Clinton H.It is not clear when booking through the UHaul website that the equipment you book is not guaranteed and that all equipment is on a first come first serve basis. It is very frustrating arriving to pick up a moving vehicle and equipment to find out that the equipment you've booked is not available.

No documentation detailing the charge and I want my Visa credited. Called the local site and put on lengthy hold, so I hung up and will use this to get action from them. My money, I want it refunded.
jeff H.Online quote shows rate 0.89 $/km. actually they showed on mobile 1.41$/km for same size rental truck. I am still waiting for my bill as it was told on mobile that I will get on my email. I booked furniture trolley as well on line with the truck, but there was no furniture trolley at the location. I am at age of 70+ . I had to drag heavy items with great difficulty due to non availability of trolley. Otherwise general service was good. Truck was ready and equipment was clean.

Lazboy D.Hi, my experience was very mixed, good and bad. I initially contacted UHaul to get a trailer hitch installed, back in August. The parts were ordered and I was told to wait for contact from them to book the install appointment. A couple of days later I got an email with a date for the install. When I took my car to the facility there was no key drop box indicated for this purpose, only for returns. So I had to hide my key in the car and contact the service people later in the morning. It turned out that the parts were not there and that it was an automated email and I should have ignored (how was I to know that?). After a confusing phone call, and being told by a guy who claimed to be the only installer at the place, that I would receive a call from him for install date, I waited. So, I took my car back home later that day and waited for a phone call. I got a call on Saturday Sept 2nd telling me that the parts were in and the rep put me in the system. I didn't hear anything for more than a week so I called again and there was no appointment booked but there was a cancellation and I got in the next day. and it is done. When speaking with the staff on the day of the install, it turns out that Natalie is the only installer and they have no idea who I was talking to the day the guys told me he was the installer! All very confusing and I almost cancelled and went with another company. thanks for the opportunity to comment. Bruce

Cathrine S.Gas was between 1/4 and empty, not 1/4 as indicated. Van was parked very close to others, backing up was unnecessarily difficult even though the lot has plenty of room. Bedford location was way more professional as I have rented from them before.

darren j. | Overall ExperiencePlease provide accurate, consistent and correct information so that your customers will know what to expect when renting as I was given incorrect information by several Uhaul employees on multiple occasions. Since we must obey Uhaul rules, we at least need to know what those rules are. Other than that, service from Uhaul is usually really good!

She has been in there, at the front desk area, serving clients, and supporting staff every time we have visited the location over the past few months (at all hours, and every day of the week). She also treats clients and staff as people. She is warm and friendly, genuine. She actively problem-solved various challenges we faced with uHaul booking online, and made our complex and really stressful and difficult move possible. She deserves recognition for her talent and her hard work and amazing attitude. Thank you Jen! You - and under your leadership your staff - turned challenging uHaul experiences into positives. We are so impressed and grateful. We have recommended this location specifically to several friends and family already.

Michel G.Trailer was completely covered in mud and very dirty; inside and out ; had to pressure wash it myself before being able to load anything in it. When pointed to the agent; he blamed it on the previous renter . These should be rented cleaned at the very least !

I was told how much fuel was in the truck without the worker actually looking to see and when I realized he was wrong it was too late but when I brought the truck back and made sure it was more than what I left with the person checking in the truck told me I had to pay more money because the fuel was less then what I left with. I explained to him but he did not care and disrespected me and told me I had to pay the fuel charge. He then stated I should have taking a picture or something but I was stress for time and never thought about this being a problem. Overall I feel that the worker should always do a walk around first with the renter and they did not qith me.

lillian M.My only disappointment was that the originating location indicated that I would get a gas refund if the amount left in the truck was above what I left with. I filled the tank with over $200.00 of gas but only used 65% of gas and left the truck with just under a 1/2 tank expecting to get a refund of some sort. I was extremely disturbed when I was told no refund would be issued. You should ensure that all you staff are saying, to the customer, all the correct information. Gas is expensive and I am hoping something can be done.

Wayne D.Weather stripping was tore up. Did not get the date that I booked. Took 45 plus minutes to drop off. 45 plus minutes to pick up. And my trunk locking mechanism now shows that the tailgate is open when it is not.

Bryan B.My original booking location, that I had made almost a month prior, was switched without any notice to myself. I found out when I went to pick-up my uhaul using and had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with 3 different people before it was clear that my pick-up location had changed. This resulted in my trip mileage tripling from what it should of been, as well as driving across the city during rush-hour traffic which wasn't going to happen originally. Communication needs to be improved with your booking service across the board. No issues with the location I was redirected to.

Misha M.Once again, the self check out ap was slow and troublesome. I waited over 10 minutes once I submitted all the information until I was approved, even though I am a frequent customer. Waiting in line might have been quicker and less frustrating. The truck only had about an 1/8th of a tank of fuel when I picked it up. That pretty much demands that the first thing I do is put more gas in it. I was under the impression they didn't dispatch them with less than a 1/4 tank. Self check in when I returned it at 3am was painless,and I had the final invoice later that morning.

What should have cost $125 cost me almost $375 JUST WRONG When I pulled in the lot there was 6 covered trailers, feel like I was scammed. Scott
SCOTT C.The trucks air ventilation system did not work. We rented the truck on a rain/high humid day and with no air blowing on the windshield it was constantly fogged. The passenger had to constantly wipe so I could see. Very unsafe. The truck was returned with the same amount of fuel in it as I departed with, but was still charged $34 for fuel. When I left the fuel gauge was on the "F" for full, but not on the line of the gauge indicating a full tank of gas. Not pleased at all with this service/rental experience.

Ken M.Overall a pleasant experience. I only wish that you have for us older generation , modify the hour of 5pm to maybe 630pm ( customer representative actually on site) . The 5 pm is stressful to meet when driving through traffic to meet a deadline. Other than that, staff were great and my experience was very satisfactory. I would recommend this service to other people .
james S.My only concerns are; the customer before me was unable to rent equipment, and when leaving she was walking closer to me. I leaned away without backing up, and she still intentionally bumped into me, it was severely frustrating. Nothing on Uhauls part, it was this individuals fault. Then the one other thing, was the employee outside took a bit longer to get to me as he was speaking to other customers first. (he may have been new)

Ralph R.The truck I had reserved was not available (in for repair, shop closed on weekend), so a larger truck was substituted. Between the difference in KMs and Miles, I think I wound up paying more in mileage charges for the replacement truck than I would have otherwise. The CDW was also dropped on the replacement. I tried to reinstate it, but saw the charge on my contract twice (2x$16). Then the app crashed (as it often does), and it never was applied. Luckily I didn't need it.

I’m 5’6”, and clearly longer than the front dimension of the unit we were given. We brought enough furniture to fit into an 8 by 8 unit which screwed us over when we were given (and charged for) a 5 by 8.

I was told my stuff was going to auction. I made my payment and went to check on my locker and my lock was cut off. They gave me a new pne, with no apology. And that lock didnt work. . Had to be cut off. Went to move my stuff and couldn't fi ish bc of the card they gave sid not work. Left with stuff outside. Finally moved my stuff next day and was forced to leave my belonging outside bc of alarm.

No follow up! Poor service on that note; which is a rather important note. When something goes wrong, that's the time to truly show up for your customers. Someone needs to resolve this issue ASAP. We have about $4000 in damages.
hong w. | Overall ExperienceI booked online for a 10x10x10. I arrived at the facility and rented a truck the same day. I went and got items to be stored and brought them on site. Opening up the locker, I questioned if it was the right locker due to the small size. I went to the office and asked to make sure it was the right locker due to the size. The only comment was the system says it is a 10x10x10, so I can’t help you. I asked the person at the desk to come and look, she said no. I asked her to talk to a manager and she asked Jen and she said no and wouldn’t look at it either. I measured it with a tape measure and it is a maximum 9’4”x 9’6”x 7’’9”. This is false advertising and I wasn’t going to get what I was paying for. I had a friend come with a trailer and we moved the items to Metro Self Storage, where the people were nice and friendly.
