We did everything correctly but they still wanted to charge a 55.00 for not putting enough gas back into the truck. We actually put more in than we used. They finally did remove the charge but they should not have caused us the aggravation.

My reservation was at the Greensboro location, it was moved to the Jamestown location which was closed at the time of pick-up. I found the Highpoint location and they had a trailer which was good, but the lights didn’t work and it wasn’t registered to their location. I had to purchase magnetic lights to get home which scratched my sons car. The staff here were great, but this whole process resulted in a 4 hour delay before my 16 hour drive. I am highly disappointed in U-haul. The receiving dealership has offered a $32 credit if I return the lights, but for nearly $200 I don’t feel I should have had any of these issues.

I told my Granddaughter that this store just became Grandma's "New favorite Hang out". When I saw the mattress coverings with "Handles"...I said I am definitely going to tell everyone about this place... The service was outstanding quick and fast...When we completed our paperwork transaction and asked which truck were wr going to take the store representative said that one was ...and the othet representative had already positioned the truck to role out....turned on the air conditioning and the favorite radio station my Granddaughter's (Twins) like listening to....What an excellent experience and ..outstanding service..Very highly recommended this location.



When I indicate that I do NOT want the hand truck or furniture pads (I have my own of better quality), and then learn that you have a hand truck "mounted" in there, taking up space in the truck that could otherwise be used. and you have a "seal" on the hand truck mount that when broken, means that you are going to charge me for "renting the hand truck"... Is a little wack. I called and spoke to a Uhaul employee about removing it, so that I had the additional space for my furniture, and was informed that if I break the seal I WILL be charged. Next time I will be sure to check the back of the truck before I leave and MAKE the employee break the seal and remove the hand truck before i leave. OR I will rent Penske. and avoid the issue all together.

Online after-hours check-in did not work and the helpline phone service offered no help. I had to return during business hours to return the trailer. NOT the location's fault, but the UHaul organization's, and it was very annoying.

I will never recommend this location or even the company to anyone. Not even someone I dislike. I felt discriminated against when returning the truck I rented. Never again will I get anything from a Uhaul again. Its a sad day when someone with a service animal is told not to enter the store. The employee knew it was a service dog because I told him. This is quite pathetic that a large company would discriminate against someone with a disability. Good job Uhaul. You've lost a customer and hopefully I can help you lose a few more when I post my experience online in various social media outlets. In sure the disabled American veterans would love to hear about this. Maybe even the people who represent people like me who get discriminated against. The ADA states I shouldn't be discriminated against but apparently Uhaul doesn't adhere to those rules and guidelines. Maybe they don't train employees properly or they just hire people who don't care. Either way its not right at all the way I was treated.

To put 1/8 a tank of fuel in the truck cost me $65!!! Really? $35 for fuel and a $30! Service fee??? Let me repeat that I will never do this again and I will make sure that my friends and family don't either.
