The lady who checked me in was awesome. I believe her name was Erlinda. She got me in and out of there quickly and efficiently. She made my overall experience a great one. The only thing I would suggest is to have the trucks topped off with fuel. That way it'll be easier to just fill it all the way up before returning it. It was a little hard to judge the amount is fuel I had to put back in since it was given to me with under a half tank. Other than that, thank you for making my move a lot easier. Aloha

Awesome Customer Service from start to finish!

Frustrating experience, not necessarily with the location, but with the company's procedures overall. I called a local number to reserve a truck but was forwarded to a national call center. Call center rep said I had a reservation for a specific location closer to me, only to find out on pickup that it was setup for the location by the airport. Went to the airport location, only to be informed by staff that the confirmation number wasn't enough, and that I had to redo the check in process to receive a specific truck number from the national office. Was quoted mileage fees of $0.99/ mile over the phone, but then told $1.19/mile at the store. Local staff was otherwise mostly helpful, and seemed to be doing their best to alleviate the issues for the visibly frustrated customers in line in front of me, all of which were having similar check in problems. Online check in process seems fundamentally broken. Don't remember having any issues like this with renting trucks in the past.
When returning the vehicle, the attendant did not acknowledge my return instead was in â€œCovid 19, etc. conversation with another customer. I went inside the store to let the employee know. Better return process needed.
The online checkin and truck rental wasnâ€™t user friendly. They need to update the online features so that customers donâ€™t have to wait in line to rent a truck.
the van offered a lot of room and it was good on the road and well maintained. Thank you!

The experience on this location is great, though my original reservation from Hawaii Kai sucks. My pick up is 5:30 pm and I should be able to pick it up even when the location is closed per the website. I called customer service, was on hold for a looooong time, before I spoke and got passed on to three different people. They told me that the truck Iâ€™m renting wasnâ€™t returned in time so it wasnâ€™t prepared. I think I deserve the 50 dollar rental assurance for this one. The second customer service dropped my call, the third was really helpful and assisted me to another location, which Iâ€™m by the way an hour late from my pick up appointment:(

I rent a vehicle maybe 1-2 times a decade, and this location met my needs. All staff I interacted with at pick-up and drop-off were great.

The customer service was incredibly excellent from the beginning and the representative that I spoke with was very kind and helped me with everything that I needed. Moving can be a stressful process, especially with COVID-19 going on right now, but I am extremely thankful that this part of the process was seamless and not as expensive as other companies! Not to mention, the 24-hour drop off is of utmost importance, especially when families donâ€™t have time during the day to move their belongings, and we can pick up our rental truck in the evening and drop off in the evening as well. Thank you to the Uhaul staff and Sheila who helped make this rental process so easy and convenient!!!! Weâ€™ll be coming back for any future moving needs for sure!!

I was shocked and uncomfortable on the way I was treated and the wait time when I arrived at this location. My experience with the general manager, Rodney Doronio was terrible. It was so bad, I wonâ€™t recommend my enemies there! He made me feel that he was prejudice against me. He was rude and very unprofessional! I do not want him to ever service me again and I mean it!!!
Local staff were great. Neither the app or the website worked to check the van/equipment back in. Terrible experience with the self-serve return process but local staff were super helpful the next day and took care of the situation.

Your website needs improvement. After numerous attempts and two hours later, I decided to call by phone. I was greeted by someone out of state that made me feel rushed and more anxious. I declined service and called the direct number to the Kilihau location. I was greeted by Raina from your office in Phoenix, AZ. I truly appreciated her customer service and communication skills. Being a first time customer, she courteously answered all of my numerous questions about renting a cargo van and a storage locker. She coordinated everything flawlessly for me starting with her calm, cool and collective tone of voice and attitude. She apologized for my troubles online AND for not having a truck rental available at the same location of my storage locker. AWESOME people skills! At the end of our transaction, she had some difficulty sending a confirmation email due to a last minute change I requested..Yet, she reassured me that by the end of my very busy hectic moving day, I would receive it.That is achieved only by someone who has a vast knowlege of your company's policies and is a reflection of the care she gave me. If I owned a business, I would definitely steal her from you. She is a great and irreplacable asset to your company and only because of her, would I refer business to you with a caveat of the difficulty I experienced online. The next chain of events, introduced me to Keesha at your Kamakee office. She continued to display the same care and customer service I received from Raina. She volunteered to reschedule my arrival time to your Kilihau office which eased my anxiety and stress levels. I found your swipe card machine at the elevator doesn't work efficiently, but was taught a trick on where to apply pressure when usiing it by another female employee later that day. Although I had the same difficulty again the next day using the machine, I pursued for about 10 minutes before gaining entry. Lastly but not least, I met Felicia at your Kilihau office. She noticed my makeshift face mask and offered a better replacement. She as others before her, displayed exemplary customer service and communication skills. I realize their job duties may be repetitive at times, however, not once was that ever displayed. In fact, at the end of my day, I could have returned my rental 8 hours later but found myself too tired and hungry. I would like to extend my deep appreciation and gratitude to these lovely employees for helping me complete such a difficult task. Without their grace, it certainly would have been much more difficult. THANK YOU VERY MUCH LADIES! Your help and call to duty has not gone unnoticed. MUCH ALOHA!
