The front windows was so dirty and it was from the inside of the van. I could barely see out of the window. I tried using the windshield wipers but again the stains on the front windshield came from the inside.

I scheduled my pick up at the Havertown Store which was only 1 mile away from where I was picking up the items to be moved. I arrived and was told I had to go across town to 57th and Woodland. The representative was rude. I explained that I lived blocks away from the 48th Street location and would have ordered there if I knew the Havertown Office did not have a truck for me. The distant threw my move off and as it required a 40 minute ride each way to pick up the truck. Arrived at Woodland Ave, representative was very pleasant. However, the truck was parked in the rear of the building and I had to walk back there with past several rat trap boxes. The truck was parked so close to the wall that I couldn't open the driver's side door. In addition, there was a pile of trash including empty chip bags and food wrappers and I was certain something would craw out of the pile. The truck needed to be retired. The engine rattled and it rides worse then what I image a semi truck tossing us around along the way. It was a horrible experience. Because of the additional time to pick up the truck we missed the storage facility was closed and when to pay the movers to work on Sunday to complete our job. I've rented Uhaul numerous times and have never had such a terrible experience. Allison H

The trap door was broken in the back of the truck when I called it in the rep put it in the system when I returned the truck I asked about it because me and my movers almost fell many times over the broken door and I was told well you didn't report it to me so he cant do anything about and where is my final recipe

From start time finish the manager and staff were helpful, professional and welcoming. I locked my phone and wallet in my unit after hours. The manager came quickly, was pleasant and allowed me to retrieve it. She even apologized for the bad experience I had at another location!!! I would definitely recommend this facility!

Even when some difficult people came in for service. They handled me and everyone else very well. I did tell them that while I was there. Thanking them for good service. They need to have someone in the building at all times. I have walked in to that building and waited 10 to 20 minutes before some even got to me. Also they need someone who can answer the phone and not keep you on the phone for over 10 minutes. The customer service at both locations sucks!!!!!

Too many scary people/loiters outside the building screaming at me and my roommates. Probably should make sure people are trying to sell things in your parking lot. Probably should pick a better location. I won't be returning to this one. As for the uhaul itself the windshield was super dirty could barely see out of it.

I reserved a truck. It wasnt there. I went to another location to where I was directed by someone from uhaul to pickup a truck. It wasnt there either. This caused me to be super late and to pay uber feed of 75$ for transporting me around town to difffernt uhaul locations. Not to mention the super unfriendly and unprofessional staff on site

Customer service stinks cashier stayed on her phone the whole time she was assisting me guy who claim to be the manager hung up on me because he didn't like my attitude and I had an attitude because they clean they couldn't find the truck when I dropped it off that's what I didn't give me my refund I had the truck for less than 45 minutes to move some mattresses I dropped it off the same day I had an active reservation for 26 hours before they close my reservation out they tried to charge me for more time that I didn't have the truck because they clean we couldn't fI don't it This location sucks it needs to be shut down or re-managed

The woodland Ave. experience was excallant. But the experience we had with the Darby location was very bad. With the Darby, Pa experience we made reservations,paid online for the vane. When we went to pick it up. the place was close. We waited a half hour and no one showed up. So we went home we found the location on Woodland Ave.

Greetings universe I'm not good in Remembering people's names but this location help me out and the time of need and that is a very good thing for me I know we all go through things at times when we need someone and no one is there but this particular location these two young ladies at the time of me renting that U-Haul gave me clarity security and worry less I want to thank them I feel bad that I don't know the name but I can identify them when seen again the reason why I say all these good things is because at the time I had to go to 4 different locations and due to the fact that I had to go five miles out my way that means that I had to pay 10 miles more than what I normally would had paid so on that note it was worth the chance to meet these two ladies and again I'm not a shame but I do feel bad that I cannot remember these young ladies names and the area was nice and clean and when I say clean it smelled clean it look clean they took their time and they helped me out computers can be failures at times and I had re-registered on my computer and when it popped up the computer had charged me more than what the average price again these ladies were aware of these things and they took full action and they helped me out so U-Haul it was September 3rd 2020 approximately 6:30 p.m. if you can find out who was on that time of work you guys got to give him a pay extra pay or bonuses holiday because at this time of life a lot of people are not coming together for a lot of people are not being aware of helping each other I don't know these young ladies or these young ladies of Somebody's Daughter somebody's cousin somebody's Aunt somebody's mom and they help me out because I'm Somebody's Daughter somebody's Aunt somebody's mom and a grandma yes I said Grandma thank U U-Haul for helping me at the time of need

Sometimes the employees hesitate to take the next customer. Customers are trying to get in nd out. There will be 2 customers in line...two associates with nobody in front of them, yet the customers are left waiting. Its as if one associate is waiting for the other associate to call on the next customer first.

The woman behind the counter was ignorant and rude. She gave our truck to someone else then proceeded to get visibly angry when she asked that customer to return it, stating the manager said they had to. When the customer refused, now my appointment time changed from 10 am to 1 pm then in a matter of minutes to 5 pm. Very unprofessional! Our truck, when we finally got it had screws in the tires so we were unable to move everything in one trip causing us to have to rent again.

The business needs much better people skills, management and common sense. The rear sliding door is always locked day and night. I paid to have 24 hour access and the money had to be refunded because the Woodland location doesn't support it. Just needs less lazy and more proactive.

My entire experience dealing with U-Haul storage has been frustrating and difficult. When I arrived to the U-Haul moving and storage of kingsessing after making an online reservation for a storage unit, I was helped by Jasmine who proceeded to tell me I had no reservation and nothing under my name, despite offering multiple times to tell her my reservation number. She then had me start from the beginning on a new reservation. Once this was complete, she asked me if I needed a lock. I explained I had purchased one already and then she explained that I should not use that kind of lock because it can be cut. I then asked to purchase the correct kind of lock. She then told me they did not have any but she would check the shipment that she was unboxing. I was asked by a different store attendant if I was given a card to access the storage facility and said that I was no. He said that I should have been given a card swipe. He returned to show me to my storage unit but did not return with any card. I proceeded to move in my belongings and once finished went back to the office. It was 6:30pm and the doors had been shut off, despite the office closing at 7pm. I then asked if she found any locks, she said no. I asked her what she recommended I do because she had told me earlier not to use the lock I had purchased. She stated that my options were that lock or nothing. I then went to return the U-Haul truck we rented while my wife went to speak with Jasmine. My wife asked her to contact her manager and she did. The manager of the Kingsessing store then said that she would be picking up the correct locks in the morning, that she would see to it that a proper lock was placed on our storage unit in the morning, and that she would hold the keys in her office until we would be able to return to Philadelphia (seeing as we were returning to NY that night and would be unable to return for several days). The next day (today ), I called around 11am check in on the status of my lock. I was told I would be called back in a half hour with an update. At approximately 4:30pm after still having heard nothing from anyone at the Kingsessing Store, I called again and was told that a lock had not been placed on our unit but one would be soon and that we would receive an email confirming this. I am overwhelmingly dissatisfied with the dismissive, unhelpful, and inconsistent way I have been treated. I also am incredibly upset that I was told I’d be called back multiple times after being out on hold for long periods of time and never called back. I am reconsidering ever using U-Haul again.

It took the associates 1 hour and 40 minutes to process a storage unit for me. Then the storage was closed so I could not store my items and now I will be canceling the unit.
