There are a lot of bad reviews on Google for this location. I read them after placing the order. I considered cancelling my order but went ahead with it. Everything went fine. The people were competent, efficient, and easy to work with. The young lady who handled my return was very pleasant and did a good job unhitching the trailer and securing the cord on my car. Worst experience. I reserved the unit at Bob scott RV. Called the day before to confirm availability and time of pickup. When I arrived to pick up the truck it had been down for mechanical failure all week. They should have checked when I called. I had to drive across town to get the truck and it cost me several hours and more money. When I came to drop it off the only nice person was the guy that checked it in. The other employee was rude. I highly doubt I will ever use uhaul again.Chris H.

Main difficulty was in waiting 25 minutes to meet with the solo employee getting people connected to their trucks. Needed more employees. One person can't wait on people calling on the phone, waiting in the store. He also was doing trailer hook ups. A set up for failure.Catherine Ann O.

Overall, my experience with U-Haul was positive. Unfortunately, on Monday October 3rd, 2022, I received a phone call from a woman that works for the local U-Haul office, this woman was very rude to me and was very demanding that I return the truck immediately. I explained to her that I had already informed U-Haul when I made the original agreement that I may not be able to have the Truck back in 3 days and I would be willing to pay any additional daily cost that was needed. in response she very rudely demanded that I must have the truck back by Friday at 8:30am or else. In all my years this was one of the rudest experiences that I have had with anyone in customer relations. I just hope that no one else would have to deal with an individual that was as rude as this individual was.August S.

I would recommend, but only because it's convenient to where I live. While I was being checked in, two guys in the back were talking loudly and flinging the F bomb like it was normal. Very unprofessional.Lindsey B.
Have the correct equipment that was rented on hand. I rented the truck from surprise location so I wouldn't have trouble in grand junction. When I went to pick up the truck they told me I had to pay there not in surprise which would be ok but the credit card system wasn't working correctly so I had to spend an hour at the location getting it rented. This was the whole reason I went to the location in surprise to rent the truck so I wouldn't have to do anything but pick up the truck in junction. The check engine light was on in the truck but I couldn't do anything about it because there were no replacements there anyway. The fact that it was a larger truck than I rented also made me spend more in fuel as wellJAMES H.

Don't lose your key and use your own bolt cutters to cut off. I caused no damage I am a licensed contractor in Colorado and if hiring a lock smith is what they wanted who's to say I don't locksmith can locksmith or insured with a higher level of insurance than a locksmith. I was toldby the representative to return the truck with the same amount of fuel as I left with, which he pointed out was barely an 1/8th of a tank. Then when I returned the truck I was told on the Uhaul app that it needed to have a minimum of a 1/4 tank or else I had to pay a fee. I clicked the dispute button and I just got charged a fee today. I do not agree with this because I did exactly as I was told by the representative. I am also upset that they changed my pick up location to a town further away and didn't give any compensation for it.Justin C.

Very rude and poor customer service. I was getting phone calls and messages asking me when I was moving into my paid for unit. I called to explain my situation and was told I needed to move into it before someone else did...? Who moves their stuff into strange units and it should show as rented in their system so it shouldn't be rented twice...? It's "employee owned" apparently but I was told they would continue to harass me until I moved in. I closed my unit...I have enough going on in life then to be harrassed by some crazies at some storage place over my paid for unit. I bet they get real rude and aggressive with you if you're a day late but to be harrassed over a unit that is paid up is BS. The facility advertised access to the unit until 10pm. I showed up at 7 pm last night and couldn't get in. Multiple other people stopped by in the 2 hours I was waiting and they were also upset they couldn't get in. I need to drop things off at 7 tonight and the office told me I wouldnt be able to get in and there is nothing they can do. I have had my money scammed away and am a full time college student and full time worker. I have to sleep in my car until I can get my money back from the man that scammed me. I will not be able to sleep in my car and will have no place to sleep tonight unless I can put my things in the storage unit. I have one complaint. I move from one state to another. Rented a uhaul and a storage unit. When we got to the destination to unpack the uhaul, the storage we rented was not available. They only had one other storage available for 50 more. So we had no choice but to get it. They would discount the storage unit to the reserved price which I thought was bad business. On more than one occasion I encountered homeless persons hanging out at the UHaul location where I have rented 2 storage units. Not only were they hanging out outside the UHaul storage units, they were going in and out of a unit in which it seemed that multiple males were living in the unit. All of which makes me extremely uncomfortable to continue to rent my units for multiple reasons. First, I usually visit my units alone bringing safety to the fore front of my concern. I reserved a unit online for longs park facility with 24 hour access, but when I went to office to get set up I was told there were no 10x10 units available at that location. When I went to the office to sort it out, the staff member was exceptionally rude because it was “close to closing.” He gave a another unit, across town, that turned out to also already be occupied.
