I called customer service prior ordering the 20 foot truck. I told them specifically that I have 3 bedroom , alot of patio furniture and also have a storage unit that I need to get stuff. The 20 foot is obviously not enough. We had to take 2 trips with the uhaul truck plus get more family and friends who had trucks to help us move out. Alot of waisted traveling time. I wish the person would have been honest and told us to get the largest truck but Im thinking thats just a scam you guys do so you guys can get your customer to pay extra for the mileage. Instead of making our move easy. You guys made it alot harder. Im so disappointed with your customer service.remy W.

Shari was extremely professional and compassionate and immediately provided a number of contacts to hire for the day. Based on that, I was able to get help within couple hours and my move for the day went smoothly. Cannot thank Shari enough for the help. The pick up and return process went smoothly. Hire more staff... When picking up my truck I sat inside for more than 15mins before being helped. This was AFTER I spoke to someone outside who told me someone was already inside who would assist me. There wasn't... However, once I was helped, the experience was quick and w/o issue... When I returned the vehicle, Sharri was outstanding! Courteous, professional, knowledgeable & a delight to interact with. She answered all my questions & was very helpful. Find more ppl like her & get them on the payroll ASAP!STEVEN K.
The Van with so many preexisting damages (scratches, dents etc). Tire pressure was uneven (with lights on) making it difficult to drive and very dangerous. I am very disappointed with the condition of the vehicle. This vehicle should not be on the roads, especially wobbling when braking.MURALI N.

Only rented our unit for a few months here. First month in a payment was made 2 days after the due date. They placed a notice on our unit even after the payment was made, i was promised a $20 credit which we never received. Prior to moving out we informed the manager, cleaned the unit and took pictures. We received late notices every week and phone calls. Apparently, the manager never communicated with corporate that we moved out. Someone called me saying we haven’t made a payment in “months” when we been out the unit for a whole month already. You can’t ever reach anyone when you need help. Clarity!! I Rented a 10' truck and no idea it did not have a ramp to load. When I called for clarification, The woman I spoke to did not give her name but was extremely rude and nasty! I brought it right back because it was basically useless for me and still was charged full price. (+gas it was a $85 ride in a old crappy truck for nothing). Never again. I will call a mover even if 3x the price! Will never recommend Uhaul ever!!Edward C.

I paid for pads, a dolly and a furniture dolly and they were not provided.Jordana K.
Contract asked to call location when entering Monroe Township. So I called. No one picked up as it went to the automated system. After hearing all the prompts it said my wait was 19 minutes. I called several times. Last call said my wait was 7 minutes so I held. I arrived 5 minutes later. There were no customers onsite. When I entered the office, it was VACANT. I looked around and looked out the side doors thinking the person went to the truck. When I didn't see anyone, I turned to walk back out. As I was almost at the exit, the woman entered from a side door next to the entrance. If customers are asked to call the drop off location before arriving to save time, the person at the location should AT LEAST have a phone on their person to answer the call so they know if/when a customer is arriving. Otherwise, what is the purpose of telling customers to call when no one is answering or is at the site awaiting the arrival to expedite the return of a truck & equipment?!?!MIKE V.

Our reservation was made online we we had some difficulty with it, the pickup locations and the 24/7 app. We are a little older, so trying to log on via phone to a new website doesn't always go smoothly as one would hope. She took my reservation, got us on our way in time for our movers to show up. Really, U Haul, you should give her a raise. Shes the best U Haul employee I have ever met. I placed an order for furniture pads because I was moving very delicate furniture. No one bothered to call or email me that are no furniture pads available. I'm unsure where the mix up occurred, but my initial reservation was made to pick up the vehicle at the Bicycle Rack location in Hightstown. However, when I arrived there the location setting told me I was in the wrong place and to go to Monroe. A little confusing, time consuming, and changed the estimation of miles I would be traveling. Obviously not a reflection of this rental location but rather some app concerns.Katherine M.

The center manager Shari Osadacz was very accommodating when I came in person after I gave up on the 800 number waiting on line for over 20 minutes. She even gave her card and personal number if I can't get through the 800 number. Great personal service and would highly recommend it. DyabDYAB K.
Have my equipment ready for pickup when I come to pick it up. I ordered a truck and 48 blankets. The app wasn't working so I went inside. There was only one person working due to a staffing issue, and I had to wait there for 45 minutes as she grabbed whatever blankets she could find from other trucks and folded them. She told me right away that she didn't have 48 blankets for me. I made my reservation this past Monday, plenty of time to get the right number of moving blankets. The truck was fine, but I shouldn't have to wait for 45 minutes to pick up what I ordered close to a week in advanced.DANIEL C.

We were very pleased with the service we received at the Monroe UHaul location especially after our extremely disappointing experience at the initial pickup location ( Princeton Airport) where we were unable to pick up our truck since they never left the key and the offices were closed!! Even though this made us lose 1.5 hours on our schedule, Shari O. at the Monroe location (as well as Dawn from your Customer Service call center) did everything they could to make things right for us and provided us with excellent customer service which is indeed rare these days- Kudos to them! Also, we were promised a $50 rebate on our contract.MARC S.

The assigned return site was an hour drive from the move site. The access drive off of Rt. 33 was completely block by a tractor trailer delivering supplies to the U-haul yard. The attendant did not properly receive the dropped off truck. Instead I was instructed to park it along the curb and leave the keys in the truck. I asked for paper work and was told I was clear and it would be handled. That then cost me two hours of my time on hold when calling customer service to explain that the truck was returned.ALBERT P.

The location was great BUT the experience prior to that was very upsetting - we were set to pick up a truck in Pittsburgh and found out 6:00 the night before that there were no trucks available so we had to pick the truck up in NJ and drive it to Pitsburgh - having said that you did give us a discount and we appreciate that!Gary H.
The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. She was however completely alone and quite over worked. When I went to drop the vehicle off, she said just to give her the key and she will take care of things. When I didnt get the bill, I called the 1-800-go-uhaul number and they said I have to go back to the Monroe location, since the system was showing that I hadnt returned the vehicle. When I went back, the agent explained to me that she was alone and she was trying to catch up. She completed it then. Corrected that I dont get charged for an extra day and finally I had the bill and contract closed. I did have to pay for the extra miles.RAKESH K.

I moved my items into the one-garage size storage unit and didn't access anything for a year. When I moved out, everything was intact but there was quite a bit of dust, dirt, leaves that had somehow gotten into the unit. Perhaps it's time to install new weather-stripping or whatever needs to be done to stop debris from getting into the units. It was a very pleasant experience. All in all everything was good. The office staff was extremely helpful and professional. The units are excellently priced and a good value for the money I did have to clean out the unit myself with a battery operated yard blower. There was a lot of dirt on the floor and spider eggs on the walls. On Saturday I had to call the office and ask to have a UHaul truck moved that was blocking access to the unit.
