I am very disappointed, and angry about the service I received from Uhaul. The furniture and appliance dolly that I reserved was not available at Kendrick Road. The representative was not very polite to me when I ask why. Also the truck was jerking hard while I was driving it to my house as if it was about to shut down. I stopped and called Uhaul about it. The representative instructed me to try and drive to my house. She scheduled a mechanic to come an check it. My moving helpers appointment time was 12:00 p.m. The mechanic arrive approximately 12:05-12:10p.m. I had to reschedule my moving help to 7:00p.m. The movers worked until about 11:00p.m but was not finished. They came back the next day about 10:00a.m to finish. I reserved climate control units with my reservation. I was told by the assistant manager,, morrow location that it was "first come, first serve basis not reservation". I was not informed by the representative who made the reservation. There was no climate control storage at the morrow location. I had a truck full of furniture. The assistant manager did not offer any apology and did not offer to help find any at another location. My moving helper was the one who called the Riverdale location. They said they have 2 climate control units. When I get there with the truck, the representative said they only had 1 climate control unit. The Riverdale representative was nice enough to call College Park location to see if they had climate control unit. They had 2 units but smaller than the size I needed. My furniture is crammed into these units. I had to pay over $7 20.00 (seven hundred twenty dollars) for moving help because of these issues. This situation caused me great distress , and 2 sleepness nights. I am still trying to recover from this experience. I used Uhaul for moving in the past without any issues. Great overall experience. Hassle free. I left my car in the lot overnight without issue. I also had to extend my 4 hr rental twice, & kept the van overnight. The reps were extremely accommodating and didn't charge me extra fees which was very much appreciated.Tamara P.

I was so pleased with Kacy during our rental process I asked him for his name so I could mention him regarding the top class and quality experience. I had my 9 year old with me and Kacy told us about the filming of Smoky and the Bandit at the back of the property. It's the scene where they jumped the bridge. We went and took a bunch of pictures. I am a contractor and utilize the pickup truck and cargo vans frequently. I already have deadlines that I have to meet. So the additional worry of getting my material to the job site and getting the rental back in an hour from the Home Depot is unnecessary because I can go to Uhaul with the convenience of picking up and/or returning the truck anytime online with the 24/7 do it yourself, even after hours.Dina R.

I am thoroughly pleased with the exceptional customer service by Jeremiah. I went to several locations that did not have the availability of equipment and tried the Flint River location as my last hope. I guess it's true when the say the third time is the charm! Jeremiah was pleasant and went over and above to ensure that my needs were met. The Flint River location is now my go-to spot for all of my moving needs. Jeremiah has restored my hope in humanity and he truly understands his customers. If you come to this store, ask for Jeremiah! This is truly a business that invests in its staff and it's customers. My previous experience back in August 2021 was horrible. I reserved a truck and they did not have it available at my reservation time. They also did not assist in helping to get another one. I dropped off the trailer Sunday May 1st well before my May 4th dealldline. I received a call May 6th. They want to charge me 40 dollars. The trailer was return Su day. An employee unhooked the trailer and pushed it in the parking shot. The trailer was on there lot but did not recognize or inputting it until Friday. I do not owe this fee and want a refund. Truck had driveability issues. When you placed it in reverse, it took several seconds for the transmission to engage and when it did, the truck would "buck" very very hard. Seemed somewhat unsafe and could potentially damage cargo.Reginald B.

They lied to me and charged me almost double the price that I signed up for ! I signed up for 20 foot truck to pick up in Hampton,Georgia where I live and the day before my pickup date I got an email & text saying that my new pick up location was in Jonesboro,Georgia which is approximately 15 more miles down the road! I signed and my notice was $462 and when I went too I've it yo the guy in Jonesboro said my new price was close to $900 ! I then showed him my emailKo from UHAUL stating that my charge for a one way rental to Navarre Florida with 386 mikes was $462 and he told me that I would get a refund once I turned the truck in at the Navarre Florida location ! I turned the truck in and the gentleman in Navarre says that we don't get refunds but call the 1-800 number to Corporate and let them know how I got scammed ann MB d they would rectify the situation so that is what I am doing right just ! The lady on the phone at UHAUL said that I would be getting my money back to my card that I was overcharged !Daniel C.

It was ok until I didn’t need storage anymore. The lady at the front desk was lazy. Instead of assisting me with closing my account and storage unit she just sat there and then neglected her duties. I turned in my access card and lock. She assured me my account was closed but now I’m receiving phone calls, letters, and emails saying that I owe money and late fees. It’s really frustrating and embarrassing for my reference to receive a letter saying I’m not paying my bills. Also it takes more than 20 minutes each time I call in to get a representative on the phone. During the time I used the storage, my things were invaded by cockroaches, I had multiple pairs of shoes, clothes, and purses molded. I also had a printer stand, and some other shelving molded as well and I took pictures of it, but was told that in order to file a claim that I would have to keep it open (and keep paying $95 a month) and that since I had already took pictures and threw my damaged goods away, that I would not be able to file claim - although I paid for insurance from July through February.Angenita W. | Overall Experience

She proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do and i had to figure out something. When I first arrived at U-Haul I thought my storage unit would be ready and I could just start moving my belongings inside. Not only was it not ready but it was not cleaned out either. The manager on duty decided to offer a smaller unit do we could start moving and got upset when we declined. Even though we ordered the largest one. (We ordered the largest unit for a reason our belongings would not fit in a smaller one, if she would have offered to then that would have worked). She promised we could come tomorrow and everything will be cleaned out and bombed. We came back the next day our storage unit was still not ready nor was it clean. To put the cherry on top of the whole situation our U-Haul truck was also not ready even though we had already reserved it. The U-Haul manager on duty said that the U-Haul truck was at another unit and only offered us gas to go get it. I would not recommend this to family nor friends.
