My first day renting the storage the employee needs some customer service training no goodmorning no smile and he acted like he had a attitude with me but I didn't say anything. Other than that everything else was fine. The gentleman who rented me the truck yesterday was very courteous and I appreciated that.

I initially rented the truck from 1 location, and was called the day before because the location for my pickup was changed. I went to the new location and it was closed. I had to call and found out the location was closed and they set me up with a location that was, "just around the corner", Just around the corner was 30 minutes out of the way one way, causing me to run behind by 1 hour. I had people set up to help me move the outdoor kitchen; however, since I was now running an hour behind, the help left. Uhaul caused me a lot of trouble. The pickup at the new place was quick and easy, but being switched to a different rental location was very inconvenient, and created big problems for me. That was unacceptable.

I was told as I was driving cross county there was a unit at this location to rent and there was NOT. Employees seemed disinterested in helping or even doing their job. One of the employees actually assaulted my partner. Never in all these years using uhaul have I experienced such mayhem.

Amazing service very friendly and relatable. I was recently effected by the flood in July 2022, and it was my first time renting from Uhaul. The guy had a great sense of humor, and was very helpful. The guy left a great impression. Now when I see Uhaul I think of that great experience that early morning to get the uhaul. Even the gentlemen who checked me out after renting had great customer service. If you want customers to rent come here! Location was perfect for me. I had such a peace of mind driving something that big can feel intimating but it wasn't difficult and everything was up to code, having no concern about break downs , or squeaky breaks.. or hot air. Uhaul on Dunn Road needs 100 stars!

We have NEVER had such an unpleasant experience - the staff was RUDE, yelling at customers and treating our employees with disdain. It was absolutely horrible. We will never use this location again. We rent from U-Haul at least once a month, and often times more. We were desperate for a van as ours broke down and the treatment we received from every person there was inexcusable. We will only use the Olivette location going forward. What an embarrassment for your company to have such awful people representing you.

The staff was great! However Uhaul as a company is ripping people off by saying they have a 20ft truck when in fact it is 16ft. Im sorry but the moms attic does not count as 20ft. I measured the truck with a tape measure and it is 100% 16ft with maybe an extra 2ft in the "attic" space. Its false advertising and probably illegal. Step it up Uhaul..and while youre at it give Doug at this location a raise. He was scrubbing pizza and dirt off a truck when he finalized my rental. Sincerely, A Penske Fan

Most unprofessional behavior of manager Doug Gault . He changed our online reservation, charged more than was quoted, spoke very loudly with me almost to the point of yelling, argued about facts that were on the contract, I called to ask for extension on rental told me it's not possible to extend a rental period . I said was glad they recorded the phone conversations that U-Haul would find this one very interesting He proceeded to get angry and hung up on me. When we return the truck he charged us for gas when we had already filled the truck. Was told many lies about pricing and the rules and regulations policies of U-Haul.

Get more employees that are friendly and kind not there just to do a job but there to help people. Most of the time people are in a compromising situation and need help when they use uhaual. I was charged money when I wasn't supposed to be charged. Another thing is the dolly on the truck is held together by a plastic band that breaks easily. I told the employees that it broke before I even drove the truck off the lot. He told me he would put in on file. When I returned the unit I told the rep about what happened with the dolly and he was like yeah right like I was lying. I felt liked he didn't believe me and charged me anyway. Sorry for the long post but I didn't have a good experience this time working with your company and I feel like I was charged more than I was supposed to.

Be more accurate with fuel replenishing. It hard to try and replace fuel exactly. If you start with a full tank of gas and return with a full tank of gas, there is not problem,

I started paying around $72 on my unit then immediately after two years of the pandemic my rates went up to $99. The funny thing with this is that I carry mail in this area and have come acquainted with four other customers who use your facility. 3 of them had storage space bigger than mine and paid an average of $35. I would give names but I'm saving that information for court because this situation needs to be addressed in court. Even after my rates were changed none of the others I'm referring to went through the change and still don't. Yall might want to say it's because they pay on time but I have proof that that's not true because one of them is deceased and I was offered to put my things in that unit. Yes I was regularly late but made arrangements with the MOD the date I started renting from this location because my payday didn't correspond to my due date but I always have paid. Please note that this isn't the only location I have used with Uhaul. The first time a lock was put on my unit the attended that let me in noticed and mentioned that it must have flooded here and I said yea I see. He said I'll let them know and then two months later my fees were raised and my access code was deleted because I was given a managers code to enter where every time I visit my unit I kept finding a lock on my unit even after payment. I'm even considering contacting the NAACP to obtain a civil attorney since those other 5 customers were Caucasian leading me to believe that race played a big part in this situation as well. This will be my last communication with you on these issues and I'll see yall in both courts. Thank you. Kenneth Hall.

Bizarre rental experience. Had 24 hr rental and was told to have it back in 18 hrs. Was told their was 1/2 tank of fuel, but was actually 6 gallons less. Took pics to document and was not charged to bring it to 1/2.

The person taking the uhaul back didn't say anything to me just had me waiting wondering what to do next while he was on the back of the truck talking on his cell phone the whole time. They even tried to charge my card for being late when I previously called saying I would be late. They also charged me for gas when there wasn't much gas when I got the truck. This location needs to be equipped with more dollies for rent. A request was made via online. If the location does not have the equipment, the reservation for it should be blocked online. The truck I rented broke down in the middle of the street 5 times. The trucks need to be thoroughly inspected for major problems before being given to a customer. Not just cleaned and checked for damaged. Better customer service in regards to providing solutions to a customer dissatisfaction. Customers should be immediately offered a discount when they are inconvenienced by your services.

The only issue is that when you reserve on line, you don't know if their out of something. I ordered an appliance dolly and they were out of them. Sorry people are stealing them. But they had a regular dolly we could use. So this is a FYI.

The vehicle had several mechanical issues. A/C did not work, alignment was off 90 degrees and the truck had other various malfunctions. Upon return, the reps response was “ this ain't our truck, it was a one way from another state. You're the second person in a row to have issues.” Definitely the last time I'll spend ANY money here

There's nothing that I haven't said that wasn't said before. I rented a until there. Then became an employee. The GM Anthony covered for all of the employees lazyness. GM had a medical emergency and didn't leave instructions with a responsible adult. I basically am one of many people who found it a waste of time working in a hostile work environment at that location. I'm the only one that is brave enough to let you know. I moved out after I was jumped on by the group led by Eerica. Instigated by Anthony. That's been months ago. If Eerica Mann (the gold tooth lady with the cigar hanging out her mouth who walks on the back of her shoes), Anthony Chiello or anyone from that location calls me or anyone that I've removed from ALL list there, an attorney will contact uhaul to represent me further. You can have that cabinet in my old unit. I've had enough of Anthony, Eerica, Cameron and that guy that shows up stoned every other day & the CC's. Oh and Dan with the disrespectful mouth.

I had my storage for a little over a year. Originally, it was all good. One particular time I was late but ended up paying. Went to my storage and it was still locked. I called and they fixed it immediately. My main concern was the roaches that came later in the year. It was the lack of cleaning the area that I didn’t like. I was in a storage inside of a building. Really thought it would be secured from all things. Most definitely thought me purchasing insurance would benefit in a way and it didn’t. Insurance is a complete waste. The greatest thing I did was get my belongings out. Although I trashed most of it due to roaches. I moved out on my payment date which was 12/28/21 not 1/2/2022. Glad to be gone!!!

Anthony was fantastic. He answered all of my questions along the way and if I am going to be paying $180 for a 10x15 you best believe I am going to have a couple questions that is a semi large purchase when it comes to a monthly subscription. $180 is actually more than I could of paid elsewhere but Anthony honored my lack of coupon that I was not given by a different facility after returning my rented uhual. Overall I would rate this location a 10 out of 10 solely use this singles employee the cleanliness of the store was amazing best I have seen by singular uhaul place. Two thumbs up from me.
