I found the whole experience to be very easy. Did a move from the Canadian border to Los Angeles, including a U-Hual equipment transfer from Eugene Oregon. The truck ran well with plenty of power for the passes along our 1300 mile trip.

The company changed our pick up location without notifying us! This wasted a ton of our time, and made it so we couldn't finish our job in time. Ended up working til after dark and then had to take time off work the next day to drive to the further location for the return. The site rep at La Habra didn't even acknowledge that we could be correct about the pickup location on the reservation. No concern for the customer at all!! Apparently now we have to spend more time on the phone with a customer service rep. VERY poor customer service!!

So much better than my last couple of experiences at this location! The new employees were great. The only complaint I have is when I called to change my appointment time this morning they put me on hold for literally 30 minutes so I called corporate to help me.

Upon returning the truck with your new system it was EXTREMELY AWKWARD FOR ME. When I went in the next day to correct the charges and share my opinion I was initially "greeted" by a representative that had a SMART ASS attitude. When I had to wait while the Manager was busy I then found why the representative had the attitude that I was an inconvenience. Your Manager tat this location is a total ASS HOLE, putting it bluntly, as there is no other way to describe the lack of courtesy extended to your customer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE and I am a 50+ year U-Haul customer. AND, I would seriously question the management ability of a District GM that would place personnel of this type as representatives of your company. I have recently dealt with your Placentia location and it was a pleasant experience (as I have found over the years at most of your California locations) with a lady that treated us with courtesy and pleasantness.

Customer service at this location is the worst I have ever experienced. I booked my 1500+ miles one way trip months ago and had communication with the staff multiple times. yet no one at any point mentioned that I would have to load the vehicle onto the trailer by myself and off the property until the pick up day! In the frenzy pf everything, I learned of this policy. When I asked the rep was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. He simply mentioned that it was my fault to assume that they would help with loading the vehicle. I was able to do it and made the ride to my destination but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Had I beeb a person with no mechanical skills, this trip could have turned into a disaster

I made my reservation from Placentia locations, when I called to inform them I’m coming on Saturday morning, they told me that I have to go to Fullerton location, when I got there they couldn’t find my reservation because they put it under someone else’s name with my phone number, I left and I called Placentia and talked with manager Daniel . He said show them the text that I received from U hall with reservation # on it I went back again and got the truck after wasting 2 hours of my time paying 4 guys And drive extra miles that I was not supposed to do Therefore I’m very upset and will tell everyone how unprofessional everyone was yesterday and will dispute my extra mikes that I did pay .

When we came to pick up the U-Haul, the dolly was not available that we had reserved. The manager was not helpful, However another employee finally was able to help us with an alternative to the dolly we had reserved. I know it must be very stressful and busy days especially when people don’t return equipment, however the easiest solution we have been to just give us another type of dolly. Wishing you the best and a happy new year.

The gentleman that attached the trailer to my vehicle broke off the ground pin of my 7 to 4 and 5 pin wiring adapter and said nothing. He was also inept at setting up the trailer, unable to guide me back to it so my father had to step in and guide me. It took him an inordinate amount of time to hitch up. I did not know the adapter had been damaged until the next day when I dropped off and another employee was removing the trailer and handed me the broken adapter. The manager refused to make good on his employee's damage and I was forced to file a claim with UHaul insurance for the damages. Watch these guys like a hawk when they are hitching and unhitching! They have no care for your personal equipment.

The staff, Faciliteis, and equipment were fantastic My only suggestion would be to have the option of an electric winch for the trailer. We were moving a car that did not run and we had to winch the car up by hand. Thank you.

Van looked as though it was sitting under trees for a year, absolutely filthy with a build.up of soot and leaves. Also, I ordered a dolly that wasn't in the band.

Give people an idea of MPG for loaded truck. I was getting about 8 MPG. I was told by worker in Texas to expect 15 MPG. But the truck was built solidly, clean, well kept, plenty of power, easy to drive. Thanks for getting me and my family & household belongings safely from Aubrey Texas to California.

I don't even have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.
