The mobile app for Truck Share did not work when I attempted to return the truck. The website repeatedly crashed when I was almost done with the process, and not saving any of the progress, so I needed to start the process form scratch multiple times, each ending in frustration. Eventually I had to give up and return the vehicle in person the following day. Fortunately, online customer support and the employee at the location were very accommodating. Transport show the person who to us it,make sure that everything is working well, because the one I lease the wheels did not go down on the transport, the handle broke because it was to hard to go down cutting my finger. The staff was quite helpful albeit the advice re: truck size for a California King mattress was off. Not their fault though for not being an expert on mattress sizes to vans comparisons. However, wish we were told about how to latch and unlatch and lock properly. As we were driving along road, half our things fell out and Good Samaritans stopped to help, hence the dirty truck returned and extra day kept. Would be great to get one waived (a day or cleaning fee).William P.

The location was fine. They didn't have our hand truck we reserved though. I'm not sure why U-Haul can't get equipment to the locations customers select to pick up from. It's an obnoxious business strategy.DAVID C.

Mike made the drop off really easy. He then walked me to the different size box trucks and explained the Uhaul moving services, in great detail. Not trying to sell me anything, in fact he gave me advice to save money and reduce moving stress. This was also Sunday morning at 8am. Mike was great and would highly recommend this exact location. My original drop off location was 532 Walt Whitman Rd in Melville, NY. This location refused to take my one-way vehicle despite that being the drop off location.Eric P.
The reason why I gave a poor rating is because I was sitting there for 2hr and 45 mins to get the truck . In any of the case when I was speaking to customer service they already knew or supposedly to know that which key the boxe it's in. I went through several boxes before I can get to the right Box to get my key to take off in the truck. The scanner DOES NOT WORK that scanning picture needs to be changed to one big scanner where you can be able to scan correctly and inorder for this particular location to get GREAT RATINGS is for everything to be in order far getting into the storage or renting a truck, but I can say Anthony and Jeanette that is the Manager does a great wonderful job on wanting 2 keep customers happy. I rented it in the afternoon for a total of 50 miles and returned on the same day Sunday the location was closed not told that I would be charged 2days if returned after closing very disappointedKristina L.
The access hours are bad. You have to pay to extend which I can not stand. But they monopolize the area because there simply are no other options. The staff is all weird. I can’t tell you how many times Ive gone into that office and no one was in there. They tell you climate controlled & it was FREEZING!!! The 1 day grace period & $15 if I forget to pay always got under my skin. Corporate uhaul is useless. Even with his rating they say “ Please contact the U-Haul Storage Facility and try to resolve any disputes before leaving feedback.” but I guess business before anything else.Myra T. | Overall Experience

A storage "loft" with a rickety ladder that your staff insisted on calling stairs is NOT a safe and practical storage unit. The plywood box I was offered only serves as a safety hazard. I cancelled my storage with Uhaul immediately and went to Westy.Mara M. | Overall Experience
