This comment is directed to the 800 support number: Your wait times to speak to an agent are UNACCEPTABLE Last time (September 26th) I rented a trailer I waited on hold for 60 minutes before an agent answered my call - and once the agent answered the call and got a roadside assistance ticket created it took another 3 hours to get the tire repaired - and I was only 7 miles from the capital of Idaho (Boise) Last night I had problems checking in online as I returned the vehicle after closing - and gave up after 10 minutes of being on hold as I expected another hour of waiting in 20 degree weather This needs to be addressed! No one could point out key features of the vehicle. For example it had a manual/automatic transmission which no one explained. There was also a haul mode which was not explained for proper use of the vehicle.

Not impressed with the trucks or the processes here. The truck had an oil leak and the front end had a lot of slack in it. They don't require or keep the trucks full of fuel which is pure laziness with the management at this location. It is also a ripoff because it gives them this grey area to overcharge you for fuel. When I picked up the truck, it had a 1/3 of a tank. I drove the van 25 miles and the website says the truck gets 10 mpg. My math comes out to needing to put 2.5 gallons back in there. I put 4 gallons of fuel in the truck before returning it and they still charged me for fuel because the gauge according to them wasn't back at 1/3 of tank. If you rent the trucks with a full tank, the customer has to bring it back with a full tank. Easy-no more guesswork or grey area. Also, don't bring the truck back late. I was less than an hour late and they charged me a full 2nd day. Go to Budget Truck, Enterprise, etc. Don't use Uhaul.

Wear masks Require customers to wear masks Provide a truck with nothing in the back allowing me full control of the load. That hand truck and packing blankets are in the way and add no value to me.

Our pick up experience was horrible. We were directed a different location for pick up (Jiffy Lube). When we arrived at the new location they didn't have the number of blankets we reserved available and then couldn't find the keys to the truck. We then had to travel to yet a different location to pick up the truck. This was a horrendous experience.

20 ft. Truck seat and angle not adjustable for 6 ft. man.very cramping!!!. And tiring at just an hour in 4 hour drive destination. Steering was not adjustable angle either to match shoulders. The 20 ft truck is no match of excellence to the 26 ft truck used a few days before.!!!

I called twice to set up a time to get my truck wired and both customer service men told me that I didn't need to but then when I came to pick up the trailer, I was told I needed wiring. I ended up leaving and hour and a half later than planned because I had to get wiring done and I waited there the whole time. No offer of a discount or anything was offered to me for the miscommunication and for me having to wait. I would not recommend Uhaul because I felt like it was poor customer service.

Be sure you confirm your expected return time before you are charged another days' rental fee. We rented for one night & two days: took it to Sun Valley to move our son. We couldn't get it back before Sunday night at 5: my husband was told we could turn it in Monday morning for no extra fee. We had it unloaded & over to U-haul on Monday by 8:30 am, but we were charged an extra day's rental fee of $24 as the cut-off for turn in time was 7:00 am. We were not advised of a return time frame in person, online or in the contract that we found so were surprised & disappointed to be charged an extra day. Had we have known prior we would've turned it in sooner or kept it for an extra day & used it to haul things to the dump.

I went to this Uhaul store after making an online reservation for a dolly. On arrival a young man, with short blond spiky hair told me he would assist me. I was attached to a dolly and the brake light did not work. He said it was my fuse for the trailer as all my truck lights worked. I looked, this took quite awhile as my truck has two fuse boxes, and they were ok. I called the young man back over and explained what I had found. So we tried a second dolly and the brake light did not work again. He said it must be my wiring. I climbed under my truck in the hot Boise sun on a gravel driveway and looked for 1/2 hour and found nothing. I was now 1.5 hours into the pick up process. While I was under the truck a different employee came over in a Uhaul truck, attached to the second dolly we had tried, and the brake light did not work on his truck either. He had an LED test plug that he plugged into my truck and all LED lights lit up. My truck was fine. Both the first and second dolly we tried had bad lights. This employee then left me to figure out what to do next. There was a third dolly about 30 feet away. By myself, still in the hot Boise sun, now dirty and filthy from the first two dolly's, checking all my fuses, and laying on the dirt checking my wiring, I wheeled the dolly over and plugged it into my truck. ALL THE LIGHTS WORKED. It was never my truck. the fuses or the wiring as I had been told. Still with no one around, I hooked up the third dolly, plugged it in, and secured it with the chains and drove to the check out office. I asked to speak with the young, blond spiky hair employee that has originally helped me, gave me false information, and did not check his equipment for fault or check my hitch with a test plug, and wasted now two hours of my time, and was told he was unavailable. I assume that they had figured out he screwed up and did not want me talking to him. Filthy, hot, sweaty and tired two hours later, I left with my dolly. NEVER USE THIS UHAUL PROVIDER.

There were 3 trucks on the site for rent. They assigned me the one that was boxed in. I had to wait for them to move it. The truck stunk badly of cigarettes. There were no masks worn and no social distancing from the staff. Very disappointed in that.

Lower price on transport trailer so one does not have to pay for days unused. Proceed now is called,double dipping and is usurist. I am checking with the legality thru the BBB and state attorney general.

Rented equipment according to the records we returned it 12 min late and got charged a whole other day. There should be some wiggle room as we were waiting in the parking lot for awhile trying to figure out where we needed to go.

When I picked up my truck it was 1/2 full of gas and I had to tell them because they wrote it down has being full! The windows were very dirty and I had to ask them to clean them! To top it off when I got in the truck it was dirty too and someone's piece of a fingernail was on the seat! Obviously nothing was cleaned or SANITIZED FOR COVID!! VERY DISAPPOINTED 😞THE TRUCK DID RUN great and it was nice to drive! When I dropped it off they were so friendly and helpful a much better experience! Sincerely, Vickey Davis

It is imperative during a pandemic that people wear masks. Unfortunately this location doesn't think it's necessary as all but 2 employees we wearing masks. Disappointing and definitely not a sign of respect for your customers.

I received an e-mail from them for $20 charge for an after hours drop off charge. There was no metion of a after hours fee just to return it 24 hours a day to the location. why am I getting charged this fee?

Nothing. Check-in was quick. Someone hooked the trailer up for me and checked the lighting. When I returned the trailer, someone was right there before I could even get out of my truck and helped me unhook. He checked me out right there and I drove away. Quick, painless, and efficient.

While speaking to more then 3 people I kept getting different information on my Uboxs. First 2 did not know how to look up when my payment was coming out. The third person told me that I didn't have to pay for it till I went and picked it up. 2 days later I was charged a week earlier then the u-boxes were supposed to arrive which ended in overdrafting my account. When I called to see if they could revirse I was transferred 3 times. Where no one could help. By the end they transferred me to the first person I talked to. All and all being told we can't help you.

The unit was an old pull trailer which was fine for the things I have to store. However, it leaked on more than one spot. The clicker that I was given didn't work so I got stuck inside the gate. I feel that it is the employees job to ensure that the clicker is working before sending to customer out to figure it out on their own.
