Nothing. It was a great experience.
Arlene FreyI rented a 5 x 9 trailer with ramp. Super cheap at only $33 with insurance! The trailer rolled smoothly and was very well constructed. I drove a combination of back country roads and highway. I have several trailers of my own that were not accessible to me on the day I needed one. UHAUL for the win!

David RossI picked up the rental late and was harassed by the main office. Received multiple texts and calls. We were very busy and had multiple issues with the day which caused our delayed pick up. The added calls from UHaul just added more stress to the day. They only need to send one text. It people don’t show up for their rental at their scheduled time they know they risk not getting. One of the messages actually said if I didn’t pick it up in time the next family would be delayed. That wasn’t true because the location wasn’t open the next day so no one would have had the vehicle after the keys were dropped in a night box. Guilt trips don’t work when they aren’t plausible.

MARY SANTER | Overall ExperienceI arrived to pick up a pickup truck, it was not ready for rental in my opinion but I took it as I had something I needed the pickup for. Windshield was iced over and truck covered with snow. No scraper if brush provided. Spare tire was on the truck meaning pressure sensor indicates an issue, real tire in bed was apparently flat, good thing I did need a tire change. On return the comment was a tire was on order. I think spending more might be a safer option, than getting a vehicle that they obviously know has issues but just choose not to tell you about.

Mark AnthonyWas told one price at a specific mileage and then after returning they said that I almost double that. I have my entire trip on my gps and never came close to what I rented it for. I went to return it after hours and they said to just use the app. The app never showed I rented anything that day and would not allow me to check the truck back in. I tried the QR codes on the door and still nothing. I returned the truck when I told them I would and the rental price nearly doubled. I'm just baffled. That this happened. One thing everyone needs to do is take a picture of the dash before with the milage and fuel levels before they even start the unit and take a picture after they drop it off like I did.. not happy at all with this rental. I'm not going to be renting from this location again.

Earlier in the week we lost our reservation at another site because it was not manned and the UHaul app did not function properly, therefore our plans had to be changed. We were very appreciative of the service we received at this location at both pickup and dropoff. The staff members were very helpful and courteous.

He's quick, personable, knows his business and should be first in line for a promotion, bonus or pay raise. I've been a Manager for over 40-years. If I was still working, I'd steal him away from U-Hsul!!
Charles YengstWe did notice that the change oil light soon was on the screen when we picked up the car. It may be a good idea to make sure this is taken care of before a vehicle is set up for the next customer. We did not have far to travel each way but it would have been a concern if we were to have taken it on a longer trip.

I would still be renting there, but the corporate level uhaul started to raise my rent on me every two to three months making it an unaffordable option. I understood a yearly increase of possibly a few dollars, but not an increase of even 5 to 10 dollars every few months. Some of us are on a fixed low income and can't afford continually having rent raised on us every few months. I know this was not a local matter, but something that was done at the corporate level. You guys at corporate though tried to make it look like local was raising the rent by slapping the local manager's name and address on every rent increase. I have nothing but respect for William and his staff, but you guys at corporate are dealing him a dirty hand making people think it is him doing the increases. I'm not even mad. I just think you guys at the corporate level are very greedy. That is my opinion. You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip.

I didn’t know, until the second time I packed up my car and headed to the storage facility to secure my locker that I had to first go to the UHaul truck rental store five miles down the road. Once someone told me that I have to go there to do the paperwork before I could gain access to my locker, everything started to make sense. Even better… while I was at the truck rental store, the attendant realized that she had a locker at that location that I could rent. This facility is way closer to my house so this was fantastic! The only thing that kind of stinks is that my locker is on the second floor and there is no elevator to my knowledge. We carried things up the flight of stairs. Everything was clean and the climate control is nice to have.

The items we needed to store were large and heavy and could not be taken up the stairs. For the price of your units, I would have expected an elevator. Also, the lack of elevator needs to be listed on your website. I would have rented elsewhere had I known there was no elevator. As a result, I am now on a waiting list for a unit elsewhere while our things sit in our garage.

Only downside to the whole experience was that the final month rent is not prorated based on when I closed my account, and I received no credit. Seems a bit unfair.

My oldest son (52) passed away suddenly on September 10th from a heart attack. He was an amazing tattoo artist (Spanky’s Tattoos) and as administrator of his estate, I am responsible for protecting and preserving his art work. I requested a climate controlled area to facilitate this task. Instead, I am in the basement which I was told is heated. Is that the same as”climate controlled)? I am rather disappointed to say the least!

I’ve tried to write a written complaint and request money back due to an obnoxious stench and filthy muddy truck that had been smoked in!! Additionally, the truck should have NEVER been allowed to be operated by anyone! I have an incurable lung disease along w/asthma and a severely compromised immune system. That being said, I was the ONLY person able to drive your truck. I requested another truck from the Sharon location and at first, it was due to the horrendous smell and filth inside the truck. The man said it was fine and I wouldn’t be charged for it being dirty but I explained I was gagging after seconds of opening the door! He said to air it out and leave windows down. He claimed he couldn’t release any other trucks and that’s all I could use. Again, all of my complaints are directed to the Sharon, Pa location ONLY! The employees in Greensburg Pa were kind and helpful!
