Everyone who helped me at this location was excellent. When I picked up the vehicle and equipment the person (sorry, don’t remember her name) was very friendly, helpful and professional. The handtruck I requested wasn’t available so she substituted with no problem! When I dropped off Donnie and Erlinda quickly checked me in. They were both very friendly, helpful and professional! I will definitely come here again!

The lady that assisted me...Was very competent and helpful. I was surprised that she called me on Saturday night to let me know you were closing and that I could still rent the vehicle via an App. Unfortunately, we were stuck in a traffic jam that closed all eastbound lanes and caused us to be grossly late for our 6:45 pm deadline to ren the vehicle. Then, by chance, the next morning when I went to settle the payment, she (unknown to me) was the one the checked us out. A very nice person and very easy to communicate with. And likely, the reason i would go back to this location or U-haul in general, to rent a moving truck.

I am AWAYS pleased with the service that your staff provides. I had purchased a trailer hitch from UHaul 5+ years ago, which I do not keep on my 4Runner. So when I come in, your personnel assist me by installing it and connecting the various different wires for the lights etc. We (my husband) and I use your services four times a year to haul our dog's kennel cages from our homes to the airport cargo locations. THANK YOU FOR HAVING SUCH CONVENIENT LOCATIONS.

You added all of this persons information in Hawaii to my email address and put their reservation under my email. Im Irvin Hawman. I live in Indiana. I removed their phone number, address, and drivers license from my profile. I canceled their first reservation and i got an email that im supposed to be getting $50 because of reservation guarantee. I hope their move went well and it doesn't happen again.

The price was steep. For 28 total hours of rental plus $49 in gas, I spent $253. I only drove a total of 41 miles. Broken down to a per mile expense (without considering gasoline), I was charged nearly $5 per mile. At a per hour expense, I was charged a little over $7 per hour. I am glad that I did not need to drive further.

The Engine light went on. Otherwise the equipment was clean and well maintained. The sales rep, "Mandi" was amazing! She was friendly, efficient and understanding. create customer parking on site instead of street parking. The mothers attic space had a small leak from unknown location that allowed water seepage allowing the water to pond & soak my cardboard boxes stored there during transport on a rainy day. Other than that unforseen event, my overall experience was exceptional, Perfect size for my usage! Great customer service! Awesome check in and checkout service, as it was quick, personalized and filled with Aloha for me being their customer! Thanks to Rodney, my service rep who helped me on pickup and return!

I rented a van and attachment to tow my vehicle. The only issue we came across, when securing the tires on the tow attachment, the strap to secure the tires had gotten shorter due to it had been cut and wasn’t able to secure one side. For safety, I think equipment should be checked everyday, and not taken for granted, it needs to be in good condition. If I had to tow my vehicle over 10 miles, something could’ve happened very seriously, injuring others on the road. Overall, I enjoy renting from U-Haul, courteous people at the Kilihau and Ahua department.

Personnel need training in common courtesy for all customers. I noted a distinct difference (friendly and polite vs dismissive and condescending) in how the U-Haul staff treated customers based on demographics, i.e., not so courteous to kupuna. I won’t be a future customer, but apparently Uhaul has enough customers to behave in this way.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received when returning my rental truck. Despite returning the vehicle clean and with a full tank of gas, I encountered an issue with a flat tire upon arrival. Rather than handling the situation professionally, the manager spoke to me with an inappropriate, overly casual tone—treating me more like a "homie on the street" than a paying customer. She repeatedly demanded to know what happened to the tire and accused me of "creating problems" for her. I explained that road hazards are unpredictable and can happen to anyone. Furthermore, I had purchased full coverage specifically to handle these types of situations. The manager's confrontational attitude and lack of professional boundaries made for a very weird and uncomfortable conversation. I expect a higher standard of communication from your staff, especially when a customer has fulfilled all their obligations regarding the rental agreement.

Slow customer service to get started. Once the process gets going it’s easy and straightforward. However if they have to fix something or change something good luck. Trailer was missing a lug nut and it was almost 20 minutes to fix it. It’s not like they are under staffed either just nobody wants to work. Third time at this location in 6 months and it’s always something.

Considering the reasonable price, I wouldn’t say the climate control was perfect. However, I stored my belongings here for about a year and a half, and there was no damage at all, so overall it felt safe and reliable. About the staff, roughly half were friendly, while the other half felt rather indifferent. I wouldn’t describe the overall impression as particularly warm. Especially near closing time, a few minutes before the official end, some staff members started closing the store very quickly without saying a word, which felt a bit uncomfortable. That said, one staff member — a woman with noticeable tattoos — was exceptionally kind, helpful, and genuinely warm. Her attitude stood out clearly. If she were the manager, I believe this location would become a much better place. I personally run a bar in Waikiki, and honestly, she is someone I would want to hire.

The manager would say what was convenient for him not by company rules, policy. When confronted back to what he had mentioned he would deny what was said or mentioned it was a misunderstanding. The maintenance kept the place clean, it was the workers that could do their part in cleaning. This is called Team work.

Everyone that worked there was amazing. I wouldn't use this location again though. My friend pays less money in Kapolei and has a super nice storage unit with his own light in it. If I had a light in mine then it would've made a huge difference. There was light in the hallways but no light in the storage unit so I could never see any of my things. I literally had to use the flashlight on my phone. Very inconvenient when moving things. This reason alone I would not rent here again. What I didn't like and I could get over is also the ease of access. Having to swipe the card twice is a hassle and the system wouldn't recognize it half of the time so you'd have to repeat. You also had to swipe in two different machine. My friends storage place allows you access by you entering a pin you create. So much easier.

Everything about the U-Haul facility on 2722 Kilihau St and its employees & management were very pleasing in every way. Rodney and the team very helpful in caring for and accommodating for the needs of their customers. What I personally noticed was the effort put into keeping a customer pleased. whether it be using one of their many rental vehicles or changing your storage units to better suit your needs, the employees at U-Haul Nimitz were helpful in every way and more.....I would rate them 8 out of 10 🌟 stars if that were an option because their price is a little steeper then the more rinky dink storage facilities around. Very deserving of a 5 star 🌟 rating.

I would recommend Iwelli U-HAUL storage, to anyone looking for a safe, secure, and clean facility to store their belongings. The staff is awesome beyond words. Rodney is a gem within your employees. I went there earlier this week mentioning I had used the phone to order 2 storage units. Rodney asked to verify the info, and, sure enough, one of the storage units dod not exist. He then found a large enough storage unit that I did not need two. Then he canceled the inaccurate order and put me on the new storage unit. Give this man a raise.

The staff was friendly but very short-handed. When you don't hire enough workers it makes for a very long wait. They are not moving slow, it is usually only one person there! Also, it was very frustrating to get into the storage facility because we would have to swipe the card over and over to get in and there was nothing wrong with my card and I saw it happening to other people. Your security is good, but don't keep your customers out too!

I made a reservation online and called customer service to confirm my reservation. When i got to the facility, they had no record of my reservation, except for my credit card. My card was on file, but NOTHING else, so they were prepared to charge me, but I had to repeat the process to reserve for a third time since the first two times were not good enough. The supervisor of the employee helping me was not very helpful and they let her struggle and it took over 30 minutes for me to REDO my reservation. Waste of time and then they forgot my dolly and made the swipe card wrong for the facility. Will not use Uhaul again after my one month of storage is up.

Besides there is a lot of homeless people at the facility, there were always dead bugs on top of our boxes. There were small moths flying around. We have clothes in some of the boxes, we can't afford moths in our clothes. I'm sorry Rodney, your crew is awesome, but the storage facility itself did not meet my expectations.

Your facility smelled of pesticide and made me feel ill each time I went in. Why do you charge for an entire month of storage, when the storage space is only utilized for 11 days. Rip Off!

Vanessa was a particularly big help. Her helpful attitude was shown when she helped me unlock a disc lock on my storage unit that I could not unlock. Without her help my move would have failed.

The haul used it complete trash. I have up my unit the month of my last unit. I have talked to 4/5 people about it and no resolve. 15+ months ago I believe. They kept charging me. I'll never recommend
