This is by far the most uncoordinated location I have ever been to. My order that was placed was never posted to my online account, but rather a completely different order was (stated as cancelled, do not know how it originated). I was never asked if I wanted to receive the insurance protection, which from my history with Uhaul I know is something they ALWAYS ask you. After leaving, we noticed the trailer lights weren't working - I called the store to inform them, and the associates were aware and sent us off like that! I was also scheduled for an after hours return - since there was no history of my order, I could not complete the process and had to email the GM of the location the details (mileage, gas, etc.). Lastly, since the completion of my order, I have been placed for another order (which I never made and had to call to cancel) and placed for maintaining the UBox storage, even though I explicitly stated it would be cleaned out and returned with no further need, now which I am having to call the location once again to deal with. This location needs a serious upgrade to the personel working to ensure customers get the same service they do everywhere else.

Keep the store open later. Also, if a customer was promised a rebate for an inconvenience by U-Haul customer service, it should be required that the customer get the rebate upon payment at the U-Haul location and then let them worry about chasing corporate down for the money instead of the customer. This makes the customer see not only the U-Haul location in a good light but also U-Haul as a whole. If you make things as easy and hassle free as possible for the customer, even if you take a bit of a loss that day, it will pay off tenfold by word of mouth that you are a good company.

They should check the trucks better before renting them, because the truck that I got had a nail on the front tire and I had to have it fix before the trip, it was a waste of time...

I was originally supposed to return the truck at a different location. They told me they don't have enough space and I have to bring it to another location. I went there and the guy there told me he had to check with his supervisor if I can return there because he is short on space too. He was gone for 10-15 min before coming back and returning the truck. Due to all this, the return time was about 20 min overdue so then they proceed to charge for another day even when I explained all this to the guy who processed the return. Extremely disappointed and will never use UHaul again. At least Budget is transparent.

I called the uhaul customer service number and I was given this uhaul based on my zip code. The location isn't the issue, the customer service line is what made me become aggravated with uhaul. I was told a price of .75 cents a mile only to be told that The price is actually 1.40 a mile. Going with a different service next time.

I had a horrible experience all around with this rental I booked to pick up at white plains New York then the day before I am to pick up I'm told I have to pick up at Stamford Connecticut a whole mother state in which yes it may be 35 miles however it would have taken me a minimum of 31/2-4 hrs round trip just to pick up the uhaul after speaking with several people on the phone that day I finally got to pick it up at Yonkers New York. I originally booked for 8 AM then I was told no you're to pick up at 10 AM then again I was told 9 AM I showed up at 9 AM in Yonkers New York to pick up my U-Haul a plan picking up and the guy attaching the U-Haul to my vehicle do you haul was very worn down rusted out the tires are completely bald not to mention the inside smelled like rotting fish. The man at the U-Haul tried to clean it out did not help the smell it was absolutely awful I was going to have to leave my clothes and everything that was in my room in this U-Haul for several days in the heat I asked for a different one that was sitting there I was told I could not have it but it was for someone else then after all said and done the lights wouldn't work on that U-Haul so I ended up getting the other U-Haul which was much better Steven who is at the Yonkers Location was great. Then I was supposed to drop it off on this past Saturday the 17th in South Hampton's whenever I called to verify that I was told they are not excepting any more that I am to take it to Montauk which once again is very far out of my way I drop the U-Haul off on Montauk highway with the guy telling me I didn't have to sign anything just to leave I felt very uncomfortable with that not having any sort of paperwork so I had to once again call and get that verified to be able to leave comfortably the whole experience was kind of a nightmare and I will definitely not recommend these locations to anyone
