There was a message on the screen that said oil needs to be changed. No one went over the vehicle with me before I left. No one told me that I would have to pay an additional $20 if I got there after 5:00 p.m.. I wasn't told that I had to put gas in it. I assumed that because I was paying for the mileage that was not something I would have to take care of. It says $19.95 plus mileage. I paid $86. That's absurd.... they charged me a gas fee, a late fee it's terrible absolutely highway robbery. I feel victimized And I will never ever use Uhaul again never!!!!!DEBRALEE W.

I included a utility cart in my reservation and it was not in the van when I picked up the rental. I called the Kingston location and asked for the charge to be taken off of the total fee. I was assured by the store employee that the charge would be removed from my total due. It was not removed and I had to pay for equipment that I did not even have.Alison B.

I have rented from this location many times and many times the gas is rigged. The needle is close to the E but as soon as you drive a few feet down the road IT DROPS BELOW THE E. In order for the vehicle to be truly full the needle is past the E.We get hit hard if we don't bring it back full but they pull this shit on us. We don't want to then go back and make them fill it at that point.I am losing money on gas each time they do this.Steven B.

I hadn't rented a U-Haul for 5 years. I really liked the mobile phone process for checking-out. I almost missed the text notification with the link. It would have been nice to have been proactively told about it when checking out with the employee. Also, when I returned the van, I didn't realize there was a mobile check-in process until after I had left the U-Haul location. Things worked out fine though.SIAVASH D.
We were provided two sets of VERY, very dirty moving blankets. They actually had wood chips, so not sure how that's possible, but clearly they wrap them up in the bag as if they've been washed, and then whoever is counting on using them hopefully doesn't have anything fabric or that should not get completely soiled. When I drove the pickup truck home, I noticed someone (perhaps a previous customer) left an approximately 25-pound Craftsman tool box in the opened of the truck. When I returned the toolbox at the end of the day, the agent did not note the return or provide a receipt for having received this item. Was not told till end of registration that I could not store my car. The paper work was reversed. But following Tuesday I received a late notice for my rental unit. Since the call to the facility was differed to a call center and I waited 40 minutes on two different occasions to no avail.
