1. Just an observation is that it seems morale is low at this location. Who knows why? Overworked? 2. Poor data/IT system. My account is always impossible to locate on the computer and I've been paying for two storage units for two years. I've used trucks three times in two years and there is always a long delay getting checked in. I'm not blaming the employees— it may be time to change your IT provider. 3. Our windshield was so dirty it was a serious driving hazard. As we were returning the vehicle to UHaul, we were driving directly into the western sun and it was a very dangerous situation because of the dirty windshield. When we talked to an employee on duty , we were told “they are supposed to clean it.” We think a better response would have been “ I will talk to the cleaner about it and I regret you had the experience .” 4. We returned the vehicle after 5pm and could not locate the key drop box. We canvassed the front door and walked all over the lot looking for a place to leave the key. Finally, we locked it into the truck as we could not imagine UHaul not having an extra key. I was called about it and the manager was exasperated with me. He complained to me that he would have to call a locksmith. It is hard for me to imagine that this is the first time UHaul has had this experience. A pretty cheap and easy solution would be to have an extra key. A very cheap solution. In addition, how hard would it be to tell the customer when he signs the contract that there's a drop box on the door?

The truck did not have the 2 dozen furniture pads we had reserved. The clerk was rude and said a reservation is not a guarantee and there was nothing he could do. Only one of the 3 staff were wearing masks. The whole environment did not feel emotionally or physically safe.

The young man who waited on me was the most disrespectful human being I have ever known. I actually told him that I was in fear and felt threatened by the way he treated me. As I approached him for service he sat down and started throwing things. Did not say a word to me other than huffing and puffing his breath - apparently I was not supposed to approach the counter. I did not know that and he did not speak to tell me that. I apologized to him after I realized why he was so upset. It was the worst and scariest experience I have ever had. I would be glad to speak to someone if you wish. I usually don't give my feedback but felt I needed to this time. Thank you so much.

While picking up my truck it was an altercation with a customer and your uhaul employee ....it was a frightening experience especially when the uhaul employee threatened to go to his car didn't know if he meant that to get a weapon or what but I was trying to hurry and leave

Jeremy is awesome. Helped me a couple of weeks ago figure out how the electrical connector worked on my 2004 Land Cruiser. Showed me everything I needed to get everything set up a few weeks later. Fast forward to tonight. I come rolling in after a long 500-mlle day from Greensboro, NC about 30 minutes before closing, needing to turn in a 12x6 double-axle trailer. I was worried that this wouldn't be enough time to get everything checked out. Jeremy got my moving blanket count done, the two dollies checked back in, and lifted the whole dang trailer off of the hitch with ease - all in about 5 minutes. As long as I live in the west Nashville area, this is my go-to for U-Haul rentals.

The pickup truck I had reserved was totalled the day before, I wasn't notified, and this location had no others. The 10' box they offered sufficed but was not ideal for my original purpose. And if you're going to mandate mask wearing inside (I have no issue with that), then tell your employees that wearing them under their chin doesn't cut it. My overall impression was of disgruntled young guys who really didn't want to be there.

The first person I encountered at this location was an employee with no mask giving me an attitude giving m grief Over me trying to hand my printed conformation. I was wearing a mask. She then proceeded to tell coworker she was messing with this guy. No customer service skills. Should not be allowed to to customers or fired for sorry ethics. Will never use this location again

According to the exceptionally friendly and pleasant employee who hooked up my trailer, it had been a very difficult day at the store, for a myriad of reasons. The owner was on a health-related leave, and the Area Manager was working the counter. He was clearly struggling to produce even a modicum of civility, and I had to ask him to repeat nearly everything he said (he had no accent, and I have excellent hearing), but he was mumbling under his breath, rather than engaging with me. I'm a very low-maintenance customer, and I use this store often because of its proximity to my home. I think that management should be held to an even higher standard than “regular” employees, and had I witnessed one of my employees behaving the way this particular manager did, he would have been out the door. This was an isolated incident (and hopefully one I won't be required to repeat).

The experience I had at this location will cause me to NEVER do business with Uhaul again! The staff was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I did not get the storage unit I reserved nor was I able to drop off the 26ft truck I rented as well. This has been the worse experience I have ever been through with a company I have been doing business with for many years. I will be contacting the corporate office in regards to this matter.

My wasn't able to check out via mobile because they double booked my truck. They gave me a 20' truck instead which was way to big and the wipers didn't work plus the passenger side mirror was duck taped in place but still moved while driving so I couldn't see the entire passenger side of the truck making it very dangerous to drive. I will never use I haul again.

Terrible experience trying to get the u-haul, charged for one, wasn't on lot, tried to upsell larger one, tried to charge me higher rate because the employee said it wasn't his fault it wasn't on lot, charged 2nd time for one, told them I was dropping off in 42001 area code - one way trip, when I got to that dealer he said the Nash dealer had charged me incorrect price and the vehicle was an in town vehicle. I've called the dealership to get resolved 3x's & still nothing. I am beyond offended and extremely angry about this. I need a mgt team member to call me!!!!!!!!!! 270.519.0746

Trailer that was given to me had a flat tire and after I left the lot they would not repair it. All i was told was to call the 800 number for road side service. It took over 3 hours for them to arrive. It put me leaving on my trip to the next day. The assistant service manager was rude and not helpful. He just walked away from me without any help. there were other trailers on site that could have been swapped out. i am not pleased at all with their attitude. i have rented from them for years and never had this kind of rude service.

The guy checked me out was unprofessional at all. He was tough with us and looks to me that so.eone forced him to work that day. Also, U-haul employee used to bring you the truck at the front of the facility, this guy gave us the key and told us, you see that truck, you go walk and get it.

Had to wait half an hour to get in because the opening employee was late getting to work. Then, when I went to get my paperwork they said here is the key. Once I got out I checked the gas gauge and it was setting 1/4 of a tank lower than indicated. This is normally an easy fix. Unfortunately the line that had gotten so long that I couldn't spare an extra hour waiting in another line. I am frankly very disappointed with the experience, after being told they would adjust the fuel listed on my contract, but did not. I'm the only thing that saved the experience from being a complete disaster was the kind lady who ended up taking over my order toward the end of my second visit.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean the storage facility was, including the restrooms. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I had a horrible, train wreck of a move and needed a truck and storage unit at the last minute to get our final belongings out of the property and stored while we are able to move into our new home. So glad this facility was open until 7pm and able to take care of our needs at that stressful moment in time! Better yet, extending the truck rental period was as easy as going online and getting it done chatting with an agent.

My checkout process was rushed and involved no damage walkthrough. Truck parked so tightly it was hard to get into and risky to pull out of parking spot. Smelled bad. Surcharged for fuel after returning at original level

Parking is too narrow for trucks. More space is needed at this location. Also was initially told over the phone that cash payment was acceptable, but upon arrival, was told only debit or credit card was accepted. Left to have card loaded, then upon return was told by another employee that cash was accepted. Discrepancy in policies. Everyone needs to be on the same page. I always use this facility when I move, however, because of the convenience and fair pricing.

Was erroneously charged a $25 cleaning fee. I brought the truck back with more gas and had neatly stacked everything in truck bed. I have moved 3 times in 12 months, all with uhaul. Never been charged a cleaning fee. This is unacceptable. Would not recommend this location or personnel to my worst enemy.

To improve, you can have the equipment on hand that you've confirmed previously. You can have a very clear check-out so that I know what I'm actually paying. I've received 3 online statements and honestly don't know how much I've been charged. The equipment was clean and in order as noted, but I would warn anyone renting there to expect something other than what you've been led to believe you've booked online.

The brother who was on shift when I checked in was on his game and very helpful. The Uhaul self checkin feature online completely screwed up my order and also assigned us to the wrong unit. The young man who was working at the time helped situate my family and I quickly and with positive energy. We are grateful for that and will likely be repeats customers all thanks to him.

The actual storage unit was nice. Most of the staff were friendly but some were quite rude. The fees for the unit were absorbient and excessive. The unit should be advertised at the actual rate.

I was told my unit was climate controlled and it was not I would not have gotten it if it was not. Also the entirety of my stay there were spiders and other bugs thats remained in the area. It was never maintained or checked even after I spoke with a staff member.

Online app worked great and was very clear. In person check in was a little confusing. Facility (at least the unit that was available) was too difficult for us to access with heavy furniture. We appreciate the offer of a free month but ultimately had to cancel after checking in due to not meeting our needs.

I was given a free month rental and I found a better long term price across the street. However, this isn't the reason I didn't use your facility. I would have taken the free month if the place was setup for storage. I don't want to ask someone to move a truck every time I go there. Your facility is mostly used to receive rental returns and I didn't want to compete with that traffic while my things are in storage.

My Experience with Hollywood Plaza was great. 👍🏽The only problem I had was when I dropped off my truck in Lynchburg Virginia my truck was on a quarter of a tank was supposed to bring it back on a half of a tank and they changed me $32 Dollars for the gas witch was wrong of them when gas is only $1.49 a gallon here in Lynchburg Virginia,so with that being said I was not pleased.

To be honest, the first round of help was rough, but I want to extend grace due to the awkwardness of Covid-19 and some other circumstances. The lady who finally helped us--and I don't know her name but it started with a J? --well she was GREAT. I want to make sure to pass on kudos where they're due. I"m sorry I don't know her name but I think she was the only woman on staff when we were there, Friday 5/15 at 5pm. I appreciate her help a LOT. The place was pretty busy when we checked in to get our key and see the storage unit. The owners went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of even though they were really busy. It was evident they care. The unit and the whole storage area was very clean plus they had plenty of different things to make use of when transferring items out of our truck to the unit.

You would not believe it, but neither would I - but we have had this storage for the last 10 years! Granted, we spent a lot in total for a relatively small space. But I will tell you about my experience here. 10 years ago I did research on self-storage facilities in Nashville. Even though this one is relatively far for us, I decided to go with it because of its ratings. Well, 10 years later, the place still have good ratings, and the storage fracility is as clean as the day we moved in! It is well managed, very convenient. I especiallty like the electronic access cards. We can go in and out with ease. All in all, I recommend this storage. If we weren't moving away, we would continue here!
