They need to check the weather striping around there doors. Because driving for long periods and the air coming in the cab whistling is very hard to concentrate on your driving and hard to hear for any problems. Other wise everything was good.fay L.

The scanning of my DL didn't work on my phone which then took longer than I wanted. But the worst was trying to accept or reject each side of the truck. One side had a ding, I didn't want to be responsible for, but the picture would not upload. I wasted 45 min waiting for a call back and getting the picture emailed to the agent. I'm not one to leave reviews typically but feel that this could benefit the public/uhaul. Our reservation for a 20' truck was set about a week in advance. Chris called continuously just to make sure we were still good to go, he even gave a courtesy call the day ahead to confirm the appointment for the following day at noon. When we showed up to the location, Sam, who was working the front desk gave us some line about how we weren't going to have a truck until 5:00 PM and how he was going to â€œsee what he could doâ€ to get us a truck. He was extremely unprofessional to both us and the other uhaul employees working around him. Not impressed. I'm still not sure if he was screwing with us or if the reservation was actually recorded improperly, but I doubt that as Chris, who set it up was very competent and helpful. Sam gave us the key to the truck and told us where the ID number for the truck was so that we could find it. Then he told us where he thought the truck was in the lot, which ended up being on the other side of the lot from where the truck was actually located? (We found it ourselves via the ID number) Upon getting into the truck, I noticed a strong cigarette smell, is smoking in rental trucks still a thing? There was dried coffee or soda in all the cup holders and the steering wheel was really sticky. There was garbage under the seats and the actual truck box was not broomed out. I didn't bother to clean the cab prior to turning it in.Castle S.
The truck I received was all the way across the parking lot and dirty when I got in it. Then when I returned the truck, because of someone else’s mess I was charged a cleaning fee. I couldn’t go back and change it and it was after hours so I couldn’t speak to anyone about it. Not happy when I moved all day long. After 2 years of weekly rental I was charged for 4 gallons of gas by your new manager. We average about 7.5 miles per trip and this one was actually 7. We have always put 1 gallon in when returning which we did this time. I called and your new manager was not open to discus. I shared the simple math with him and stated that maybe the level was mismarked on pick up. He then tried to inquire about us using some special tow mode. I informed him all we carry is food totes and hand carts and drive as is. I then let him know our business would be moving across town as he doesn't seem to value repeat, super easy customers. I would like to add that we have had nothing but positive experiences with this location and the staff has been excellent. I think it is a valuable teaching moment for your new manger to understand that not all customer complaints are arguments and listening and trying to come up with resolution goes a long way to keeping customers. If the would have listened to the simple point that 7 miles does not equate to 4 gallons of gas he may have been more inclined to find a solution rather than telling me there is nothing he could do 7/8 to 3/4 is 4 gallons! I DO NOT WANT TO BE CONTACTED!!!! The store manager, can’t remember his name, had rubbed me wrong several times and after a review, he called me to apologize. First I didn’t ask to be contacted. Second I did the survey not to have my info sent out. Sam is amazing. Great guy. Helpful and very respectful. There is a female there that is almost as good as Sam. I can’t remember her name either but very pretty. She’s respectful and helpful as well. I think that with the larger units being so far back it makes moving stuff in and out difficult as there is no back entrance. Might be a consideration. Overall though the place is good. If someone orders a uhaul from a specific locations don't expect them to drive 180 miles to pick up from a different location without any reimbursement. In Montana they gave us enough miles to drive it to our first location to only cover a route with an awful two lane road and a ton of deer. I was 9 months pregnant at the time and we didn't feel safe taking that road so we were charged extra for taking the extra miles on the interstate. Also, improve on your customer service on your main line. Everyone I spoke to was awful and basically said there was nothing they could do about any of my problems. Then we were charged extra at our drop off location and we are still unsure why, because the person we dropped it off with didnt know how to understand bill. We ended up having a medical emergency with my baby and had to fly to Seattle so we were never able to inquire as to why we were charged extra. We plan to move again soon but I will never use Uhaul again because it was such an awful experience, even if it is the cheaper option.Sam E.

1.I was supposed to receive one free month for renting a trailer but they denied it for this unit saying you can only use it once. I have multiple units, so that’s flat out false advertising. For the amount of money spent they should honor it. 2. They tried to charge me a late fee even though all my units were on auto pay. The nice person at the location reversed it, but it’s stupid that they mail your emergency contact that you aren’t paying and don’t bother to send an email until over a week later. It’s shaming someone for no reason and that should change as well, like inform the person first maybe??? Or look at their account and realize everything is on one autopay and taken care of??? The facility was not busy, instead of helping me or directing me the “manager,” his name tag said manager/owner, drew the way to my storage unit on a piece of paper. His attitude and cold, absent stare should have led me to expect no less.
