Tire pressure issues... And u could feel as u drove. Gas not correctly logged... When returned black guy tried to question me & make it seem like I was a lie about gas gauge being wrong until I what???? PULLED OUT MY PHONE... Lol Record everything ppl. Even recorded he tried to say (I dont know when that could have been taken) Until I What???? Showed the Info about video... Try that crap on another. NOT ME.

It was my first time renting a uhaul so it was new to me. Everyone was nice checking in and on the phone. As soon as I returned the truck there was a guy that was there cleaning was very rude I was asking him questions like I said it was new to me so I asked him questions and he would give me smart answers and being rude when I was ask a question. Someone needs to address this

It didn't do me much good to check-in online when I chose "go into the store to pick-up". The info I entered had to be re-verified. The blankets I requested were not ready so I also had to wait for those, as well. The no-personal-contact pick-up made the truck condition verification take longer. I was almost late to the pick-up appointment I had rented the truck for. Perhaps you need more warnings on needing more time for this process at booking. I requested a 15' truck because I needed 15' of length and your trailers were only 12'. It appeared to be 12' if you don't count the cab room. I think this truck needs to be renamed.

When ordering a 26' truck I specifically asked for a lift gate. I asked to clarify and was confirmed. When we picked it up, we did not look to see if there was one or not as it was confirmed. Needless to say, it was not and this caused a delay in our progress. I had to go back to the location to ask why in person as I can never reach them in the store by phone. The attendant when asked said that none of the U-Hauls have lift gates. This was very frustrating and cost me more money in the long run. We had to return the truck and rent another one which I would have done a week ago with another company. I ended up paying more by booking last minute. My time and budget were blown due to the inaccurate information provided by the team member here locally that gave me the confirmation that I would have a lift gate. Needless to say this was not my best experience with U-Haul.

Staff was courteous and friendly when spoken to but I'd recommend they be more alert and interactive with customers who are looking around for assistance. More acknowledgments to customers would be helpful and encouraging.

This location is and always is amazing!! The service was great! The guys behind the counter are very informative and always friendly and work as quickly as possible to get everyone out! Today this location was SUPER busy! (Line out the door busy) but they all had smiles and treated everyone with excellent customer service and even took the time to walk boxes out to the car for us!! Definitely will always use this location!!! P.S make sure you make a reservation in advance :-)

The manager at this location adjacent to the old Irving Mall was spectacular. He was hands down the best customer support I've had with Uhaul. He needs to be promoted to a higher position. Great attentiveness to customer service. Will gladly rent from again in the future.

There was trouble picking up my cargo van at the Irving Blvd. location in Irving, Texas because halfway through the self-check in, I was notified that my van was already assigned to someone else. The on-site U-Haul attendant assigned me another van and said he did not understand what was going on. The alternate van had over a dozen dents, scratches and marks, but because the attended assigned me the van I was not able to indicate the problems on my contract. This was alarming but turned out to be the least of my worries. My contract said that I could use my towing vehicle with U-Haul equipment only. When I got to my destination, out of town, to pick up the items it became apparent that my load was larger than the available capacity of the van. At this point, I contacted U-Haul about renting a U-Haul trailer for the overflow items. This is when I was notified that my cargo van was not a towing vehicle, which contradicted my contract paperwork. After one hour on the phone with multiple corporate U-Haul employees I was told that my contract was wrong, that I had the wrong van and that a U-Haul cargo van is not a towing vehicle. I asked for concessions on the one-way drop off fee if I was to get another, larger truck. I also asked not to be charged the higher mileage rate of the larger truck. The U-Haul representative said she could not authorize the changes. She said they must be approved by the original pickup location, but she was concerned about getting them involved because of how messed up the original contract/pick up handled. The U-Haul representative said I would hear from a management person the following day and they would hear my story and then decide on the requested concessions. Bright and early the next morning I received a call from a junior, assistant manager at the original location in Irving, Texas. He was clearly not trained in customer service or business practices. He told me obviously I did not have a towing vehicle and was perturbed when I asked for his name. And then even more perturbed when I then had to ask for his last name that he was withholding. The assistant manager gave me the number of a regional representative who he said might be able to help. The regional representative never called back. I paid the USPS over $600 to ship back my items, which were damaged in route. At this point I don't ever plan on using U-Haul again.

Out of the 6 employees I met, 3 were wearing a mask. A man named Darius seemed miserable and rude and who I assumed was the manager seemed frustrated with him. When I first arrived to pick up my boxes, I was alone in the store for an extended period of time calling out for someone. I felt unsafe with the Covid policies not being followed and was disappointed when I found out this was where I'd be picking up my truck as well. Thankfully I'm gone and will no longer have to deal with this location ever again. I am going to actively tell friends/family in the area to avoid this location.

The staff here is always friendly, but the owners of this location either need to allow the managers to spend more money on extra staff or the managers need to understand they need to schedule more people. This place is always busy and there is only ever one person working the counter. UHaul rolled out a "contactless pick up" but you can't accomplish this because the keys are unable to be safely stored in the vehicles. The poor guy behind the counter at pick up and return looked like he had been dealing with back-to-back customers all day without a break. Management: If you're not going to help out the staff with extra bodies to help, at least be willing to assist them when they get slammed. It should not take 40 minutes to pick up your vehicle and 45 minutes to drop off your vehicle.

Customer service was ,OK, but the truck ran like trash, it was loud, and sounded like it was about to stall, i was sooo afraid driving this truck, the only reason I did t return it was because it was a Sat, and that size was the only available one parked in the yard. The returning of the truck after hours was horrible, yhe entire process of taking pics at night, and downloading to the website is ridiculous....overall not a horrible experience, but the trucks are horrible, and needs alot of maintenance...

I got charged for an extra day even though I turned in my U-Haul truck before my allotted time. The man at the front desk promised to make sure to get my receipt sent to me by email and that it was returned on time. So I don't understand the additional charges

My mom is a senior and wasn't aware that there's an extra charge if you don't go online to do the self-return so she just dropped off the keys and parked the truck. The next day, we went to the store to get a receipt and were told that our bill was way higher than expected. We were also charged a gas fee even though we returned the vehicle with the exact gas it had when we took it. The cashier said we should've took a photo. They should be aware of exactly how much gas the vehicle has and not rip off customers, especially seniors. Not happy with the way my mom was treated.

Waited 20 minutes to be served and check out the van. Once returned I was charged an extra 40 miles. The vehicles odometer was different from the contract, but because of the delay checking out the vehicle I was in a rush to complete my task. It was corrected thankfully, but two inconveniences in one transaction made the experience somewhat unpleasant.

I recommend this location to anyone in and around the DFW International Airport area . They are very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, all with positive attitude and top customer service ! If you have a question they have an answer and they explain everything to you as far what’s required to rent as well as the terms and agreements ! I’ve never used U-Haul before but if I decide to use them again this will be my go to place from this day forward . This location has an ALL-STAR TEAM ....... So if you’re wanting the best ! I suggest you come to this location ! Thank you all ........
