We found the unit online but called and spoke with a rep to actually book it. At no point did she tell me the unit was 10 feet off the ground. It was not a traditional storage unit but a “locker” not at ground level. It was not described that way on the web either. When we drove 30 min to get to it and load my son’s dorm room stuff to store for the summer there was no way we could load it having to carry it up a rolling metal staircase that would not even sit flush against the wall. We were able to get a refund but we had to scramble to find another option near his out of state university. The only thing we could find was an hour in the opposite direction and nearly twice the cost.Brandon H. | Online Move In
Ask if the customers wants all those furniture pads. I had to return all but 2, I did not know they U Haul was sending them. The only bad thing about both Ocoee and the Gadsden U Haul is that i could never get anyone at U Haul to answer the Phone. a service answered the phone once and put me back on hold to find someone to help me. I never Heard from Her again. So I had to drive up to both places almost every time I needed to Speak to Them which were in the next town in both states, Alabama and Florida. Once I went and talk to a person, everyone were very Polite and Helpful. If I ever have to over again, I will be using U Haul again. Which I Hope to never have to Move again. Thank You All.rhonda K.

Using Uhaul and Ubox was the worst experience ever. We needed storage for a month so had to use Ubox to move from Birmingham to Gadsden. One box didn't make the shipment and it took at least 10 different calls and HOURS on the phone to finally find someone that knew what they were taking about. Your central scheduling had NO idea what they were talking about and then said that their supervisor was the only one that could fix our issue and she ended up being off for 4 days. FINALLY got to someone named Justin who was able to merge contract and make sure shipment was where it needed to go and lined up delivery of boxes. It is also entirely frustrating when you need the services of Uhaul, Ubox and MovingHelp. These services are offered together yet apparently each system is its own, so no one knows what's going on and will not help you. I had one person from uhaul originally help me with scheduling movinghelp, but then when I called to schedule movinghelp for unloading, I kept getting everyone saying that I needed to go online and do it because they had no access and couldn't do it (even though I had just previously had someone do it for me on the phone). Your customer service is AWFUL and I would NEVER recommend you to anyone. When you call to speak to someone at Uhaul, you stay on hold forever before anyone will even pick up. THANK GOODNESS the movers that we booked through Movinghelp were great because I don't know if I could have handled any more stress than what I already experienced through Uhaul. If PODS were offered in this area, I would have cancelled everything at the beginning and used them because our experience was awful from start to finish (except for the 3 people who I happened upon that tried to help as they could) and the movers with Movinghelp.CARCIE G.

Trying to get a live Person on the phone at either of the U-Haul Stes was just about Impossible. Waited for a Rep for more than 30 mins. every time, I finally had to go up to the place in Person in Florida and in Alabama. but People were very nice once you talk to them.rhonda K.

The company's phone system needs some serious improvements. I called every number I could find online, both local & toll free. I remained on hold for 30-45 minutes each time. When I was finally able to talk to someone they told me they thought this issue had been fixed...it's not. So annoying. This was beyond the location's control. It appears to be a company wide phone system issue. Other than this, everything went well.PENNY D.

The meter on the CSR app was different from what my initial paperwork, resulting in my putting more gas than I originally had. In the end, I was out of money. The CSR tried to help, however, I feel as though it still did not compensate the amount of the extra gas I put in the uhaul based upon what she stated was needed.THERESA R.

I was renting a indoor climate control storage unit with the recommended insurance. When I went to clean out the unit my wooden furniture had mold on it, there were two traps but in the unit by staffers for pest control.
