Battery died in the truck after my first stop. I'd only driven about 10 miles at that point. Luckily I was able to get a jump, but it set me off a tight schedule by a wide margin.

The man who helped me had no name tag, but this review is about his customer service. He had no affect, which means that he was not engaging. He did his job like someone had a gun to the back of his head. Monotone and disinterested. The truck smelled of old cigarettes and the latch for the driver sun visor was broken. For the next customer, show that you're happy to see them and engage them on a level above that of a cold dead fish. Walk out and inspect the truck with them to check for existing damage.

I rented it to move a motorcycle from however the cheap tiedown point bent and released the motorcycle causing the bike to fall over and get damaged i was very upset if it was not for how helpful the staff was i would never use u haul agailn

the truck was very clean even smelled fresh and clean. the steering wheel and the seats were non sticky which doesn't seem like a big deal but to me it shows they take pride in the service that they give out.

You need to get the website your customer support and local offices all on the same page. When you ask 3 different people the same question and get 3 different answers that is not a good look. Also, when a customer drops off a rental, and gets a call 2 days later asking when they're dropping it off, that shows your lack of communication. The uhaul representatives I spoke to were all friendly and courteous, but un aware of what had been discussed only days prior. Maybe you all should make notes on customer contracts.

The after hoursdrop off procedure instructions are completely inadequate - they only work if the customer booked his trailer thru his own account. If the center filled out the contract, and a customer is delivering trailer after hours, then a customer must call in, wait an hour for a representative to guide him thru the process of NOT SIGNING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT but instead FILLING IN THE CONTRACT NUMBER. A customer cannot figure this out on their own. Please correct your instructions on the sighs, on the website, and in your recorded message during the 1 hour hold time (these instructions would be much more useful rather than the awful music and non-stop repetition of request to fill out this online review). The trailer I rent was the worst I have ever received. It bounce so much I couldn't drive over 25 mph (45 mph rating) if it wasn't full. Seemed like maybe the coupler was slightly bent. Luckily I didn't have too many trips to make. I couldn't exchange it because it was the last one at this location.

Young woman gave me a hard time regarding the gas. I filled up according to the diagram I was given and she argued with me that I was a drop under. She asked her colleague and he said it was fine. It spited the experience for me

The location was great but I had originally made the reservation for another location near my house (20 miles from this one...) The communication from uhaul was really poor prior to pickup and the change made for difficult days and a lot of extra driving :(

Everything was great but we needed to leave our car and there was no place to park. We left it at the Salvation Army parking lot after we were fortunate enough to find some things we needed to buy there, a bed and dresser so it worked out ok!

I am in the process of a claim for $25 plus $2 tax that was placed on my bill for 03-cleaning. I personally swept out the truck after moving furniture and it was cleaner than when we received it. There is no way it had to be cleaned by anyone at U-haul.

The scheduling was a nightmare. You changed my pickup location to one that wasn’t even open and functioning. Luckily I checked in time otherwise would have completely ruined my move. While driving rental you informed me of new drop off point, very far from my booked drop off. After waiting over 30 minutes to speak to anyone, in the middle of my move, I was finally able to speak to a very rude and unhelpful operator who finally put me through to scheduler, who fixed the situation. Moving is very stressful and this whole process made it twice as stressful as it needed to be.

The trailer is advertised as a 5'X8' - Interior is actually 9' long :-) but only 4'4" wide :-(

This was likely the same 10' truck I rented a few weeks earlier. The tire pressure light was coming on then, I informed uhaul. It is still coming on not allowing you to see milage. there is a head light out and the door to the storage of truck was next to impossible to open and close.

Rented a van. There were no grab bars on the doors or frame. Which meant that I fell out of the van floor and flat on my tailbone onto the pavement and haven't been able to move for a week and counting. Note: nothing against the dealer but I will not rent from U-Haul again.

Make sure to know if the location you're going to when you call has the correct truck the first time so you're not calling back the customer as they're on the way to pick up the the size they asked for and you tell them they don't have it they only have the smaller sizes after you made the reservations for a large one.

I checked in online, and was given the key, but not the additional items I had ordered, and apperently the paperwork at the desk was not done either as it should have been when handing me the key. I had to go back and get everything done right - extremely inconvenient, long lines, not enough help.

Papers said tank was 40 gal. And it was 1/2 full on pickup. I almost empty it below 1/4 and adds 24 gal and now it's full... how can a 40 gallon tank be full if it's below 1/4 and you add 24 gallons? Very odd...

I was not directed to my uhaul and was just told "out the door and to the right" where +10 trucks was parked, so I had to go off the images on the website find the truck. A bit more help would have made my experience alot better. But everything else was great.

The truck was broken the visor fell out from the ceiling when I got in the knob on the window for the driver side popped off there was no dolly inside the bed even though I ordered one and I had to pick one up before I could move. The cashier in the morning before I rented the truck was very rude didn’t answer my questions, but the customer service rep that helped me get another dolly was very helpful.

Don’t trust their marking of gas level. On return I was told I’d used 4.1 gallons. Had only gone 12 miles. They told me I should have questioned their marking on the outgoing level. Ok, I trusted them and it was a mistake.

Was overcharged for fuel. I drove the truck a total of 8 miles and replaced a gallon of gas. Upon return was charged for an additional 2 gallons of gas. A small pick -up truck that gets less than 3 miles to the gallon? Seriously? Called customer service and they refunded the additional fuel charge. Other than that, service was fine. Just make sure you do your math and check the bill carefully.

I asked one of the employees to have the manager call me in regards to my concerns that the door to get access to my unit was always jamming. Never received a call the gate was NEVER open on time
