Though I wanted estimates for shipping and renting a truck, I was automatically given a reservation for both. I had to ask that reservations be cancelled and had to follow up on it. I was charged insurance when I was only asking for a shipping estimate on UBoxes. I never signed a contract either. I asked for a refund on the charge. I was not given a receipt showing that I had returned all of the blankets. I asked for a receipt and was told No. I took pictures of both emptied UBoxes and the blankets that I returned. Though Corrine was nice, Xena and Kelly were not. Xena was condescending to me and saying that I was confused and Kelly was snotty. Please have Xena and Kelly receive more training on customer service. Because of the poor customer service, I chose another moving company to ship my items out of state. Your loss, their gain.Ann H.
Staff was friendly, she did make a mistake and put my middle name in as my last name and spelt it incorrectly but I caught it when she gave me a copy of my paperwork and she corrected it. I wasn't made aware that it was a U-Box and not an actual U-Haul storage so that was disappointing to find out after paying but I will still be using it (but I'm sure other customers would appreciate clarification ahead of time). The facility was clean but a second point of access would be convenient due to the fact that I have a 1,000 pound piece of equipment to move in and it will be a pain to haul all the way across the building since the second set of doors aren't open. Overall, it was a good experience, I just wish I was aware of the fact that it wasn't a normal U-Haul storage room, the typos weren't a big deal, just added a delay to the process, mistakes happen, I didn't mind, I'm just glad I caught that. I hope you guys open the second set of doors or will at least be accommodating and let me use them on Saturday when I move this equipment in.Vanessa U. | First Impressions

The trailer drivers side brake light did not work properly, the young lady who checked us out was nice and helpful, the trailer ratchet straps where dirty and a bit rusty and hard to ratchet. Upon returning the trailer the lady who help unload and inspect was rude and disrespectful to me. I would not recommend using this location because of that . She needs to learn how to be respectful to the customers. It had not been cleaned from the last customer who rented.CHRISTOPHER W.

The online/mobile pickup was extremely hard and wouldn't allow me to go through with my pick up and told me to go inside and speak to someone but the lady couldn't do anything so we had to cancel that pickup all together and start over. Online the lady called my picture sketchy which is unappreciated considering the only thing different from my Drivers License picture was the fact my hair was up in a pony tail and the wind was blowing. Maybe not calling a customer sketchy and then telling them to go inside to finish the pick up but then have no way for the lady inside to continue the pickup. However once we got the first reservation canceled and set up a new one the process was easy and the truck was nice and clean.Cheyenne A.

I would say being able to pick up the truck a day early for free so that they can do snow removal was nice, BUT the car tow-dolly lights did not work, the cigarette burner thing (where you plug in to charge your phone) did not work, the inside was dirty and when I mentioned it to the customer service agent she said oh just take a picture of it and mention it to them when you drop it off. The tires on the truck were not snow tires so we slid the entire way from kenai to anchorage. When we got to anchorage, when informing the guy of the issues, his response was, â€œthey never should have gave you a dolly thats lights do not work. This isn't even our truckâ€ I informed him that I was scheduled to drop it off at 3pm and that I rented it one way from kenai. He said okay and said I was good to go and let me know I would receive an email with my receipt in 10-15 minutes. Overall, the kenai location seemed careless. I've been told I was going to be charged for returning a truck with snow from my shoes in it. So to pick up a truck that was gross(I have pictures) seemed odd to me. The guys response in anchorage was confirmation of my thoughts when I noticed the tow dolly lights did not work. The company should spend more time in training their agents properly so that they are aware that something like that should not be put out on the road.Leah G.

Instead of "shrink wrapping" bulky items in yards of plastic, wrap them in furniture pads and hold in place with packing tape. I was just surprised that upon returning the truck I was told I needed to clean the inside of the truck and leave it as if it was brand new. (The shoe marks) I've rented from uhaul in multiple states and never have I heard of that before. So I was a little taken back by that. I ended up going to Walmart and buying wipes to wipe off the shoe marks on the pedals and the ground & white stuff that was on the passenger seat so that I was not charged 20.00 for it. The crazy thing is, I was the only one in the car and drove it so I can't even explain the white marks on it. I understand the outside without scratches etc but to tell me I have to clean the pedals was a bit crazy. I'll go through a rental car next time!Leah G.
