Make sure the restrooms are clean and well appointed...ample supply of toilet and seat paper. Bathroom has leaking faucet resulting with many gallons of water being wasted. Simple washer fix which needs attention. Other than above. total U-Haul experience at this location has been very positive - friendly, helpful staff. Would easily recommend this location to anyone I know.

Booked my truck through Uhaul.com. Easy as 1-2-3. however, at pick up time equipment was listed as not available. Had to come in for a face to face transaction.

Worst experience I have ever had. First off I rented a 20’ truck about a week ago for Sunday the 18th. I received a phone call Friday night confirming my pick up Saturday morning (which it was for Sunday). They apologized and stood corrected by me, that it was in fact Sunday morning at 8am. I asked many questions to make sure I wasn’t wasting anytime on the one day I had off and paying a mover I was bringing. I was told they would send me a pin code at 8am that I could get the truck, even though they didn’t open till 9am. He assured me that the truck was available and it was mine at 8am. Now, getting to the morning of Sunday.... I drove a half an hour to U-haul and got there at 7:45am in Yonkers at 937 Saw Mill River Road. I was trying to log into the U-Haul app and get the code to unlock the truck and be on my way. It kept showing an error message saying it was scheduled for hand delivery at 9am and I needed to wait till they opened (which it wasn’t). So i waited till 8am thinking I would maybe get an email, nothing came. I called the costumer service line (914-965-0001) and waited for 25 minutes on hold for someone to pick up and assist me. Her name was Maria Alvarez. She was nice and seemed like she was trying to help. She apologized and told me that the truck was never received back or was overbooked, she said that there was no other available trucks that day at that U-Haul. She searched nearby and found there was a 17’ truck at another U-Haul 10 minutes away (155 Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers), so she set it up and said I could pin in and take the truck from that location. I went through the U-Haul verification process and taking a picture of my license, which at the end of this, it said “It looks like a piece of equipment has not been assigned for this reservation. At this point I was livid, it was now, 8:50am I had a mover I was paying by the hour since 8:15 waiting at my house for me. I then drove back to the original location I had my first appointment at (937 Saw Mill River Road) and it had just opened, it was 9:05am at this point. I told the girl who helped me about my whole morning. She said, sorry she couldn’t get me the 20’ truck I already had reserved. She said they never returned it (seems a little strange). Then offered me a 17’ truck. It was the only day I had off that I could possibly move, and I took off work to do so, so of course, I said I would take the truck, while not having any other options. I hurried out, and took the truck. After being on the road for 5 minutes, I checked the contract and saw the odometer read 144213.9 miles. The Mileage out on the contract was listed as 144186.3. So, even if I drove 3 miles in 5 minutes, they were charging me 24 miles more than they should have (which at 1.49/mi is about 36 extra dollars). This truly was a nightmare experience and my one soul day to move in was horrible. I didn’t finish moving in until very very late last night.

I usudky use the Uhsul st 155 Saw Mill River Road but had to use this location due to truck availability. I would use them again as the staff was so quick to complete my reservation. Great customer service skills here and adequately staffed. Also great teamwork here.

This facility was not secure and did not require any access card to enter. The door always opened and when it was brought to the managers attention more than once unfortunately she did not resolve it.

It's a very convient location to use and the 24/7 gate key works great for those who is never around to get in the unit during business regular hours.

Cool staff. I dont like the storage units that are overhead. Seems dangerous and you guys avertise the storage prices for those and not the ground level ones.
