I found all my needs for moving. Rented a truck twice. Eventhough one of the rental trucks had water leak but they accomodated me with another truck with no issues. Eventhouth the process of moving can be very stressful. The uhaul did not add to the stress .

When registered for a truck at one location showing available only to be told it's not available so they can up charge for mileage. It should be prorated you the original rental location instead of robbing customers

Only issue is the EZ fuel sales charge which goes completely unmentioned while reserving online. Unless you read the entire contract on the text message they send you, you wouldn't know. Other than that, a smooth rental at this location.

Shocking that what you call a reservation isn't. 19 hours before truck pickup I got a text saying no trucks were available. Was on phone for 1 hour. Was told no trucks that size were available, no 1-way rentals, and now twice the price. This added 3 hours to our day. This policy is just wrong. I would not use or recommend UHaul.

My experience was great, flawless. The staff were very helpful and personable. They assisted me when complete the pickup process in no time. The vehicle was clean, even though it was manual drive acceptable. My move was quick, just a couple of hours, and I returned the vehicle in time and straight away the staff checked me out and sent me on my way! I'll use them again!

I do not like at all that you put my license on the Internet by having to take a picture on my phone that is putting my security and my identification at risk and we never had to do that for many many years that I rented AMU haul and there needs to be a better way secondly the return they told me just drop the key in the window and after I dropped the key in the window then I see a sign telling me I have to do something on the phone what happens if my phones not working right what happens of a man getting reception what happened to the old fashioned way of just putting in a piece of paper with the ID keep it simple then I was making phone calls trying to reach someone to let them know that I could not get the app to work it became out nor deal it's supposed to be making it simpler and you're invading on my identity your of aiding on my security and you made it on my time while with a good Van and N clean and everything the process to log in and log out in the keys and not no one told me about this app coming back and it just never worked you need to fix that whole procedure simplify always remember the words simplify without whiskies security

Show the proposed rental to the customer. Explain the following: refilling gas tank, toll paying process, vehicle breakdown process, have the vehicle ready for pickup to avoid delays. Updating and sending agreement to customer when changes are made. Overall bad rental experience.

i said I will use the vehicle for 100 miles - ended up using 200 miles and therefore was overcharged for the remaining. Should I have said 200 miles upfront to reduce cost. Can we please refund if possible as this was the first time I used UHAUL

Terrible customer service after I called to check why I was charged for gas after I did put gas in prior to return. I was told I returned with 3/4 tank but took it with 13/16th. Really.... 1/16. Not right o asked for the person on the phone for his name several times and he would not give it to me . I will be posting on Yelp my negative review. And the gas refill scam you are conducting

Interpersonal skill was good. They were very pleasant and approachable. The equipment on the other was not well maintained. It needed an alignment and felt that I was going to lose control of the equipment past 50 miles per hour which made my trip longer. It was a scary drive. I informed the only working staff who was very nice and understanding about the issues. He assured that he was going to inform his boss.

Your Manager, Angel, was very courteous and patient. I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this facility. Even the attendant that pulled the van out and checked it over was courteous and thorough in the rain.

When we arrived to pick up our Uhaul, we had a question regarding whether the price of a 10 or 15 foot truck is different. The employee could not adequately answer this question, and took no responsibility for helping us figure it out, instead advising us to call the previous customer service representative to find out, merely to answer the question of (in our situation) whether the discrepency between the estimated cost of our trip versus the amount we ended up getting charged (for a smaller truck) was correct or not. Every customer who shows up and gets a smaller truck than what they requested is going to want to ensure that the amount they end up paying is proper for the truck they get. This seemed to be a simple question/issue that an employee at Uhaul should know the answer to or be helpful in regards to.

Good evening, Today was suppose to be a joyful day. Moving in to my first home was suppose to be an exciting experience however my experience with our uhaul rental was nothing but a DISASTER. It all began when I arrived at 5:55 am to-pick up my reserved truck. the plan was to get an early start unfortunately trucks were parked in the driveway so I couldn't get to mine. Store opened at 7:00 am by 8:00 am I was out of there. Still very excited to drive this 20' truck to this new chapter in my life. The truck turned off 3 times on our route of 40 minutes to and 2 times on our way back, check engine light came on and out was leaking. I called the office and was told to call roadside assistance. It was 95 degrees today I was not going to wait over an hour for them. i managed to turn the truck back on every time however my excitement turned into fear and exhaustion. When I returned the truck there was no attempt to discount or acknowledge what a day I had. Customer service not at its best, they can to better.

The staff at this location were all wonderful but my overall Uhaul experience was an absolute nightmare. I reserved a truck from Yorktown 3 1/2 weeks before the date I needed it only to be told 15 minutes before pickup that it hadn't been returned by the previous user. I was told to come back in an hour only to still not have a truck and to be told they had no idea when it would be returned. I was left to scramble to find another option (the staff in Yorktown could not have been more useless or less apologetic) and ended up in Yonkers. While the staff there were great, it meant that my trip was delayed by two hours and the route I was supposed to take was no longer an option. I ended up in rush hour traffic that resulted in it taking 2 1/2 hours to travel 10 miles. Uhaul customer service was underwhelming and I am very disappointed in my overall experience.

Everyone at the Uhaul(937 Saw mill river rd, Yonkers) was Courteous and helpful. When I arrived to rent a Van I was greeted and taken care up immediately. I was explained in detail about the contract and sent on my way. Great experience!! Kudos for Uhaul at that location. Staff was awesome!

I only feel positive about this U-Haul storage facility. I missed it as soon as I walked out the door. But I needed it for the last 8 months because I closed a retail business and had to find a new home for all my belongings, and I was able to work these belongings into my current apartment over these 8 months.

I was lied to on my initial visit to rent a 5x10x8 storage unit to move into the next day. I had asked for a first floor unit, climate controlled area so I can easily and comfortably move my furniture in and out as needed. I was offered the 69.95 monthly promo for a 5x10x8, with free 1st month along with a uhaul cargo van rental. So I get there yesterday morning and find out that the first floor unit is only accessible with a rolling ladder and the area is onlt heated. I was not told this the day before so I didn't search for other options. It was impossible to get any of the furniture up the rolling ladder into the unit and on an extremely hot day a climate controlled area would make the job easier. And my only other option for what I wanted was a bottom unit at 144.95. This was a lie and of course a classic bait and switch. So I cancelled my contract and went right next door to Public Storage and got a real 5x10x8 in a climate controlled area and just wheeled my furniture in, in less than a half hour. 57.95 a month, just no 1st month free. I would never consider uhaul storage again. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my time on a real hot day.
