I have always had a great experience at this location. Fast and courteous service. This drop off was horrible. There was only one staff member who had very poor customer service skills. I pulled up to return my trailer and there was a truck that had been returned. It was obviously left there and checked back in as the customer was no longer there. We waited behind that truck for at least 10-15 mins watching the one staff member walk in and out of the building, go in and out of the truck and took her time cleaning it. I finally went inside to look for another staff member to just find a customer sitting in there waiting. He had been there longer than me and stated he hadn't seen anyone even in the building. So I went back out to the woman working who at that point was swiffering off mud from the step rails of the truck. I asked if there was anyone else available as I just wanted to return my trailer. She was very rude and told me to just unhook it and leave. I didn't feel comfortable just leaving the trailer and asked her to check the trailer back in while I was still there. Which she did do after driving the truck away. I understand the need to clean up the returning vehicles, but customer service should be a priority and cleaning a returned vehicle is something that can be done after the people who are there in front of you are taken care of.

It was very busy at both pickup and drop off. Representative was working hard. Unfortunately, I witnessed your representative take a lot of abuse from another customer that was irate that there was a line. Granted, for the amount of business, there should have been at least one other representative, but that angry customers actions were out of line.

The U-Haul Drop-up experience takes way too long. A sign at the entrance said to wait in the vehicle so we did. After ~10 minutes no one came out so I went inside. Only one customer was ahead of me in line but his issues persisted for at least another 20 minutes. There was only one representative on duty so O found no other option that to disconnect the trailer myself. It seems like the drop-off process needs to be streamlined or more staff provided.

Had to pickup a Jeep I bought. Rented a car trailer that worked perfectly, nice piece of equipment! Helpful staff that hooked it up and checked it all out. Great experience, will use it again, no need to buy a trailer when you can rent one at a fair price.

We had a death in the family, and made the reservation online, thinking this woud be cheaper to rent the truck round trip. This turned out more expensive, and when picking up the truck one of us mentioned this may have been cheaper going one way. The service person never offered to discuss with us the rates, and the best way for us to do this. We spent so much money on mileage, and this probably could have been done one way. Otherwise, everything was great. I think servicing the customer in understanding the rates and best choices should be more invested in by Uhaul.

Terrible very unclear pricing advertised as a cheap moving option that even on the smaller trucks ends up being hundreds of dollars and you are better off borrowing a friends truck or utilizing your own means.

The two salespeople were very friendly and helpful. The van I secured was very clean and there was a full tank of gas in it. The van was perfect for what I used it for. If I ever need a moving van/truck I would definitely go back and do business at this establishment! Very satisfied costumer!!

Change the cleaner you use inside the vehicles. The smell is so strong and it made me physically sick. The roadside assistance was amazing. The ability to report the problem and get help right in the app was amazing.

I hate how I call before hand ask the price they say it’s one thing which was 19$ and some change plus 1$ a mile and the price wouldn’t change then I show up and there’s all this other mandatory fee for insurance and what not that I understood fully but I would’ve like to be aware expectually if I only had so much cash

I went here a couple of times to rent. I also had a a tow hitch installed, but they couldn’t put the electric in and then I rented a U-Haul today or yesterday and I spent $35 in cleaning materials to scrub the back of the U-Haul, which I scrubbed it really well And I was charged a $25 fee which I think it’s ridiculous because I did clean

I would not hesitate to use this storage facility in the future. My home contents were stored for 9 months and were in great condition the day we moved out - just as when we placed there. Norm was courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you for taking such good care of our belongings.

The temperature controlled wasn't adequate, the light sensors were split so that I need to trigger two different banks for good.lighting in my unit. The facility garte entry remote hadnt work for me at all. Always had to put in pin number. Have moved to a newer and better maintained UHaul facility. My items were secured with my own personnel locks, but was forced to purchase new locks that were specific type that this facility said were a requirement by uhaul. The security gate was not always closed and several times had malfunctions diluting my 3 plus years with them.

Horrible customer service and relations. I was a week late consistently due to economy and financial struggles unfortunately but not once was I given a break, everytime I was hit with unreasonable late fees and borderline threats to lose my stuff, a lien notice multiple times, I wasnt even a month late. Staff wasnt approachable in office, rude and eating chips or takeout getting crumbs all over the counter. Seems like a business thats going underwater and the customers feel it, like kmart or blockbuster on their last leg vibes. Never again, and ill be telling people to rent storage local, never uhaul. And the policy that you have to pay in full or not at all is ridiculous. I came in once to make a partial payment to catch up and I was denied, like I owed money to a las vegas loan shark or something, payment in full or leave. What a joke

I was a renter at this facility for a long time. Glen then Norm we’re the managers during that time. I’ve alway felt that my storage at UHaul was my warehouse and the staff has always been courteous and helpful. No negs. All great to excellent. It was time for me to move closer to where I live.

Don’t take #4 too generally. Most staff over the years have been very helpful. However during my close out, I did not have as positive experience. I was asked to sweep the unit and was directed to where I could get a broom. After going back to my unit, sweeping and returning to office, I advised that there was no trash cans anywhere near my unit. I was told that I could have taken a dustpan as well as broom, but that would not be helpful without someplace to empty it. I suggested that if expectations are for unit to be cleaned, more convenient tools should be provided. Note, my unit is an interior one and while outdoor units could be just swept out and never be noticed, that’s not true for interior ones. This suggestion was not taken in a.receptive manner.

Uhaul did not close out my account after an inspection on February 26th. Uhaul proceeded to charge card on file. I made a phone call to management who acknowledged the mistake and promised refund to card within five business days. Amex dud not refund and charged again for April directly to Amex. I called Norm who said he would take it up with Albany and return call. No call. I have contacted moving made easy which will provide evidence of February 25th move out. American Express will deal with this ultimately. Never again uhaul.

This facilty and Mr. Norman Rivers are superb!!! Norman assisted me when my mom passed 4-years ago. The unit was safe, clean and heated. The staff were pleasant every time I was at the facility: professional, timely, considerate, and knowledgeable. Norman, again, promptlly assisted me when I arrived yesterday to complete unload ing the unit and rented a UHAUL for the goods to come to Buffalo. Thank you for a fine experience in the storage unit 331 and in renting trucks from the facility.

I rented a climate controlled unit expecting just that. However, a sign inside the building says the temperature will not go below 45F. There is no air conditioning and the thermometer next to the sign was reading 85F. Clearly climate controlled means not freezing but no concern about heat and humidity

I got a brand new truck with 200 miles on it. The car dolly worked great when strapped down correctly. I even got a free month of storage for traveling one way. Low speeds are the key to towing a car.
