone system is a mistake. I know it's very irritating. And a lot of the staff are rude. This is not the first time dealing with them, they're always rude (EXCEPT the lady that finally helped me! ♥️ She was awesome)

I was extremely happy with the facility, until recently. I physically moved out of unit 1536 (5×10) on 3/29/24. On this same day, I signed a contract and made payment for unit 1523 (10x10). Although I had not physically moved anything into the unit, I returned on 4/4/24, less than a week later, only to find out that I had supposedly been moved out of the new unit. Dante, the General Manager, said he could not find me in the system initially and then found that I had been moved out of unit 1523 because, "The guys checked the unit, it was empty, so the unit had been rented". So much for checks and balances. his is a large corporation and mind boggling how this would happen. He offered me a 10x10 at the facility down the street that was not climate controlled. I eventally settled on a 10x15 (2061) climate controlled for more money. He stated that I was receiving 1 month free, and I'm assuming that this was supposed to be some sort of resolution. However, I have already been charged for unit 1523 through 4/26/24. I did not have my contract for unit 1523 with me at the time, but when I returned home I reveiwed it and I don't know how in the world someone was moved into a unit that I have documentation of paying for less than a week prior. Seems like double dipping. The payments were automatically charged to my credit card for the over the past 3 or 4 years for unit 1536 and this would have been the same for unit 1523, so if I never moved into the unit, it should not be an issue as long as the payments are current. In addition, there is nothing in the contract that states that a customer must move in within a specific time frame. Why wasn't there a green zip tie and tag the on unit, like there is currently on unit 2061? The tag had another person's name on it, and I will not be moving into that until later in the week, so am I at risk of losing that unit as well? I needed a wider unit, not a longer one that I somehow find myself stuck with for the time being. Highly disappointed....

Thank you this is my second time having my stuff in storage my stuff was in storage of April 2023 I just got my stuff out October of this year I went and got my stuff out of storage I didn't get it all out sitting my lock in my keys inside my box couldn't find it so therefore 24 hours passed by and when they open up the next day I called cuz my stuff wasn't secured and they put a lock on their for me because I have misplaced my keys that was inside my lock and I work with the people and tell them what was going on they put a lock on there I was able to retrieve my things within 24 hours when I got another truck so all my stuff was there the place is nice and clean you don't have to worry about anything far as mice rats or anything everything was Secure I love this place thank you you all I will recommend you and I will use you in the future thank you once again

The only negative experience with this storage facility was an employee that was outside (assuming on breaks?) and every time he spoke to another employee, or anyone, he was cursing during the entire interaction…..right in front of the entrance. I’m my opinion, this was super unprofessional and it happened 2 days in a row while I was clearing my unit. Not trying to be a “Karen” lol just bringing it to the forefront so that customers feel comfortable and respected at a professional business.

Other than being new to the area all is good, except for nosey staff. Always checking up on clients and when you ask a question kinda get ignored. Or when doing inventory counts and a customer is at front counter being ignored when they should stop and take care of the customer. I've been in customer service for over 30 years and never have I ignored a customer.

After driving a one-way truck rental 2000+ miles across the country, I was supposed to go another hour North. Holiday traffic was horrendous & I was beyond exhausted. I found the staff to be friendly however, I had many problems, most importantly, I feel as though I was completely over-charged with over $600 in fees for a truck rental and a storage unit. I have to go through and figure out what all the charges are for and the receipts don’t even specify so I have no way of knowing. I do know I got charged $38 for fuel when the truck was returned on 1/2 tank just as it was when I picked it up. Initially the storage unit I had was far too small and was no a drive up so that put my move behind a whole day. Also I had to come back for the dollies I rented because they forgot to load them. That also put my move behind. I had to come back up there because no one would answer the phone. I would not recommend this uhaul store.

Read in a few places it was 24/7 self storage but it’s only accessible between 7am and 10pm which really isn’t an inconvenience unless you’re trying to work through the night to move out on a deadline but it isn’t 24/7. Other than that, I’m pretty happy with it. I would recommend uhaul storage to anyone. For the climate controlled storage and the ease of access it’s well worth it.

After moving out an staff member told me he had taken care of the paper. The next day I received a call from another staff member because she did see a loxk on that unit & wanted to know did I needed it any longer. In which upset me because I set up automatic payment so it would never be late. That's the way I do business I expect for U haul to do the same.

The Flint Miller Road U-Haul has been there for me for more than a decade thru several moves and storage unit rentals. I always was treated with respect by dedicated professionals under Melissa's leadership. Actually, making a cross-country move means I no longer will be seeing these kind individuals - Melissa, Barb, David, Daryl, and others. They had become trusted friends and I will miss them. I hope the corporate office recognizes this store for what it is - unique in every positive way! Shalom.

Only issues I have is I rented the 26 foot truck and it was full and there isn't a unit the same size has the truck so I didn't have enough room I had to get a 2nd unit and the prices are high.

Thank you for being a refuge in my time of need. Please do something about the poles protecting the fire hydrant. These are not visable when backing up and are not well lit at night.

Almost all of the employees and associates who work at this facility are extremely kind and are a pleasure to engage with. It's incredible how courteous and accommodating everyone is. This is a sign of great leadership from the top down. They seem as though they're treated fairly and are fully trusted to do their job well. As they should be, because I've never seen or heard anything otherwise! Thank you for a wonderful experience. It was worth every penny and I will miss having my storage unit there. If I ever need accomodations again, this location will be my first choice and I will recommend it to anyone and everyone!! 👍😊👍

Facility was fine, service was very slow. There were 4 workers in store but only 1 person waiting on customers. I waited 30 minutes and had 2 persons that I was paying waiting to unload truck into storage. Very frustrating. When I finally was waited on guy was apologetic.
