Some service center lady called and said they did not have the trailer I reserved. Totally worthless at problem solving, we got into it and she cancelled my reservation. Had to start over, she needs to be fired.

Poor Customer service, unwilling to assist me as a customer, lack of understanding for me as a customer, unsupportive and reasonable, liers, wont help in unfair charge on my account because they felt it was not their responsibility to inform me of the fees, and just an all around poor attitude. I hated my service and experience at this location and may not use uhaul again.

I would never go back to this location again. In fact, I cancelled my contract with this location and went to another. The ineptness of this facility cost me two days of rental, a day in a hotel, three hitches, and a delay of a day leaving Great Falls prior to a freak snow storm. Not only was the 6 x 12 too large for my Subaru, but I had to replace the hitch three times before I could actually tow a trailer - which the facility charged me for. I only learned about the hitch problem after I had already loaded the trailer and the whole hitch was on the ground. When I went back to the U Haul with photos of the problem, I begged for them to help me as I was stuck in my Mother's driveway with no way to bring the trailer back. One employee took pity on me and brought a jack to lift the hitch so we could unload the trailer, but he was reprimanded by the Manager for helping me at all. The hitch that the employee brought did not fit so he could not do any more than jack up the trailer from my car and leave it on a jack. When I went back to the facility with him, the one other employee had no idea why it would not fit. I stood there for nearly two hours while he helped other customers waiting for him to try to figure it out. It was nearly closing when the Manager from the other facility across town stopped by to get some equipment. The employees there asked him to help me (even though it was not his facility) because they had no idea what to do. He was able to figure out I needed an extension, pulled the parts I needed and even paid for them. If he hadn't shown up, I would still be in Great Falls, stuck in my Mother's driveway. The location is severely understaffed and the staff there do not know what they are doing, including the Manager. The Manager was the one who recommended the trailer and who hooked up the trailer that she had no idea was too big and she also installed the wrong hitch for my car. When I finally unloaded the trailer and brought it back to the facility, the Manager did not ever apologize. Instead she said the specs said that my Subaru had the capacity, so it wasn't her problem if that wasn't the case, and she had no idea what hitch I would need. Instead of apologizing, she said her employee never should have helped me, and it wasn't their problem. That is when I told her I had no trust in her facility. She then charged me for two days even though I told her that the only reason I had it for two days was because the trailer and hitch were wrong. She just stared at me and said there was nothing she could do. I was in Great Falls because my father had died. I had to move my mother into an Assisted Living facility and get her house ready for the market. I was beyond distraught and was hoping for assistance. If it wasn't for the Manager at the other facility, I would never use U Haul again. He reduced his price to assist me and he got me on the road in record time. I owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

I was told I made my reservation at the wrong location, and that location did not have the size truck I needed. I was told to drive clear across town to the other location. When I got there I was told the first location did have the right size and was told to drive back across town. I was given the correct truck after I drove back to the original location. This all took an hour, which put I was behind schedule.

The person opening the store was one hour late, consequently, my entire day was an hour late. In addition to being late the person who opened the store failed to apologize and had a surly attitude during the sign-in process. I was not offered anything in terms of discounts for the hour I spent waiting for the store to open.

The UHaul.com/shares app failed to recognie our location. We were at the correct return location at 1804 MST (1 hour after the posted business closure time) and the software would not allow us to return the equipment. Despite trying on two different cell phone's and a tablet we still couldn't return our equipment. Not happy as this cost me extra mileage and fuel, not to mention wasted time. Will not be using you again. Ever.

My experience was beyond acceptable. I rented a 20 ft. U Haul. I asked if they would give me a lesson driving the U Haul because I have never driven such a large truck. They declined. They could of drove me around the parking lot so that I got the feel for the truck. I then loaded the truck and on our way out of town the truck wasn't driving right. I stopped at a gas station to fill up and noticed four bald tires. I went to U Haul to let them know they had no business allowing this truck on the road. The wind shield wipers didn't work and the right side mirrors didn't work. The wind blew it back in toward the truck letting me see only the side of the truck. Also the inside of the truck was not clean still had dog hair in the seats, the inside of the windshild was covered in nicotine, I had to clean it 4 times in order to see out it, I talked with Tammy the manager and she said they couldn't do anything that I had to call road side service and gave us 2 extra days. Road side service referred me to Tire Rama who stated this truck was a danger on the road. The tread was a negative one on tread. The manager wrote me a letter stating this truck was a danger to be on the road especially driving over 1,000 miles in a middle of a heat wave going to Az. If I didn't notice these bald tires it would of put me, my friend, our belongings and other peoples life in danger. I went to talk to Tammy the manager to call corporate about this issue and she said she didn't have the number that I would have to look the number up myself. I called Terry at corporate and he never called me back. I am very disappointed in U Haul and my experience. U Haul's job is to check these trucks and the condition of them before they go on the road. Someone is NOT doing their job. I will NEVER use U Haul again and let everyone know of my experience. So if you are going to be renting a moving truck, I would suggest that you check to see if you have any options besides u-haul in your area to go with. I personally will be taking them to small claims court. For incompetence, negligence, endangerment. As they feel giving me 2 extra days, and replacing tires was all they need to do.. what if I had not noticed, that there were all 4 back tires were beyond bald, and had no bussiness being on the road. Compleat bull----. Someone needs to be fired. I put the trust that they are renting me a veichal, that will get me from point a to b . And they put my life and anyone who may have been around me on the road in danger. BEWARE.. U-Haul is unsafe...
