The actual Uhaul part was great. This location is awesome. Do not use the MyMove service. I hired well-rated movers and they confirmed the day before and then never showed up. What's worse is Uhaul said to contact mymove. Actual company says to contact mymove or uhaul and mymove basically said that it's not their problem and to read the contract. Buyer beware!Jason F.

I have been to this locations about 2 times within a year. On 3/07/21 I Walked in 3 cashiers sitting there talking about another customer. Never acknowledged me, so I started going to man at middle register. Then last cashier said come down here. She had an attitude and just keep being rude talking about a customer bringing back a truck at 6:30pm. I looked at my time on phone, because I knew I was going to report them. She was rude & not friendly. She gave me a truck blocked in two ways. I took key back in never left. I told the available cashier sitting at first register, doing nothing. I said I don't need truck, because what I needed it for would probably be gone.i I proceeded to leave. The other lady with customer that had checked me in yelled out they can get me a truck moved, etc. Then a man yells get the F... out of here B.... ! I realized he was talking to me I ask him do you work here, so I can get his name. He would not answer me. He repeated get the F... out. I was shocked & upset. I've never had an experience like this with this company. This location wanted me to pick up a truck in Winston Salem after I told them I live walking distance from the store. Witch is the reason I chose this location. Then upon pick up tried charging me and extra 100$ for paying with cash. I will never do business at this location againNEALY M.

I had to go to this location because my original reservation wasn't fulfilled. The truck had been reserved on the 16th at the Thomasville location. When I arrived, checked in and ready to leave we opened the back door to put the pads inside. The door was locked and when the associate returned after finding a key we were in for a shock. It was full of trash from the previous renter. Guess what no truck to replace it. So that's how I ended up in High Point. Management did give me a break on the mileage cost. Something needs to be done about checking before the customer arrives to make sure it's ready.Phillip B.

I did the contact free online rez and check-in option. Worked pretty well. However, following the instructions during return I found a stall and parked. I uploaded pic of the spot and finished up. As I was walking to the office to drop off the key, I was asked to go back and move the truck to another location. I explained I was doing online return and followed instructions and the image of the spot I parked it was on record. I didn't want to move it and destroy the integrity of the process. I was told to move it again, that COVID was making me move it. What the hell are these people talking about?!? Then when I got in to move it another vehivle pulled up behind me to attach a hitch. The attendant there stopped me from backing out and told me to wait on parking it. Now it was just getting insane! I then left the vehicle walked inside where another U-Haul employee wouldn't take the key - he told me to move it. (Mow I'm asking myself where did U-Haul pick up its customer service manual?) So I explained again that I did the check-in as instructed and all was paid for. I would not be waiting for the other customer to finish hitching up and I held the key out. The U-Haul employee relented and took the key. I left without looking back and who knows if I will rent from this location again. All was good up until the return. Not sure what is going on in your employee's minds but some training is due.Justin S.

I originally had a reservation w the Galax location. They didn't notify me that they didn't have a truck until I arrived after an hour drive. Didnt even bother to assist me in locating a replacement. I called another galax uhaul rel who went above and beyond and found me 1. Unfortunately I had to back tra k 30 minutes. If I had been notified this could have been avoided. Especially since Galax was already 30 minutes from my pick up location. All of this took me an additional 3 hours that could have been avoided. The original Galax location was rude, uncooperative, and uninterested. I would never stop back in that location. He was more interested in his vape business.ERIC P.

Good Evening, I am writing to say that I had the greatest experience renting from U-Haul Moving & Storage of High Point which is located in High Point, NC 27265 on 2908 N Main Street. The representatives/ employees were not only courteous and professional in everything they did regarding interacting with me but the U-Haul 9' Cargo Van that stood out also. The Cargo Vam was absolutely phenomenal! In so much as the Cargo Van was a newer model van, immaculately clean, and smelled oh so good. I was in heaven the entire time while driving this vehicle. Thank you U-Haul representatives for all that you did for me. Ms. Cortney, and Mr. Will, I pray that the Lord Blesses you greatly for all that you both did for me during and throughout my rental experience this past weekend. Take care. Rented 6x12 enclosed trailer. Clearance lights did not work at all. the employee stated the brake and turn lights work and that's all the lights, the others are reflectors. I gave up trying to explain night time running lights and took the trailer as that was the only one that size. so I had to bring the trailer back a day later cause I could not run at night. When I returned the trailer I connected to another trailer and showed the employee how lights are suppose to work. Told her to write the trailer I used up and she stated there is no one to repair lights, they have asked for help before and told they are backed up and cannot come to make repairs. This is really poor and will not rent from there again until they get some better trailers.Michael R.

The guys who hooked up the trailer to my truck was nice and so was the lady behind the counter. The guy who hooked up the trailer knocked the hitch into my back bumper twice. If this had been an old truck, I wouldn't have said anything but this is a brand new 2019 GMC AT4. Its a $60,000 truck.Tony U.

The door on our uhaul was jammed so you had to play around with it until you could get it to open. Very inconvenient when your trying to move. The truck smelled like the previous renters had a chicken coop in there and it was pretty gross. We were not thrilled at all. When we asked for a different truck they had none available so we had to use the broken one.Violet S.

Contract # 21559856 I was charged for 9 gallons of gas when ONLY traveling 9 miles! When I called, they were suppose to reverse the charges, but instead charged me double, so now I have to WAIT for $120 to be credited to my checking account, which is money I need for this weekend. Representative said tank was full. It was actually several gallons short. I filled it up full anyway so there would be no hassle. I asked for furniture pads and a hand truck. Items not in there. I had to send my daughter to retrieve them. When I came back and told the person checking me in, Courtney said, "I don't care. I get paid the same regardless what you think."EDWARD L.

A 60.00 charge to my debit card was unauthorized and without my knowledge charged without any type of COMMUNICATION with me by the manager. He denied the fact THAT he did it and REFUSED TO LOOK AT THE RECIEPT I had obtained from Corporate. HE WENT BEHIND MY BACK AND CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT WHILE I WAS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. NO RECORDS EXIST FOR THAT TRANSACTION BUT I HAVE AUDIO AND VIDEO OF HIM DENYING THAT HE DID IT... My overall experience with U-Haul was TERRIBLE! The unit (1810) had a horrible odor that developed after the first few days. The smell was much like a dead animal or rodent. But my main problem was the LACK OF COMMUNICATION that existed. Even though I paid my bill I received three (3) "Pre-Lien" letters stating stating I had not paid my bill. When I told the manager he stated "those letters are from Corporate, they don't mean anything, just throw them away." This made no sense. My locks were changed without my notice. I had mold on my things after one weekend. There was so much moisture in the unit Rats/mice droppings aplenty were found in my unit.
