The dash board was dusty and dirty. The fabric seats were dirty. The van is overdue for an oil change according to the sticker on the Window. The windshield both in and out was streaky and dirty and I had to clean it. There was also an odor in the driver passenger section. Had I not had a tight schedule I would have asked for another. The employee that helped me with my rental of a 4X7 open trailer did not make it clear on how to drop it off after hours, even after I told him I might not get it back before closing. I was subsequently charged for a two days for a six hour rental. They did credit me back for one day but I had to go back to the office the next day to speak with someone in person, since the local phone number took me into a call center which was not helpful.Robert M.

I reserved a truck for a Sunday morning at 8am which is when this location opened. At 8am, there was a line of about 7 customers. There was only one worker and he started to prep trucks at 8am and didn't open the doors until after 8:10am. I waited on line until 8:30am as I was third on line. There was no additional staff to make the process more efficient. In addition, I was charged a $7 gas fee despite filling up the gas tank back to what it was before I started driving it. Unfortunately this was a big let down.Matt D.

It appears that you adjusted my bill downward. I believe you had charged me for a higher amount but I put a notation when I electronically dropped off the truck and it seem to have taking care of that for me. I'm very grateful for that. As a sidenote, when I picked up the truck it had half a tank of gas in it. I returned it with a full tank. I had my son do the gas while I went inside to get a cup of coffee and I guess he wasn't listening when I explain that I wanted him to bring it up to half a tank.JOHNMARTIN S.

The Mobile App to do the check in/ check out of the rental had issues with the Android Device version. Luckily I was able to use my wife's iPhone to check the truck back in when I returned the vehicle after hours.Vince A.

The truck smelled like oil is leaking on the exhaust. Every time you stopped the smell was coming in the cabHoward G.
Signed up for 24/7 truck share. Once I arrived at my pickup time there was no option on uhauls website to pickup my truck remotely. After searching the website for 20min I saw an employee in the lot who was helping another customer how I find the â€œpickup my truckâ€ option & he responded rudely â€œwell obviously if you don't see if then you didn't sign up for itâ€ then walked away from me (it clearly said on my reservation # that I sign up for that option). I then had to proceed in the store where there was 1 person working at the desk. After an hour wait on line in the store I finally got my truck. It took, in total, 2 hours to pickup the truck. I'd never use this location or probably even uhaul again.Christyn G.
Unfortunately, the location was understaffed at check in, but the counter rep was very courteous and expedited myself as well as others super fast. The website experience was horrible; I had tried to book a same day rental and it was asking me to return to a different location and defaulted to Connecticut. I was finally able to get a return to Huntington, a different drop off. Then I got a phone call that my truck wasn't available, but I spoke to the rep and she was like Of course we can get that same day done for you. She updated the reservation and it was as simple as that.George C.

I was a little disappointed that the truck only had a 1/2 of a tank of gas. With hurricane Henri expected to arrive the following day, the lines at the gas stations were long. Instead of getting in the truck and starting my move, I had to wait in line for gas, starting my day behind schedule. This wasn't the best way to start a busy day.Douglas R.

The oil light came on just after we picked up the truck from U-Haul. We had to put in 2 quarts of oil. Routine maintenance should be taken care of between rentals. Otherwise the truck we rented was clean. The employees at this location were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this U-Haul location.Diana R.

the vehicle had 99k miles and had a suspension issue (bouncing around), electrical issue (air conditioning, radio and lights turning on and off and adjusting). Very poor condition vehicle that needs to be taken out of service.James H.

The location was fine, the overall experience was awful. I had to move out of NYC to Long Island, and had requested to pick up and drop off the truck accordingly. Instead, 2 days before they called me to say I needed to pick up the truck in Long Island. This required me to take an hour train out and drive back into NYC, sitting in traffic for another 2.5 hours. As you can imagine this made the awful experience of moving that much worse. I also had to pay for the additional miles to drive back into Manhattan on top of my train ticket. No one at uhaul seemed to care, terrible customer experience, I will not be using the service again (I had planned to use it again in 2 weeks). The man who helped me on site at the location itself was very nice and helpful, however.BENJAMINSHERMAN K.
