I'm on the phone as I'm writing this with y'all customer service number to dispute the fact that UHaul is charging me $36 for fuel fee and gas ,that was never there when I pick up this truck,the lady clearly explained that it was showing 1/4 of a tank but only had 1/8 ,so make sure I take a picture ,witch i did during the original inspection so y'all sure have that on file ,but when I got my final receipt y'all charging me $36 , that's why I'm disputing this here and again i been on hold for all most 20 minutes now !!JOSE H.

Deanna and her staff were very helpful. The experience that was not good came from the Contractors that demolished all of our belongings after Hurricane Ida to the point that even if anything was salvageable - it got destroyed by the bulldozers when discarded into piles of rubble in the rain and then extreme heat. When i did the renters insurance and was advised 1000, 5000 or 10,000i though that was the deductible and choose the 1000. I lost entire living room kitchens and two bedrooms of furniture which is way more than 1000. I pray that the next time someone rents, that the insurance is explained better than it was to me. The insurance company will only cover the $1000. Please send the name of the Contractor Team that demolished all the belongings so I can submit request for compensation from them. Before Hurricane Ida came about, Ms. Deanna and staff maintained the uhaul facility to perfect conditions. Never had an issue with this uhaul site until Corporation came from Phoenix after Hurricane Ida to throw my most sentimental/prized possessions in streets as though it was yesterday’s trash. No one..absolutely no one..called and received my consent to dispose my property to streets, exposing it to the aftermath and elements of Hurricane Ida. I reserved a utility dolly. A dolly was not available. The person at the facility said they would take the charge for the dolly off. I reminded them a when I returned the truck. They said they were taking the charge off. When I received the receipt, I was still charged for the dolly.lance B.

But the staff called the other customer as to when the truck would be returned to our pickup point and texted me when ready. I ordered a one way rental 15' truck 10 days prior on the internet, and it sent me to this location for pick up.I was moving my daughter from New Orleans to Jackson, MS. I arrived and the truck was not going to be available until the next day after 3 pm. I was upset and the ladies worked with me to get a truck but I had to return it back to the Kenner location by 1 pm the next day. The cost with the additional mileage was going to cost me double than the one way that I ordered.I took the truck and reached out to u haul that I was unhappy about this situation. I moved my daughter to her 3rd floor apartment and got the truck back the next day around 3 pm. The manager did credit me back to my original one way price and I am grateful that they worked with me. The ladies there were hard working and courteous and I could tell that they cared about their customers. I wished that the on line system should notify their customer or the branch get notifications when their are inventory issues, so they can let their customers notify in advance.RUSSELL W.

The staff were great but the facility was understaffed. I waited 30min on the phone ðŸ“ž to be connected with customer service and 60min. and roadside asst. never answered. Each U-haul store is independent and sets their own rental rules. So I had to call numerous u-haul stores before I found a 10 ft. Truck ðŸ›» My impression is of a chaotic system and God help the person please who breaks down in one of your trucks because roadside asst is on vacation.ROBERT C.

When I return the truck. The owner was standing there with the attendance clerk. I mentioned that the attendance clerk had told me the truck had come from California and I told him obviously they didn't inspected well enough. I moved during tropical storm Claudette the corner of the truck leaked. Also when I got in the truck to turn it on the music was blaring. Also I went to turn a knob when I touched the knob it fell off in my hand. The owner said well did you get the insurance? And I said yes I did. She says good will file a claim. And then she asked me where it was leaking in the truck and I said well you should do an inspection and find out for yourselves she got angry with me and told me fine you can't check out then. I said can you please check me out she said where is the leak? Finally so I could check out I told him where the leak was. The attendance clerk was very nice and very kind. The owner was not a very nice person. And all I'm gonna say is it's insurance fraud if they file a claim because I did not damage that truck in any way shape or form. They should have inspected that truck and made the repairs before letting someone lease it. I will not use this location again. I would not support this owner in any way. In fact I may not ever use U-Haul again. I don't appreciate being spoken to the way that the owner spoke to me. Thank you for allowing me the time and for him to express my dissatisfaction.Beth B.

I reserved a unit online, and recieved a confirmation email that guaranteed my unit and price. Lucky i called on my way in to find out my unit was no longer available, and that i needed to get a larger one. I had to pay more for the unit, when i should have only had to pay for the amount agreed to in the contract. I have heard others who had similar issues with this location giving away reserved units. Honestly, the front office reeked of weed. When I dropped off and also when I picked up. The workers seemed friendly but also seemed high (maybe). The lady who helped me was really nice. The guy who was there when I dropped off was helpful and friendly. But in an area where customer service is described as rude. Luego le dije que quería una prueba de los días que la Targeta y no pasaba . Luego comenzó a gritarme y ofenderme . No traspases mi counter no traspases mi counter .
