It was difficult to find the trucks, there were homeless people all throughout and the truck had major issues. There was barely any gas in the truck and I had to pick it up at a different location than requested, which resulted in a charge for additional mileage.

I was never sent any information on how to pick up the U-Haul when I went inside they were helpful and checked me out. They didn’t have any utility dollies but still charged me for it.

The young man that took care of me ( black young with long hair) was texting most of the time he was talking care of me, very inappropriate behavior and I was annoyed out of my mind very poor customer service, later when I returned the vehicle I rented an older Hindu guy took care of me he was very good and nice!

we had trouble finding a location to accept the unit we rented. initially the rep at the location we delivered the unit to said he could not accept the unit. He changed his mind and we were allowed to leave the unit. this happened after we check with a couple of locations to see if we could return our unit to their location. i am not sure i would recommend this location to a friend.

Yes I called multiple times to extend my reservation. It was not extended. I got text message saying they were going to report the truck stolen. I physically went to the store went in there spoke to a guy. He said he was going to extend my reservation and a day later I got another text message saying that, they were gonna report a truck stolen again the worst customer service ever

Service at the UHaul in Nashville was perfect and we were very grateful. The one thing I would suggest is that if the drop off location is a virtual drop off using the uhaul app, you may want to warn people about that. I was totally shocked when we dropped off at Midguard at Pawleys Island SC and there were NO PEOPLE there. Only a wall of video when you walk in and then a person pops on the screen and says I have to have the app and return it through the app or it will charge me $20. Well, the app wasn't working when they texted me the download (the verification codes wouldn't verify) so they didn't charge the $20 but we did have to bring in all the blankets, dolly and the 4 wheel dollies ourselves and there was no trash can there. When I asked about the trash the response I got was that they don't accept trash at the business (I wanted to throw away a fast food bag and one of the plastic bags from the furniture pads). When I asked why they didn't have people they said they could cover more stores this way (virtually) and why pay someone to be there just to wait for a customer to come in (or something like that). I told them my mother receives the physical paper every day even though she reads it online because she wants the paper person to have job. There were computers on the desk behind the counter etc but they don't have any employees there anymore. It was a surprise.

I reserved a truck, 10 blankets and a dolly. Only the truck was available. I had to goto 3 locations to find a dolly, only found 4 blankets. I was told at my original location that I could keep the dolly from the other location with the truck and use it for my unpack. Well, hell no, dude would not let us do that so I had to return the dolly before heading on my trip (opposite direction too). U-Haul is one big company, or so you market that to us, but you act like a puny, misguided mom & pop store. Thanks for adding stress and time to my move. How do you stay in business? The gentleman’s that helped me when I went to pick up the truck were very friendly. The one in particular I don’t know his name is very young. Very knowledgeable. Explained everything to me very good. Only has it for about two hours. When I returned it, you have to sit with your equipment the guys that came out very quickly. One of them were checking me out and the other came over and started cleaning the inside of the truck very thorough. They get 10 stars for me. This is my second time running from there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else thank you U-Haul.

This is BULLSHIT!!!!… How do you charge a relocation fee for $200 or $300 dollars l.. Life circumstances happens.. We don’t have control of our lives ok I couldn’t drop the truck off cause I would’ve had a ride home.. So I had one of my daughters and her boyfriend to drop the truck off for me but my daughter took it to a location, that was 6mins away from the location I picked the truck up from.. I tried explaining this situation with Uhaul but no one was trying to understand my situation… I don’t feel this is right and I also feel like this is a ripoff,to be charging customers this large amount for a relocation fee..It’s not like my daughter dropped it off in another state.. It was still in Nashville area..I will not rent another truck from Uhaul !!…. This is ridiculous $200 and the truck is still in Nashville,what kind of ripoff?BULLSHIT, is THIS!!!!!!….. I’m going to see what I can have done about this

Manager was great and doing the best he can. The system was giving them problems, and an employee was vocal that this isn’t a new issue. They seemed overworked and disorganized (notes written on napkins and taped to the counter in order of priority, not sure of their inventory so they checked the lot with keys in hand, etc..). They honestly did a great job with what they are working with, but headquarters should probably step in and see what they could do to oil the machine before someone quits or has a heart attack. I don’t know how hands on this company is, but as a restaurant GM I would want to hear this feedback too. Thanks for the wheels!

I picked up the truck with 95 miles of gas remaining according to the display on the dash. I returned the truck with over 260 miles of gas remaining but I didn’t expect any rebate for the gas I gave you. I received a second receipt that stated U-Haul charged me an additional $2.60 for going over mileage by 2.6 miles. This seems very petty since to me, you already made out with this transaction. was given a different trailer other than the one on contract as the trailer # RV1445M was not on the lot when I arrived. I used the trailer I was assigned and returned it to the same Nashville location where I picked it up. Upon return i asked for a receipt and was told it would be emailed. The receipt shows charges for the original trailer with a wrong destination charge which inflated my bill by more than $200. Absolutely terrible customer care from this company. I need someone to reach out to me and correct my bill.

I turned the truck in on Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. There were too many rentals being turned in and too many people trying to check out new rentals for the size of the staff. I was told my truck would be checked in but the staff was unfortunately not able to do that until approximately 4 hours later. More staff should be scheduled for busy weekends like this.

Although not here fault the computer system needs to be revamped. Took way longer then expected and ate into some of my day because of computer issues. Previous management started charging me for late fees when he had my credit card for automatic payment and was not easy to get through his head that that Uhaul was the problem. Then, I think it is client manipulation to keep raising the fees significantly every 6 months. I would strongly caution anyone I knew that this is the way it works.

A very busy facility. A few times there was no space for my vehicle due to the amount of on site rental equipment. Other than those 3 or 4 times over almost two months our experience met our expectations and the managers were both very hard working and willing to be available.

I doubt I’d ever use this particular U-haul (Annex Ave Nashville) again. My reason is the ramp that goes up to the 3rd floor is dangerously steep. Getting a cart (even empty) up there is hard enough but coming down is difficult and scary. I had to hire someone to help me when I could have done it myself. I’m surprised there is no warning/ caution sign. If I had tried to come down with a full (or even half full) cart, I have no doubt that I would’ve been run over and seriously hurt. I see it as a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Mohan was a delight. I called on my way from San Diego asking if it was ok to change locations for a drop off. He was so nice over the phone and helped me immensely once I arrived at the store. Didn’t know the security code had to be entered on side of the bldg FIRST. That needs to be listed clearly in the process/directions. Sent significant other to drop off some things to storage & the door code “wouldn’t work”. Keep in mind this is the first time either of us has tried to access the unit. He went inside and spoke to RAVI to get assistance with the security code not working to open the outer door: Ravi, he is the WORST PERSON EVER. Instead of listening to my boyfriend’s situation and understanding that he needed to “check-in” to the storage via the keypad on the outside wall, I ended up having to drive down to the facility, a 20 min drive that I didn’t have time to make, to “Add” my boyfriend as a contact, authorized user or some crap. While I was there OBVIOUSLY upset, a younger guy listens to the situation and was like “did you check in?” In 30 seconds the younger guy listened and understood what that jerk Ravi couldn’t comprehend and took us through horribly unnecessary stress.

2 hours at this location after being gave 3 different instructions and numerous calls to u-haul only to be sent to another location. 1) order over phone told main floor. 2) got there to be told nothing available on main floor. 3) watched young teen sit on phone while manager did everything including make me wait after having my info as he waited on other customers. 4) finally sent teen to look at possible units who got lost. 5) manager finally tells me to call u-haul and ask for help. 6) u-haul tells me to reserve online. 7) ordered online and was gave a 2nd floor unit. 8) told them that would not work washer, dryer, deep freeze etc. Large heavy items can't go up and down stairs. 9) manager advises found 1st floor unit wants u-haul to change one assigned to said unit. 10) they advise the manager would have to. 11) manager has to call u-haul because it wouldn't let him. 12) unit already reserved but not showing as such in system. 13) back to square 1. 14) lady on phone finds 2 smaller units at another u-haul location 30 minutes across town (note: now in rush hour traffic and an hour away from my home. 15) go anyway to find a lobby full of people waiting to be serviced. Mind you this is after loading and pulling 2 u-haul trailers from Lebanon MO. I could go on and on about the horrible service and the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing.

I moved a lot of my things in after the Nashville tornado. Then the pandemic hit and a lot of other life events, and my belongings have been safe and clean for over a year in this storage unit. It was one less thing to worry about knowing that my things were being well taken care of until I was ready to retrieve them. Thank you for one less thing to worry about in a very crazy year!

This facility is a cheap metal building set up like a maze. It’s impossible to find a unit and once we finally did, we couldn’t believe how cheaply made it was. I wouldn’t entrust my belongings to such a shoddy building. We didn’t move in, cancelled our reservation and went elsewhere into an actual solid, brick and mortar building.

There was a flood approximately 10 days before I picked up my belongings. I had soaked boxes, rugs, and furniture. No one notified me. They were aware because there were dozens of moving blankets in the corridors and entrance to soak up the water. I worry about units next to mine that we’re hit even worse with the flood waters. I now have a uhaul truck stinkinking of mildew and soaked belongings that I am getting to dryer environs where I will have the opportunity to assess the damage. Please let other unit renters know before they suffer 100percent loss!! I was given the insurance number to call and will do so after truck is unloaded and soaked items unpacked so I can assess the condition of belongings. In the mean time the rugs are hanging on makeshift clothes lines in the truck so a little air can circulate. Helen K Campbell. 970-531-2038

It has been an awesome experience so far. I did everything online but an employee there explained everything and walked me to my unit. And showed me where everything was.... how to sign in where the carts were etc she was awesome! Facility was VERY clean and the bathrooms were even clean and fancy! Glad I found this place!

Perfect experience having storage here. The only problem I ever ran into was that they waxed the floors one day and didn't give notice, so I drove 30 minutes to my unit and wasn't able to access it.
