Well it started off great until they had a new fella in training, which is great! Except the fact that his mentor was paying zero attention to him whats so ever. Therefore leaving him not knowing what to do as it was his first customer experience. Therefore the young lad had messed up on the paper work leading me to end up having an unpleasant phone call with one of your representatives. That day I was charged $231.84 and the representative stated everything was done correct and paid for, for my requested kilometers and day rate. And id be receiving my deposit back upon return. After dropping the unit off and all was well and looked over, they told me we were all squared up and I was good to go! Then the next day I received a call saying I owed another $137 ontop of the $231.84 i had just payed. That being said they told me i had no choice and I needed to come in and pay that extra amount ontop of what I already payed which would make the total $368.84, for a rental YOU ADVERTISE at $19.95 per day. Ill add ive also not seen my deposit back, and I DID INFACT return it in perfect operation and condition with the fuel level brought back to where it was given. Absolutely ridiculous way of doing business. You have a super UNHAPPY customer, I will not be returning and I will be SURE to share my experience with everyone I know and all my employees at my company that use your service and be sure to tell them to avoid this location at all costs.

I was assisted by Jeriah, and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable — he recommended the right moving equipment and suggested renting a storage unit.
Roman ZI have high standards, and in a world where businesses try to charge top dollar for minimal effort, it is truly refreshing to see a facility like this one, that is clean, organized, and professional, for a fair price. You can tell that much forethought went into the design of this indoor, heated storage facility, and it caters beautifully to the needs of its target customers. I absolutely love this place, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

clayton t | Overall ExperienceI stopped in just as U Haul was opening in April I left my cc number and requested a space close to the front doors this didn’t happen. The space I had to rent was a long walk and way from the front entrance. I stopped into Uhaul a couple of days before move in on June 1 to pick my spot I was told to do this by staff when I arrived to check in on June 1 the spot I had reserved and picked out was rented by someone else. The staff member told me I couldn’t speak to any managers no management on site. Next up before I checked in my cc was charged for someone else’s rental this charge was reversed. Next mistake I was double charged in July for my space to get this rectified it took multiple stops at the location. It has now been fixed. Next thing I was denied one month free rental it is advertised that if you rent a space and use a truck you get one month free rental. I didn’t receive this because my rental started in June I rented the truck in July. Nice concept by I wouldn’t be able to recommend this business just too many mistakes.

Russell L | Overall ExperienceGrande prairie location and staff were excellent, friendly, professional and quick. Truck and trailer were good. Now returning the truck and trailer was a nightmare. Wouldn’t let me return it in Strathmore, no room was the reason. Drove a half hour and 40 km to the first drop location. Extremely poor signage, just a bunch of shops in a truck yard. When we did find the correct shop we were told on the phone to go away they were full, don’t talk to me and then hung up on. There were no uhauls anywhere in the yard, just a repair shop run by a bunch of extremely rude new Canadians. Ended up having to call customer service to get a second drop location another 30 km and a half hour drive through Calgary. The gentleman at the second location was good to deal with, friendly and efficent. He was very happy I could back the trailer into the spot he wanted. Thankfully I was given some extra time and Km’s to get the truck returned even though there was an extra $40 fee added for an extra day that was waived at check in. Must say the road into the location was a km of washboard nightmare. Very satisfied initially but the return process that took almost 3 extra hours of phone calls and driving around was a disaster. Please remove the initial location from your return system.

Leverne JHire skilled people. Issue 1, was on hold for 20 minutes, drove over to location, counter staff talking with friends, to busy to answer phone. Issue 2, I said i need a trailer today, and asked do you have trailers? Agent said yes. So i said i would like to rent one. Agent we dont have any today. Went around 3 times, before i got and answer on what was available. ??? Issue 3, Went out to look at the trailers, was shown one, agent said we have this one. However the wiring is bad so you cant rent it. Will show it to me. Issue 4. Ended up renting a 5 X 9. The trailer is only 50 inches wide on inside, a long way from 5 ft or 60 inches. ended up damaging my load due to the size being understated. Even the outside dimensions were no close to 60 inches. This seems to border on inaccurate advertising
David RThe guy who I dealt with at this location was absolutely amazing! Was super efficient but also hilarious. I was jot happy to be needing a car dolly but this guy made it worth it! I didn't catch his name but he was fantastic.

Andrew CMy pick-up time was set for 6am, I received a confirmation call the day prior to verify that it would be ready. When I arrived to pick it up at 5:50am there was no unit assigned/ready for mobile pick-up. I was told I had to wait until the store opened. I was help back on time due to negligence on the companies part. I believe I should have recieved a slightly lower rate due to the inconvenience. If I were to have dropped it off late you would not hesitate to charge me for it. So how is it right that due to the company not being ready BUT verifying that it would be the day before. That nothing comes out of it.
Scott MThe rental was perfect. The only imporovement would be to be more precise when indicating what the fuel level actually is on the paperwork. The fuel level was 1/8 th of a tank lower on the indicator than was stated on the paperwork. Not a big deal as i filled the tank to the requested level when i returned it.

I have been renting from U-Haul for years and these two exhibited a High example of customer service at its finest! It is not every day you find kindness and exemplary customer service like that with such knowledgeable professionalism! They took the time to show me how to utilize the storage unit properly, and they took the time to go over the truck with me in detail. It was an excellent experience and I will highly recommend this experience to everyone in the future with these two in particular as such great customer service Representatives! Kristopher MReserved a 26 foot truck over a week in advance and the day before the move they texted me they only had a 20 foot truck available. This shortage of footage made the move rather difficult and overloaded our pickups! Also……this location needs to get their debit/credit card machines in proper working order!!

Corporate uhaul had delayed and messed up our ubox delivery after an across country move, so we were very stressed. The Grande Prairie uhaul staff did absolutely everything in their power to help us, between helping us schedule a local delivery using a truck and trailer, answering the ten million questions we had, and then helping us coordinate a ubox to storage unit transfer. We appreciate their help so, so much, and highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Arthur SMy only issue , is they took $100 deposit and only returned $34 dollars . I do not know why and nobody could explain why. The truck had fuel and clean when returned . So I’m actually upset about that because moving to a new city is exspensive.

Timothy MBetter traffic flow for returns. I pulled in with the 16’ truck and car trailer with no where to go because there was 1 person who received their rental truck sitting in the parking lot in the way of the returns area. And personal vehicle parked up ahead. The associate asked me to back up the vehicle and trailer and park it for him in a different area. I returned the rentals a day early, but the invoice I received does not reflect that. I will have to contact customer service in the morning.

FLOORS are DISGUSTINGLY dirty and need sweeping, mopping and buffing. Doors didnt work. Worker PRIED them open to get in. Truck i rented was DIRTY. Making my items dirty. (Refunded me a portion of rental.) Not sure eho is manahi g hhis place, byt needs to be fired and replaced with someone who can actually run and CLEAN this place up. There were 5 People (3 men, 2 women) when i was checking out...why werent some of them cleaning instead of all listening to my business at the counter? It does not inspire confidence that my items are going to be safe. Would not reccomend this place to anyone as is currently.
