It was a brand new truck (~100 miles on the speedometer) so everything actually worked & there wasn't any peanut shells or such all over the cab.

I have used U-haul for personal and business rental equipment, at locations nationwide, over the past 30 years. The manager and entire staff at the Inglewood U-haul location has always been courteous,professional and provided equipment in well maintained condition that solve my personal and business needs. They provide the best equipment,pick up drop off services I have ever encountered from U-haul companies. I would highly recommend this Inglewood location for equipment rental and services. Always excellent services.

Dropping off the trailer was a nightmare before we finally made it to this location. We had to drive to 5 different Uhaul locations until we found one that would accept the drop off, even though we were told any location would accept it. When we asked for help finding a location that would accept our drop off we were hung up on once and given an address that was in no way a uhaul location. Next time, some information about which uhaul locations will accept drop offs would be nice.

Customer service definitely needs to learn how to treat customers. Treated as if I were a criminal. Questioning my route --- 12 miles, really! When turning in the vehicle, it took too long to check out! Tired after a long day of moving! Please respect that.

Allow to be clear. The LaBrea Location in Inglewood CA. was find. I will always use them. Now. Your Westchester location, I will not recommend or return to that location. I attempted to return the trailor there, per the rental agreement, and was told he does NOT accept returns. And I muse leave, because I was in I his way. He told me to check the list. What list??? I explained I only wanted to return the trailer per the agreement with U-Haul. He seemed offended, as he turned and walked off. This mans attitude was unconscionable. Could not believe this man is associated with U-Haul.

I went to the U-haul off Florence and Hindry. Unfortunately I didn't think to make a reservation. When I got there the staff was so friendly. They tried to get me a vehicle from their lot but I needed something bigger. They were completely booked but both staff started searching their database and quickly booked me a truck that was within a 5 mile radius. I was really appreciative that they didn't just say "Sorry". Instead they found what I needed and sent me to another equally friendly and professional U-haul location. Thank you guys!!!!

Wosrt experience I've ever had with a moving company. Made a one way reservation online only to get to your location and I was told there's no one way truck available. I traveled here from Fontana (65 miles away) hence the ONE WAY reservation. I'm then told it was a mistake on Uhauls end becuase they shoudve never the reservation and I can't be accommodated. As I had planned my day around the reservation I thought I made, I was not able to get a one way pick up in Burbank 8 HOURS later. So, I had no option but to take a round trip reservation from Inglewood to Fontana then back to Inglewood. Ruined my weekend plans and inconvienced me beyond belief. Furthermore, the truck I was given was dirty so I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the truck to be cleaned. Completely unacceptable. Uhaul will no longer be receiving my business.

Nice selection of moving items, helpful staff. My only problem was that I wandered the parking lot looking for the front door - maybe a sign saying "this way!" Overall this trip (both locations) was an improvement over uhaul experiences 3-6 years ago.

The drop off process was the worst. I pulled up, walked inside and was helped by a gentleman who name I don't remember but he had dreads. He radioed for someone to come outside and help me, so I went back outside and this young lady named Ashlee was standing outside near a uhaul truck talking to non uhaul employees or customers. She had been there since I pulled up but did not greet me or offer any assistance until 10 to 15 mins after I was on the lot and had already spoken with the gentleman inside. His customer service was good but hers was not and she could use some more training in dealing with customers.

I was charged two different amounts without proper explanation. When I arrived at the facility, I was told that I would only owe around $10 extra. I later received an e-mail stating that I would be charged over $60 extra for being two hours late.

When I returned a rental to this location it took a long time for the lady to check it back in and then she tried to charge me some kind of fee that she couldn't even explain. She sent me to the front office to have it explained and it turned out to be bogus. I did have an $82 mileage charge which I paid before I left. A month later I get charged again for $82 plus $30 late fee and when I called Uhaul they tell me billing is closed on weekends but they see the charge and have no explanation for it. THIS IS THEFT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION.

My truck smoked yesterday but other than that, I love this location and the management service was great so I will continue to go back. Hopefully next time I'll get another pickup truck without the smoke. Just want to add one more thing, I received the discount to drop that truck off at a different location and when I did they have no record of me at the other location and it took longer than expected to close out my account accept the truck and get a refund.

I called ahead of time and asked about parking because I was going to be using a truck and they told me there was plenty of parking and there wasn't.. it was a little inconvenient but I managed to get a spot on the lot. My vehicle was safe and sound when I came back that evening to drop off the truck .

They gave us the truck with less than 1/4 of gas. We asked about it and the only thing they said is that we'd be charged $30 if it was returned with less than that was in the truck. When we dropped it off, the gas gage showed that it was over the amount it had been when we picked it up and the guy explained that if we would've put a little more gas in (over 1/4), we would've gotten a credit. They should have explained this when it was picked up. Also, the truck, on the outside, was in bad shape - I marked every side with at least one issue (dents, scratches, missing plastic, etc.).

So wonderful all the staff To my Mother. After being in apartment it is so great to finally have our own moving truck to order for ourselves and not the tenants. So accommodating to us when we had to reschedule the date due to the rain. My 86 years old mother loves this office and the handsome young manager.

check out was fast and to-the-point. Not the friendliest encounter but that was ok because they got me in and out super quick. It was strictly all business with these guys and gals. Truck was clean and did the job just fine. Facility was also well kept. However, when I went to drop my keys off at the afterhour box, i found it had a pad lock on it, but it was not secured. I personally secured the lock then dropped my keys in. They should double check this in the future.

The trailer I rented was filthy to the extreme. I will be working hard to get the grease, oil and sludge out of my clothes where they came into contact with the trailer tailgate. The facility seemed to be disorganized and they wanted me to wait in a line of tracks being cleaned out before I could leave after I was hooked up with paperwork done.

Remind your employees to drop their attitudes. The girl who helped me at the counter was ok but the guy who took my paperwork and helped me inspect the truck was an asshole plain and simple. I couldn't believe the way he was talking to me! Don't be mad at me because you're ancient and stuck in a job meant for someone fresh out of high school. He better be glad I don't stoop to low levels and that my 6 year old was with me or he would've gotten an earful.. even my kid said something about how rude the guy was.

Sales should not be high pressure that the next reservation is very important that he require customers to bring it back its a (24) hrs rental. If these trucks are reserved may just as well not rented to the customers. This was very bad service thus had to call your call center to adjust the time of drop off. Thanks

This U-Haul location was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The employees were extremely courteous and helpful, and unbelievably efficient at processing my check-in and my check-out. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is moving to or from Inglewood. I'd also like to note that I don't normally participate in these types of surveys or post reviews of businesses I frequent, but the experience I had today was so pleasant, that I was inspired to do so.

It was quick and painless. I had no problem using a cash deposit when picking it up and was refunded the remainder after it was brought back. After being told by UHaul that we should drive to the location on Lincoln, as they had storage units for our stuff. When we got there we were told that they had no storage and we had to go back to Inglewood to the storage place in the rain. Upon arrival there we were told that we had no reservation for a unit. ( even though it was booked with the truck we rented) so they made us wait 35 more mins to get us storage. Also they chose this time to train a new employee on the computer, slowing us down even more. Thanks for wasting our time uhaul!!!! We had nothing better to do!

I reserved a appliance dolly and when I arrived the clerk told me that this location didn't have my dolly, so they let me leave without the dolly. Had to move a refrigerator upstairs by hand, I think this location needs to have a better system on the inventory

So the first lady helping me wasn't nice she was like a robot... I work in customer service as well.. renting cars and we have to at least smile. My estimated charge came out to 40.26 That was if I used 10 miles. The guy changed the miles on my contract bc it was off by one... then I only drove 7 miles. I called the next day for my total the lady said it was 36 dollars I checked my bank statement and I was charged the full 40.26. First and last time I will use uhaul.

I reserved my rental at Hans True Value and they had me way for over an hour, after that they directed me to your location 964 S La Brea and told me I would get $50.00 credit which were not given to me by your location, I'm disappointed by the service i received by making me wait and then send me far away to get my rental. I changed my reservation from the 28 to the 27 and when I got there it wasn't changed!! The 800 # customer service is horrible. The manager didn't care nor did the gentleman initially assisting me. A girl took over and helped me out at the counter and a guy with the last name Hernandez helped me retuning the truck were the only helpful people there!! The truck sunvisor was loose and fell out driving, in which scared me because something starting swinging at me while we were moving along. There was an employee who was being very combative and hostile towards me when I wanted to file a complaint with a supervisor. There was also an issue with the gas in which was resolved with another persons but the overall experience from renting from this location was not the greatest. All I can say is that maybe it somewhat Benefit me to book everything online, but who knows.

There was some confusion about adding lights for the vehicle I was towing back to San Antonio TX! Some of your agents said The law required a set of drag lights are to be placed on the vehicle that was being towed regardless of the lights on the tow dolly! Later I was told that the drag lights were not required. Anyway to be compliance I purchased as set of drag lights and found out their was no available equipment at the U-Haul center that would allow both the tow dolly lights and the drag lights to plugged in together at the same time! Can someone on your staff please verify and let me know if additional tow light are required when towing a vehicle using a tow dolly. Thank you for your time Sincerely Mark

I ordered a26 foot truck, to pick up at 9 am, the truck was not ready. They mixed up the time and said it was supposed to be picked up at 12. I told them I called on the phone to ensure 9 am pickup and they couldn't find it. I had to rent a 20 foot truck instead. I was given no discount on miles or rate despite there mixup. I had to do an extra trip as the 20 foot truck wasn't big enough. The dolly they gave me was also bent and not usable.

I made a reservationfor a travel dolly when I arrieved to the location the rep skipped me and help a person that arrived after me. Then I was sent outside to first get the equipment to there after draw up the paperwork, when I approached the TD that thing was missing a light, I requested that they rent me the AT and the rep gave me attitude about that being reserved, after the rep ended up giving me the AT for the price of the TD becuase I was skipped and had been there for almost an hour while they made up their mind about doing the paperwork first or attaching to my truck. This location is very unorganized and needs to improve on their customer service and needs to rent out equipment that works in a proper and safe manner, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle that I was to transport, I wasnt able to transport the vehicle because the right wheel strap was ripped and dint reach the hook after it going over the tire of the car, not only did I waist my time at that location, but waisted my money in that rental and I had to hire a tow truck to trasnport my car.

Pick up trucks do not have the new plug for trailer lighting like the box trucks have. My church uses this location regularly. It's be nice to have a truck that has that capability. The last truck I was given had a bent bumper which caused the hitch to be closer tot eh ground thus, making the trailer I had to tow closer to the ground, which was not safe. I hope I don't get that truck again but it would be helpful for a client to now up front if the truck is on that kind of condition so that we can mayber choose another or go with a new location.

Dealing with Larry Turner was the MOST horrific customer experience I have ever been involved in. I will be writing another, longer email to UHaul to explain the incident. That being said, Deija Thomas Edwards was a superstar, had excellent customer service skills, and cleaned up the mess after Larry Turner. Larry put Deija, myself, my daughter, and two other customers in danger. Someone could have died because of his inexperience with the trailer. Because of Larry Turner, I will most likely never use Uhaul again.

I rented a pickup truck and the dash board & instrument panel was very dirty. Just as important the odor inside the cab could have been giving some attention. My wife and I sprayed the cab with Lysol but it only helped for a little while. The exterior and bed of the truck was clean. Over all the customer service was great. I was originally scheduled and confirmed in writing and in on the phone twice for the Sepulveda Blvd. location. It was upsetting that I was bumped without any notice and received confirmation of this new appointment a few minutes before. This change cost me more money because I incurred more mileage and paid labor waiting around over an hour while I had to drive to Inglewood and get the truck. Inglewood was great though and I liked the person who helped me. Upon returning the truck, i found it frustrating because there was a line of people waiting and only one person out there filling propane tanks.
