I used the online check in because you describe it as "time saving" and that I would not have to give a $10/hour employee my drivers license nor credit card. Neither of those statements is true. He insisted that I give him my cards and it took forever for him to go through doing everything that I had already done online. Either your web site is incorrect and has lies on it or your employees do not know how to do their job. The trailer itself was adequate and did the job. They are grossly overbuilt and tow like pigs but you know that.Anthony H.

The only downside is that I ask for a unit of the same size that I have already, they said ok, but when my husband went to the storage and started to put our belongings inside the unit, he realized that it was not the same size. Counter person was kurt, snarky, impatient, unwilling to adjust the volume of his voice for a hearing impaired customer making the whole transaction a torturous experience. We were forced to do all of the tasks alone usually performed with a human being such as vehicle controls, spending 20.minutes going over all the damage and taking pictures of your truck and uploading them, checking that everything worked, etc. The first truck had a check engine issue, but the "maintenance man" still tried to make us take it even though he admitted he had no idea why the light was on which was outrageously unsafe and negligent. The whole experience was terrible but for one thing. The facility was impressive, but we prefer customer service and human interaction, not robotic unempathetic stiffs who are just there to collect a paycheck. Horrible. But thanks for the truck.TOBA T.

All staff have been unfailingly nice. Costs, options, and everything else were thoroughly explained to me. The storage units are very clean. Entry to the storage area is slightly funky. I like being able to pull my car into the garage area - a big plus. But then the elevator is raised up above the parking area, and you have to overcome ?15 or 20 inches to get your stuff to elevator level. Not a problem for boxes or small items, but big pieces of furniture might present a challenge. A ramp would be great. This is a well-managed facility. Prices are the only reasonable ones in the area - a great deal for such clean and well-monitored storage units. Also, U-Haul boxes are heavy duty AND the company makes it easy to recycle them, giving other customers a chance to re-use boxes. Save money, help the planet. Two weeks in a row I rented first a truck , then a van. Everything went smoothly both times. Both vehicles were clean when given to me. The truck was equipped with blankets, two types of dolleys and a hand truck. The return of both vehicles was in and out. A detail receipt was emailed to me the very next morning. I would like to see a couple of changes: 1. The concrete path to my unit includes a discrepancy in height between one section and another of about 2 inches which produces quite a jolt when moving the cart over it, This could be easily smoothed. 2. Some carts have wobbly wheels which produces a lot of up and down motion with the cart. Both of these things are worrisome when fragile/breakable items are being transported even when they are well packed, especially the jolt in issue #1.CMT H. | First Impressions

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly from the counter person to the equipment receiver. What ever the manager is doing to keep his employees so approachable and helpful keep it up KUDOS. The truck was below 1/4 fuel on the gauge and was at a different location than the guaranteed pick up location - which is why I went with a 26' truck instead of a 16' truck. I left the fuel tank at the same place (just below 1/4) and was charged $60 at drop off. The fuel process only benefits UHaul as if it's full there's no question, but if it's below full it's either going to come out of the customers pocket if above the level or below. I'd like to hear from a UHaul rep about a refund of the $60 charge. It's stressful renting a truck and driving across the country and this makes it more so. I asked why the truck wasn't full of fuel and they said it's not required of them.WALTER W.

The person who I dealt with could not have been more rude. He spoke absurdly fast and unclearly and refused to explain the details in a clear way when asked. Then when he walked outside, he said nothing, started a van, and then got into another van without saying anything to us as far as whether the van he started was supposed to me mine - gave us no paperwork and no mention of where to get a receipt and just walked off and left a van running next to us. I had to go back inside and ask another person to assist us. He was absolutely rude and needs anger management. So nasty.Jennifer M.
