There was tons of water inside the box when we arrived. Also, I called Uhaul 1 week before we needed to access the box to confirm the date and time we needed it ready. I called again the day before to ensure they would have it ready. When we arrived at the date and time, they did not have the box ready for access. We had to wait over an hour for them to get it out. The staff on site was not friendly either. Absolutely would not recommend this location for punctuality and would never use the wooden box again.

The rental quote I got from the website was not what the location tried to charge me. The reservation in their system was ~2x the price of my quote. I showed the GM the reservation quote in the app on my phone, and he was able to get the price close, but I still paid more; I don't think I got the discount for drop-off at the recommended place. He said he had seen this happen to other customers recently, where their view of the reservation and what the customer was quoted were very different. This is disappointing and as a customer it feels scammy.

New employees or a way to do self check in without needing the employees to get the keys. The two women working there have no sense of urgency. It took me 22 mins to give them my license and get the keys. And I was the only one there. After that I still had to take all the pics of the truck as I have done for self check in. Other locations I have taken all my own pictures and the key was just in the back of the truck -- not this location. I went there on other time before and it also took forever. Both times customer service called me the day before to change the pickup location but if that happens with my next rental I'll just cancel the reservation rather than accept that change and I'll use a different company instead. That location really is that bad.

Uhaul cancelled my order 3 times without letting me know. When I would ask for my shipment to be rescheduled, the person on the phone would put in a request in the system, but never actually follow through with scheduling it. They did not uphold the guaranteed delivery dates.

On returning equipment in a different location, I was getting emails of the equipment was not returned, I didn't like having to go back, and doing the leg work of providing the equipment WAS RETURNED!

I want a refund. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a rental company. The staff was not well-trained. I had asked if the trailer was ready for pickup I was told it was. Upon arriving, my husband was sent to a second U-Haul, this location did not have a trailer ready for pick-up.

The young lady that serviced me forgot to secure the straps for the trailer I was towing for your Equipment Distribution service, and I had to suddenly pull over and was almost hit by a car. I had to go back and find one of the straps in the middle of the highway as I didn't want to get charged for the strap. The other strap was wrapped around the trailer and axle and could have created a real problem for me on the expressway. In addition, the 15ft truck I rent had the rubber seal for the door frame fall off multiple times and my 6 hour drive was full of air noise going through the door frame even though I stopped 3X to fix the seal and finally gave up. I also had water drip all over me during 3 separate rain storms as the seal was on the floor. Finally, the driver seat had a huge hole ( 4 inches by 4 inches) with missing cushion, etc. It was a terrible experience. I filed a customer service complaiont, and I hope someone contacts me and rectifies the situation. Thank you.

I did not request moving blankets or a dolly as I didn't need them. When I was picked the truck up there were moving pads in it, secured with a green ziptie so that if you needed them you would have them. There was no dolly in the truck. When I returned the truck after hours via the app check-in, I selected "No" that I didn't use the dolly or pads, but I was charged for 2 days use of both on my receipt. It took 3 phone calls on 3 consecutive days and at least an hour of my time counting all the time that I was placed on holds to finally get my refund of the charges. I was promised on both the first and second phone calls that the manager would take care of it within an hour and I would get a receipt, but neither time did that happen. The third call was answered by the manager and she didn't seem to have any knowledge of the prior calls but did manage to get the refund processed after about 10 minutes.

I don't remember seeing (it's not clear enough or there is no information att all) saying that the reservation must be in the name of the person driving. I reserved in my name for a friend to drive and I got lucky that there was still people on the customer office to change my reservation.

When my son went to check in, the outdoor storage room he was ssigned was full of spiders. (we live in Florida and extermination is a known need) He was told nothing else was available and he had to pay $50 more per month for an interior room which had no spiders. We reserved this room months in advance and he was moving out of his apartment the next day and had to have storage. Isn’t U-Haul responsible for exterminating bugs before renting outside spaces? The next day we came at 7am (Sunday) for an early truck rental using the U-Haul app. The App said there was an error. I called U-Haul call center and was told the Gainesville location had failed to set up early for an early rental via app and the truck keys were not in proper place for my online rental. Call center told me to come back at 9am when office opened. Live 30 minutes from location so had to wait and waste 1.5 hours. When we checked in at 9am THERE WAS NO APOLOGY! THIS 1.5-hour delay MADE US ARRIVE BACK AT COLLEGE APRTMENTS AT 9:3O INSTEAD OF 7:30 AND THUS WE HAD TO PARK FAR AWAY FROM APARTMENT DOORS AND MAKE MANY LONG HAULS OF ITEMS TO THE TRUCK. I have used U-Haul (although not this Gainesville location) many times with great service. The issue is this Gainesville location and the damage they are doing to the U-Haul brand with their “take it or leave it and stop bothering me” attitude. Given this DOUBLE brand service quality issue – let’s see what U-Haul corporate has to say about how seriously they stand by their brand promises.

When we first went to the desk and ask for uhaul the lady sitting there clearly said she doesn’t ve any uhaul at all. Before we leave we checked in the app and there you go they do have uhaul but the lady name tiya clearly dint want to help us so we reserved it online n approched her about reservation. We dint tell her nothing CZ clearly she dint want to help before, but yeah horrible customer service never going back to the place

You could start by giving your exact price or make it a policy to have trucks checked before they allow the customer to leave I brought my uhaul back put more gas then was in it when I got it guy comes in said your good to go few days later I'm getting emails saying I have a balance of $16 it's not the money it's the point if I known this upon bring rental back I would of got paid then
