If you can’t figure out where your Dollie’s are, don’t allow poeple to book them. Just say that it’s a first come first serve basis. One young man there is excellent and had amazing customer service. Probably the only helpful person there!

IAN RThe tie downs inside the trailer were replaced with very a cheap replacement.i rented these trailers a few times and the original were much more robust. I was not confident my ride on garden tractor would stay strapped down in the event of a sudden stop. If there were an incident I feel U haul would be liable. I did not notice when I picked it up. I will not rent the next one that has the same issue. This can be dangerous.
TROY PMy haul experience was one of the worse times I have had as a customer.. I was at this location, got the truck which was parked around back and half full them knowing I was going one way to Ontario. Then had to go to Dartmouth to get the trailer which they had one at this location. Dartmouth is the absolute worst, and very unorganized and the lack of knowledge is ridiculous. They wanted me to take a trailer with no license plate, told me it was a me problem and the only trailer available was at the location I hust came from. I asked for some gas money and they said no, i got back there or a futher away one. So I get back to this location. A god sent of a woman named Leighton was the only one who made me half sane. I absolutely can not believe that with a reservation 6 weeks old, I had this many problems. I am absolutely amazed we made it to ontario as the teuck was garbage and the engine light was on when we got back.

DANIEL KExceptionally clean and secure storage unit. They have carts that help with moving items in and out of the unit. In the office you can actually walk into each sized unit to judge what you need. I have used a LOT of storage space over the years and this one was the best.

DONALD STwo people available on a busy Saturday morning with lots of bookings. One worker came from outside with someone and helped him skip the line then left halfway through the check-in and left him for someone else to finish. Unacceptable. It took close to 30 minutes to check in. Slow IMO.

Several weeks prior I had reserved the same size trailer to move my daughter home from University at another location (in Dartmouth) that I thought would be more convenient. I was away on an overseas trip until the night before pickup, arriving well after closing so prior to leaving I confirmed everything via telephone with the Dartmouth location. Upon landing in Halifax, I was shocked to turn my phone on and receive both a text and voice mail that the trailer couldn't be supplied and that the closest one would be in Kentville, NS, well over an hour from the hotel! Being after hours by that point I thought my only recourse was to try to book from another location online and was very relieved to find that U-Haul Moving and Storage of Halifax had a trailer for me. From there on everything went very smoothly and I'll most likely be renting the same size trailer again in the very near future to move some furniture from our home to our cottage.

RICHARD CThis is the second time I rented a truck to move furniture. I needed a dolly and a moving cart and ordered them online. When I arrived in the morning for my move I was told there were none available as it was first come first served. This seemed strange since I was one of the first people there, and I experienced the same thing last time. It makes the move hard, and it could render the rental pointless. What it has done is prevent me from being able to trust your services and it just isn’t worth renting from you when minor equipment that could ensure an easy move is never available. So my memory is of an unnecessarily difficult one resulting in a negative experience. That this happened twice tells me it is a flaw in your business model. There won’t be a third.

However when we arrived to pick up, we found out that they were unable to provide us with it so they gave us a 26ft truck and a flatbed auto transport. It wasn't ideal for our travel , it required that we choose our stop along the way more strategically to accomodate the lenght. But it did the job.and we were told that they wouldn't charge us extra.
SHAWN MEvery other place people can self checkout. Here that is not the case. The last two times I have had to wait in a long queue for service. It is clearly understaffed and all of the efficiency options are not promoted to people. I did everything online but then I had to wait 30-45 minutes to get my equipment. There should be a fast line for those who did check in online. And one more staff person to manage the demand on weekends.
Wendy JThe hitch installer handled my 7 pin connector troubles extremely well. Found and fixed the issue without needing to replace everything. Also explained to me exactly what to look for in the event of any future troubles. Very much recommended.

Timothy LI found the security lacking. Though they gave me a swipe card, I could pull my car in and walk directly to my unit upstairs without even encountering a closed door. It appeared that the only security was the lock on the unit. I have to say the staff were magnificent and helped me very much any time I had a question. I was just very surprised to the fact that anyone could waltz in and go straight up to a unit??!!!
sherry E | Overall ExperienceI had a rental for a 10' Cube van and Car Dolly. First truck they gave me check engine light was on and idling rough - exchanged for another. No mention of the "App walkaround" by the attendant - I realized after I left the parking lot and got a text. Pulled over and completed the "process" on the side of the road to log the condition. Arranged to pick up the Car Dolly after lunch. When I came back they said, "we do not have any Dolly's for one way rentals". I said, there are 3 outside in the lot. "Those are not for one way". But my reservation reserved one for this day at this location - and nothing said in that process (none were available), I need a Dolly. They offered a "transporter" for more money, and I said, No. I reserved one at this location so unless you are going to provide one at the same cost, I am not accepting it. Then a few "weird" transactions where they wanted me to "accept" an additional $112 to my VISA, which I declined to accept - as I had paid for the whole reservation that morning when I picked up the truck. The attendant kept saying, "just click accept here and it will all be sorted out". "The system saw that you had reserved one and made the change in the bbackground". I said, "do you not think that would have been important to communicate to the user that the reservation was changed - because no one did". I said NO, if I do that and click accept, my VISA will be immediately charged. Finally, after calling Damien at head office and working it out - they offered me the transporter for the same price. Attendant hooked it up to the truck. No inspection, no signing of paperwork. I left. Once again, got another link to my phone about the check out process - no mention of this by the attendant when we checked the hookup together and inspected the lights. I said, "are we all good?". He said, "Yes". I left, then got the link. By the time I noticed the link - it had expired - so I did not have the opportunity to log it out, officially. This madness of the gauge for fuel and conversion chart to return to the same amount is shear insanity. Just have it full, and then I return it full. I struggled and had to add gas twice to get it to "the mark" it was at when I started - very inconvenient for the user. Much easier to have it full when I pick it up, have me fill it up upon return, or charge me. Not user friendly at all. When I got to my destination, the website said ti was closed, but was actually open. I started the "return process" on the app and it went into great details (12 steps) about how to unload the car and unhook from the tow vehicle. I do not need to do this - I am returning it to you at that point. I had already done that before I came to the return spot, so this was silly to make the user have to step through that process. I walked inside and said, "can someone please help me check this truck and Transporter in". He said, "Yeah, let me do it, don't you try to do it or it will mess up my end - our system is not great". Finally, we got them checked in and inspected. About 1.5hrs to get that part done - painful. All staff were friendly, but not overly helpful and not a lot of information exchanged to someone when they come to pick up or drop off - I had to keep prompting them, "so, what is next? What do I do?".

Tom PYour team could inform your customer about particular need to know items. Eg: certain sized vehicles are prohibited on the MacDonald Bridge in Halifax and where to drop the truck off when returning. This would have made my experience 5/5. Being pulled over on the bridge and chastised and then returning the vehicle to the parking location. Then as I’m walking up to hand off the keys, being met with a snotty attitude by one of your return agents. Letting me know I need to bring the truck to the door was not necessary. If you’re looking for coaching topics.

JUSTIN WDidn't like finding out that dollies were first come first serve ...thought by requesting with the truck rental that they would be available. Resulted in. Taking 5 hours to move rather than 2 or 3 as it should have. At $110.00/hr paying moving guys i was less than pleased.

VLADIMIR TI rented a 15' truck from halifax to Montreal, but the truck i got was a shit: 1) broken mufler 2) wiper blades start tearing after 200KMs 3) wasted my time to book road side assistance and stop at the location for atleast 1.5hour to wait for mechanic. I got harassed in my whole trip because of this...

I was horrified to find that my unit had been opened, and the lock removed without my knowledge or consent! When I spoke to the staff on site they could see a note on my file that indeed that lock had been removed but could not provide an explanation as to why staff would be entering and removing a lock on a paid for unit. The counter associate said that she would reach out to the manager and contact me that next day. I have yet to receive a response from Uhaul. The actions of the Uhaul staff are not only in violation of the policies set out by Uhaul, they are also a huge breach of trust that make me (and others to hear my story) no longer want to use the services of Uhaul.

Called UHaul and they told me that the unit was in my name and not the old account owners. Visited U-Haul location and the name was never changed.

That was extremely annoying. Personally, I don’t think the alarm should go off at all when you open it while disarmed.

August 30th I had other dealings with U-Haul staff that were not as easy and ended up costing me more money and stress than I had anticipated. Feel free to contact me if you want feedback on that experience. I’m still waiting a return credit to my credit card as promised by an assistant manager. (For gas I was incorrectly charged for) I also had to rent an enclosed trailer because our truck was not ready when we came to pick it up. (We paid for the truck rental then had to return it on time still to not affect the next person) I was surprised by the service and overcharging because our past dealings have been so great.

Secondly, we were lucky that we asked a random staff about after hours access. The person at the reception or website itself did not notify us that we need to pay for 24/7 access. NATHAN M | Overall ExperienceI was happy with my experience as a U-Haul storage customer right up until I closed my units and accounts. I had to because I was moving cities. I think it’s outrageous that U-Haul does not pro-rate monthly storage rates. I would advise others against using U-Haul for storage on this alone. I can assure you, it’s not industry standard. I had to close my accounts immediately after my billing cycle for reasons beyond my control, and I was charged around $275 for nothing, and I know that UHaul will attempt to sell my former units to another customer ASAP. That’s tantamount to theft. It left a horrible impression on me as an outgoing customer.
KYLE S | Overall ExperienceOnly really had two issues. The first one was the fact that we accidentally set off the alarm for our unit and nobody came. Alarm was going off for probably a good 5-6 minutes before it just shut off. Nobody came to see if anyone was breaking in so kind of feels no as secure as Uhaul is claiming to be. The second thing that happened was I called and talked to a rep because we were moving units. She said “don’t worry about it, I can get you a free unit on the second floor” and before she could say anything else she basically hung up? It felt as if she said something that she couldn’t back up. I do think with better security the place should be open until midnight rather than 10pm.

The facility was spotless at all times and the staff were always helpful. If I had to store anything, Burnside Uhaul would be my choice.

edie d | Overall ExperienceWas not happy when I arrived from New Brunswick and found out that even if I reserve a storage unit, it is on a first come first served basis. This being said, the unit that I reserved was no longer available. The person who served us was very helpful and found us another one. She should just come out and have the conversation herself instead of speaking through a middle person wasting an hour of people’s time. even other Uhaul managers and employees I SHOWED evidence of all this too as I record all conversations with businesses was shocked and disgusted this was how they ran their business. I was also charged money on my card for SOMEONE ELSE doing business with you and stealing my card information. Yet that’s my fault and so I lost nearly 70$ for no reason. I never gave you my card information to use Regardless I don’t live in Nova Scotia anymore so I will never set foot on your property again. These are parts of the reason I left this horrible province because businesses have no idea what they are doing.

KURTIS J | Online Move In1) I rented a 10'x20' unit and then on move in I find out it is actually two seperate 10'x10' units. This should be clearly disclosed. It really is not acceptable. In my case I made it work, but it wasn't the plan for how I wanted to store things. You should also give actual dimensions because they are not even 10'x10' they are more like 9'6"x9'6". 2) The keypad at the main door to the indoor climate controlled units advises for after hour access to input your code, however it doesn't actually work for the posted after hours. There is no notice to advise anyone of this and I was not told there was another entrance that could be utilized after office hours. I found out on a subsequent day when staff were on. 3) There is a bay which clearly shows you can back a large moving truck up to and in, but in any event you can easily back up to the loading bay garage doors of any of the three bays, however they won't let you use these unloading bays in any capacity if you have a 20' or 26' uhaul moving truck.

First of all when I did have the money I could not get a hold of anyone in the officem I kept getting transferred to the main line and I was told I needed to speak to the manager to send funds. I paid half my unit cost the start of August and was unable to reach anyone all day August 31st to pay the other half. It resulted in an email the next day of the unit going up for auction. When I tried to contact the manager to discuss this I had the same exact issue. I was forwarded multiple times and spent hours being transferred to people who worked for U-Haul who could not help me. I have told multiple U-Haul employees that I wanted to speak to the higher up to place a formal complaint. I ended up losing my storage unit. Yes I understand I could not pay it in full. But if you say you're gonna work with someone and completely ghost them and you're unreliable than that just makes your word and reliability trash. This experience put a bad taste in my mouth about the entire company. I had not been helped and my unit has now been auctioned off. No one tried reaching me by phone. Also I was banned for trying to bid on my own unit since U-Haul refused to work with me with my items. I'm in the United States. I can't just show up physically to my unit. I will continue to try to place my formal complaint about this faculty. This manager is a joke.

They only complaint I do have is the charge we had to get our lock cut off. My husband lost the key to our locker and it cost $50 for them to cut the lock. It was definitely an expensive mistake on our part. As for the employees at this UHaul, they go above and beyond for their customers.

Opening up the locker, I questioned if it was the right locker due to the small size. I went to the office and asked to make sure it was the right locker due to the size. The only comment was the system says it is a 10x10x10, so I can’t help you. I asked the person at the desk to come and look, she said no. I asked her to talk to a manager and she asked Jen and she said no and wouldn’t look at it either. I measured it with a tape measure and it is a maximum 9’4”x 9’6”x 7’’9”. This is false advertising and I wasn’t going to get what I was paying for. I had a friend come with a trailer and we moved the items to Metro Self Storage, where the people were nice and friendly.

Luckily only 1 punctured the tire. Many of these screws are come from the construction of the storage lockers themselves, though some come from careless customers. I’d highly recommend sweeping the lot with a magnetic sweeper after new units are constructed as the builders seem careless with fastening hardware.

Laurie M | First ImpressionsEvery time that I have dealt with this Uhaul location, there are constant issues. I had reserved a storage unit in august, a 5x5x14 indoor unit. I get to uhaul and they say that all they have is 5x5x8 for the same price. They said the online registration is first come first served. So essentially they do not use the reservation system at all and it is pointless. End up having to pay the same for a significantly smaller space. When I did get in I tried to use my previous truck rental to get a free month. The lady at the desk said that there was an issue and that I would have to come in the next day to get help from the manager. Well lo and behold when I go in the next day, the same lady is able to help me. Big waste of time. Then turns out she didn't do the reservation correctly, because when I went in this week a little after a month later, my unit was locked with one of their locks. They weren't able to see who owned the unit, so they locked it and put it as a John Doe. (Auto pay was setup) The man that helped me was very kind and helpful, poor guy had to go in and fix all of the issues that were caused. This took about 10/15 minutes to resolve to just get back in. This isn't the first time I have had issues with this Uhaul, though I can guarantee once I can move my things this will be the last time I go to this center. Complete incompetence all the way through, and they do not even uphold Uhaul online reservations. Another note, was asked to move my car to the "customer parking" even though there were no signs to indicate. And their main door to the store side don't open all the way and I smoked my shoulder off door. Sad place, and unfortunately there aren't many other options that are similarly priced

The drop-off of the truck took another 30-40mins of standing in line to wait. Both wait times are unacceptable when trying to navigate the logistics of a move - time limit on truck reservation as a prime example. Spending over an hour of a truck rental standing in line waiting to pick it up is not acceptable. As well, the storage unit we had reserved online was not available when we checked in so ended up having to take a smaller unit, which likely will not serve our needs further inconveniencing us. The facility is clean and well laid out but the wait times and lack of available storage unit/unfulfilled reservation is really disappointing.

THIS IS NOT THE CASE. We gave the furniture away to a Ukrainian relief and could close out the unit 10 days early. So , ok then - I can deal with that policy - although I think it is unfair BUT what is shameful is the DOUBLE-DIPPING uhaul is able to do buy renting out the same unit I've already paid for!!! Buyer beware I guess I WOULD NOT uhaul storage.

Afterward, our customer record was deleted but when re adding us they did not set up the payment. As a result our door had a ted lock we had to get removed and it also prevented us from renting truck. On our last day we were told by another staff member we should have been given access code. Positive points were convenient location and cleaning/security staff. They were excellent.

The electrical contractor you hired (Turple electric) was rude to customers and during COVID there was one who wouldn’t wear a mask and harassed me and other customers. Staff didn’t care. Smoking area for staff right beside main doors. While people load and unload, they have to breath in smoke. Also, some staff is always smoking. In 89 of my 100 visits, someone was smoking by the main door. It’s 2022, why is this. Twice during my 15 month storage and the 8 trucks I rented I had issues. Jen Cashin even emailed me to respond to my concerns. Her response and offer fell far short, and she didn’t even follow through. I was dissatisfied. I hated going to Uhaul by the end. It was like a comedy of errors. But it wasn’t funny. It was hassle. There was no need for it. I will never use uhaul again, every, for anything. The price sounds like the best, and you have lots of trucks, and the facility for storage is new and clean. But the experience was painful, and fell far short of my expectations. The person who booked my storage locker in the first place was probably the worst. In a brand new facility, he gave me the locker that is absolutely the furthest from the entrance. I made over 100 trips. Each time as I walked past rows of empty units I wondered why he wanted me to suffer. He was rude, and condescending. I found that to be the rule at uhaul. I can’t tell you if that was just a local store issue or if it’s company wide. Either way, I don’t care. I’m done with it.

ROBERT L | Overall ExperienceOur possessions were moved into our storage unit by the removal company and they gave the keys to the reception to put in their lock box until we were able to get over to Nova Scotia to Ontario. We had provided the removal company with a lock but they were told that we had to buy a UHaul one. We were meant to collect our keys for the storage unit on arrival but the keys had been lost by Uhaul. We then waited 3 hours for the staff to remove the lock for us. On three occasions we had to go and ask if they were coming to assist us and every time it appeared they had forgotten all about us. Both my husband and I had taken a day off work to move out of the unit but unfortunately were unable to clear the unit due to this lengthy wait. We are still waiting for a refund for the lock.

In May we rented a 26 ft truck they told us when they got there they only had a 20, I booked 2 storage units only to find out when we got there they only had one on top of not being able to find our reservation. They said it was because I called their Arizona phone number. We had to rent another truck and find another unit at another storage place. When we moved out on June 26 they said again they couldn’t find our reservation again, also we wanted to change our drop off location to Digby 15 minutes from us but they said it would cost $800!! So instead we had to take it further from us. I don’t understand how at every turn there was an issue, it’s like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing!

The after hours was pretty confusing so we had to move to an outside unit to have 247 hr access Our units door wouldn’t stay open we reported it and went to meet with the maintenance person but they didn’t show and apparently a work order wasn’t submitted even thou we complained. upon moving we noticed a huge leak destroying some boxes luckily it was nothing valuable. And caused minimal damage however could have definitely been a major issue. We didn’t have anything that contained food however upon moving we noticed chew boxes, materials, and rodent poop. We understand these things can happen, so we didn’t say much. The manager is pretty friendly but unfortunately I can’t say that for the rest of the staff, every time I had to speak with anyone it seemed to be an inconvenience for them. We had auto renew set up but twice there was a red lock put on our unit for no reason both times the rep saw my account was $0 and explained that sometimes there a delay with auto renew even thou the money has come out our account cause we were using a visa debit. I wish before the locked us out of our unit we paid for they verified first especially sense the reps were aware of the issue. My only complaint was that I will billed for the entire month (December) when I moved out on the first day of the new billing period. I had tried to get out the day earlier but the moving company could not have the job completed before the access to my unit was closed at 1900. As stated by the CSR " at 1900 we close and turn on the alarms" This cost me an extra day and thus an additional 243.00 dollars spent on a unit i was not going to use again. That was disappointing.

I called on October 8th to inquire about promotions and rates as I saw one on line for one month free storage with truck rental. I called the Halifax location to ask specifically about this promotion. I was told it was available for both one way and in town rentals. I asked if I could book it on line or had to be in store, I was told I could do either. I proceeded to book both my truck rental and storage online. The promotion was not valid. I had issues picking up my truck on my mobile device as it did not show up on my account reservations, only my storage. I went to Customer Service to check in for my truck. Received everything, no problems. Disappointed that there was no access code available and I was limited to the holiday hours to move and store my items. I asked about the promotion and if the agent could apply it for me. He advised that it had just expired. I asked why I would be told of an expired promotion? He said I could provide feedback. This promotion was the reason I decided to choose uhaul for my truck rental and storage solutions. Finally when I arrived to return my truck, I could not do it via mobile self service as the rental still did not appear on my account reservations. I called the after hours support and was on hold for 40minutes before I was disconnected. I called back and requested a call back which never happened. I called the Halifax location at 7am as soon as it opened to explain my issues with mobile return of my truck. I said I could drive to the location to complete the return in person before my truck was due to be returned should that be required. I was advised it was not necessary. Needless to say, a process that seemed all too effortless on line did not go as smoothly as planned. I chose uhaul for the promotion of one month’s free storage if this wasn’t the case, I would have chosen other options as there were promotions elsewhere I could have taken advantage of. I hope you would honour your promotion. Thank you.

Called several times to get the situation fixed and was always promised a call back from a manager but that never happened. The sliding door to the facility was broken for the whole time we rented there (6 months) brought that up to employees it was never fixed always had to pry it open, it was supposed to be an automatic door. The sanitizer despenser inside the door was never filled even throughout a lockdown. To say the least renting a locker from U haul was a terrible experience and I am glad to have moved my stuff out of there! I will never recommend any of thier services to anyone I know, especially the Bayers Lake location which is the one I used.

CAROL E | Overall ExperienceRecieved a phone call one day stating I had to go through my locker as there was a foul smell in the building. The day I went in I was hit with the smell of rotten fish. Went through my locker, smell was not coming from there so I reported back to them. A few months later, I asked if it had been taken care of and not a single person knew what I was talking about. My stuff still smells like rotten fish. I had requested for a 5x5 locker. Most of my stuff that should have fit did not fit and I ended up having to store it elsewhere. We measured the unit and found out it was actually 4x4. When it was brought up to management, they said I would just have to deal with it. If I was not in a bad situation at the time of move in, I would have never used this facility. The staff was always far from helpful and rude whenever I went into the office. I was also only able to access my stuff until 7 pm which is a huge inconvenience since I work every day till 7pm. They couple days I took to move my items out of storage, the doors were closed off and I had to use a different area to go into the building. The staff was incredibly rude when I asked them how I was supposed to enter the building. They asked me why I needed to go in…. On top of all that, there was never any place to park and very hard to load/unload vehicles due to the parking situation. Most of the time I had to carry my items from the far end of parking lot into the building

There were a few bright lights in a mostly miserable experience from the pick up of my trailer to dropping my things off in storage. I really don’t know how you Allstate in business with the poor customer service you provide, your internet portals are a joke, no one ever answers the phone and your customer service in person people are burnt out from all the unhappy customers. My reservation wasn’t there when I arrived but when you are the most tired in your life there is no fight. The last person I felt with was accommodating sympathetic and kind. If U-Haul disappeared in a black hole no one would care.

Considering transit times to the facility, it is not quite convenient for access. Two out of three truck bay doors didn't open during our stay of 1 month, during which we visited 3 times. The one door who did open was not tall enough for our truck provided by hired moving company. However, i do believe uhaul trucks can fit through. Facility is clean and well lit. Usually staff are quick response and trained well to provide resolution. All in all, good hardware but really need to do something with the hours.

I was in a very tough situation but Ward went above and beyond to let me move my belongings into my storage unit. Ward made my evening and helped me out of a jam. The communications for access hours was not well executed, but Ward’s help made all the difference.

I told them I would be there after work to pay. I received the receipt for first month free on my email. When I got there your staff could not find me in the system and started over again. I told them I changed my mind and did not want it. I do not expect a charge on my credit card.

Donald D | Overall ExperienceI was at the end of my rope when I called U-Haul ,I got on the phone to rent a truck and told them because of circumstances' beyond my control I needed to rent one of their storage facilities also . I think the women could hear distress in my voice because no sooner did I say that she said that for a one way meaning from my place to the storage in Bayers Lake facility I would be given a month free of storage ! I could feel my stress level decreasing as ever moment passed by ! Not only did I have no place to live but the money was very tight also ,because of the Epidemic I had no job either ! The three guys I had helping me didnt pack the storage properly, so I had no other choice but to get another unit , The manager took 20% off of that one plus loaned me her lock so I wouldn't have to buy one ! I dont have a cent to my name but I'm so grateful that U-Haul cared enough to offer their help ! Thank You Bayers Lake U-Haul for your kindness ! Corina

We had completed the online storage application on the U-Haul website and had requested an 8x10 storage locker at the 350 Horseshoe Lake location. Upon getting there the staff member was unable to open our online reservation and then proceeded to tell us that they do not have any 8x10 storage units. I should him the reservation confirmation I received from U-Haul that showed I had booked an 8x10 at that location and the staff member shrugged it off and said they didn’t have any. This was extremely disappointing because I had completed the online reservation to make our move in easy but it turned out to be a very difficult and stressful move in. Also none of the entrance doors work properly (they only half open) and the storage space smells of fish.

Then when i said i was checking in, she got fustrated and was conplaining that the new storage units wernt in the system and she had to check me in manually. While i was being served, she was also explaining to a customer on when he should see the hold on his credit card go back on his card. She was very abrupt and when he left, she turned to me and shook her head. Very unprofessional throughout the whole process. She also argued with other staff.

All pedestrian access is boarded over with plywood. Besides being a concern in an emergency or during a power outage, it was inconvenient to have to go into the office and request it be opened every visit.

I was told someone would be contacting me about getting it cleaned. After no call back I've tried contacting you several times. After being on hold for awhile my calls get transferred to a call center in the U.S. somewhere, where nobody can do anything but send you a message on my behalf. I'm still awaiting a reply of some sort. Nobody has gotten back to me and it has now been 3 weeks. I was assured that someone would take care of it. Turns out that was a lie. I would never use your storage facility again. You advertise clean, dry units. The black stains all over my now ruined couch say otherwise. I have pictures I can send if you'd like to see.

Ricky M | First ImpressionsThe only real issue I had with the facility were the limited hours of access. I realize it's a relatively new facility and perhaps a proper security system isn't yet in place, but large signs are posted on the premises advertising 24/7 access and I was very disappointed to discover that in fact the access hours for storage units were identical to the office hours, far too limited for my needs. I hope that issue is rectified soon, because there are other facilities nearby that have no restrictions on hours of access, and, for me at least, that's a strong argument for going with them.

They have to bear the brunt of it in silence. You put them in a very awkward position because of your greed. You have fantastic customer service, you just cheat on measurements. If you want good ratings, change the cheating The shame of it is you put them in an embarrassing position. Change your paperwork to reflect the ACTUAL USABLE FEET. 9x9 My feelings are you cheat people about the measurements - I supposedly have and pay for a 10x10 space, when in actual fact that is NOT ACCURATE. My actual USABLE space is 9x 9ish. You cannot store anything in the ripple of the corrugated metal, nor can you store anything from where the slide door comes down to the middle edge of the step. I was told the measurement is from the inside ripple to the outside of the step. Try being honest and charge people for ACTUAL STORAGE SPACE!!! If asked, I would definitely tell people how you cheat people. I moved over from Metro self storage, based on Jen’s help and great customer service - she sold me. I actually measured and they cheat people as well??? What the h*ll is with you people. Just change your signage to reflect the TRUTH instead of ripping people off.
