went in person to make a reservation. got an email confirmation with contract details that do not match what was discussed. got an email saying that my reservation was cancelled even though i did not cancel it, turns out they somehow booked me twice. was told id get a call 24 hrs ahead as confirmation but never did. called in to confirm my reservation and found out the pickup time did not reflect what was discussed. showed up for truck pickup and credit card terminal malfunctions. requested km package was not on the contract. there was garbage in the truck, including a pack of cigarettes, so clearly no one has inspected it. paid 338$ at time of pickup but on return im getting another bill for 370$. you tell me. how was my perceived experience of this uhaul location?

Clean your facility. Also, clean your vehicles. And last but not least, maybe find a facility that people can park at and have an option or leafing their vehicles while they pay hard earned money to rent your poorly kept vehicles that are far too often barely safe enough to be road worthy.

Offer another option besides. We don't have anything available when there was more then enough vehicles to rent on the property. The guys who were cleaning the vehicles when they came back gave me better news then the desk person. He wasn't very nice like his coworkers were.

The storage facilities were overbooked and full, so we couldn't use our free month of storage there. As well we dropped our vehicle off only for them to tell us we should have been there 4 hours ago? We had no idea we had a time limit, nobody informed us at any Uhaul and not did this location call to see where we were.

The instructions for fuel was not clear and when I spoke to the employee about how they could instruct people about the fuel instruction he was rude. I simply said he could explain to customers by saying this part on your paperwork tells you how many litres to put into the uhaul. Instead of this is where your fuel needs to be at.

The customer service provided by UHaul was absolutely horrific. They overcharged us multiple ways, and they changed pick up and drop off locations. I will never use Uhaul again, and I will direct all of my friends and family to never use again.

Have your agent, as they're booking the reservation for the truck, remind, or point out to, the person renting the truck, that while a dolly and blankets are available in the back of the truck for a nominal fee, any rope for tying down the cargo must be supplied by the person renting the truck.

Everything went down perfectly. I needed a van to transport a large appliance from nearby CostCo to my home. Was able to drop in, get a van, move the stuff, and return the van within a couple of hours. This is the second time I've done this. Super convenient. No complaints. Thanks!

Mobile check-in a little confusing and seems to be much slower than just checking in at counter. Pretty easy to drop off, but key drop could be better labeled (it was a different style than what was shown in the example photo).

1)Honour the confirmed reservation and have the required equipment at the site at the appointed time - nothing better than arriving at the site and being told - NO TRUCK AVAILABLE 2) Provide equipment that does not LEAK 3) Consider training U-Haul people with a few people skills - all of the interaction at this site was reprehensible

Truck had a cracked convex mirror on the passenger side that the agents knew about. When I pointed it out to the agent he said "oh yeah we know about that" he then offered to place an "X" sticker on the mirror. This ended up pushing the piece of the mirror into the housing. When I returned it the I commented to the agent about the mirror and he said it would be fixed right away. Perhaps taking the truck out of service until the repair can be made would be the safest course of action.

It would be nice to have one of your employees do a quick check over of the vehicle with the customer so both parties can be on the same page in regards to the condition of vehicle/equipment being rented. Check tires, check for scrapes/damage, ensure nothing has been tampered with (eg. Emergency kit in the cabin of the truck, make sure the dolly is still zipped, etc.). It wasn't a problem i had this time but I saw some the room for error where folks might think they've been overcharged for items they do not use.

Parking lot is crowded and difficult to manouver. We paid upon receipt of vehicle and were informed upon returning the vehicle that we didn't have to do anything else. 3 days later we received an email stating we were in arrears for money owing . $200 this 8hr 100km round trip cost. Ridiculous!

Ensure that equipment meets minimum safety standards. We left the site and started driving to Toronto and experienced a flat within the hour. When checked at u-haul depot located at Coburg which was also a Goodyear tire centre they replaced the tire and technician Logan found other left tire had low pressure of 16PSI. Two right tires were found to have dangerous PSI of 65 & 67 respectively. Our safety was compromised, we felt we were put in serious risk due to the extreme over / under inflation which should have been checked by attending staff at pick up.

Just a little 'FYI', just in case there is another "rarely rent pick ups" out there - as we found out - you release the tailgate by hitting the "unlock" button on the key fob. The person that we spoke with to try to find this out did not know this little tidbit. Our local office person did!! YAY! This came after sitting on hold for 1/2 an hour with our initial call. Too long for such an easy answer. Other than that, this was a great rental experience. Thank you.

My pickup location was carago kingston ontario the online pickup would not work called 1-800 number spoke to agent still couldnt fix problem switched to someone droped call restart process called again all info given again switched me to local gave info again finially had to go pickup truck at princess street locationworked out ok got truck the one thing i might suggest when 1-800 customer service couldnt help me with check in was right in front of lock box on wall at carago why couldnt she just give me lock box code to pick up truck insted of driving to other store Thanks Don Foulger 613-354-3667

There has been a change at this location within the last year and the new staff are extremely accommodating, respectful to customers and professional. even though this is significantly farther than several other locations I will continue to do my business at this store.

There was only one attendant on a Sunday. There were 4 people ahead of us in line so, even though we had made our reservation online, we had to wait over 30 minutes in line while other people were helped. This is not the attendant's fault - he did a great job helping everyone courteously and calmly - this is Uhaul's fault for understaffing their locations (especially for a weekend). Also, after I had the reservation, I had a couple of questions. I tried to phone the customer service line and after waiting 7 minutes, I was just disconnected. Then I tried the live chat and was attended to after 5 minutes. I've never had to wait that long for a live chat question. Very, very disappointed in Uhaul customer service - the people who helped me were great, but my impression is that the company's approach from the top down does not support their frontline workers to allow for excellent customer service.

There was a minor hang up with the GPS location not picking up for the pick up truck option. Sitting at the correct location and no go. Short of that the experience was great overall. Step up from the last few times I've rented

When I was at the location everything was amazing. Wonderful staff and very clean place. I had trouble contacting the office. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered. Thanks

the gentleman working at that location was rude and i dont remember his name but this is the second time that uhaul has messed around with me and i am considering using another company when i have to move again the first time was when i arranged for a truck in Keswick ontario and had to go to barrie on the day i was to pick up the truck and i was not happy that added an extra time and mileage to my move but i decided to try again with uhaul and got a rude person when i tried to order the truck .Just curious is your company all about the money and respect for the customers .

Hi, I have a file open from my rental on Sat Sept 26. #2875876. I have not heard from anyone with follow up. When I rented the van the web site said $19.95 and I was charged 89$. I look forward to hearing from the Manager as promised. Thank you!

Accuracy on billing and communication. I was given a truck with less than half the gas, and my paperwork said it was full. And it was communicated to me that it was full so I did not doubt. I took a photo of the odometer just incase before leaving the Uhaul lot for my beginning mileage. And in the end forgot to filler up... but when the clerk suggested I fill up the tank in order to save money he said "Filler up and return it and you'll save about $50." It was only at the gas station that I noticed how much was needed to fill the tank and I went back and check my photo of the odometer that happened to have the gas gauge in the shot. Showing about 40% full ... so I raised this point with the clerk and all he kept repeating was "if I'd showed him that then he could have done something." But the mistake was made at the very beginning when the paperwork reflected the wrong fuel amount... so the mistake was with Uhaul not with me. So why would it not be good costumer service to reimburse the amount spent when it need not have been spent. I traveled maybe 12 km on a 40% tank... and filled it up for $60 I shouldn't have...

Confusing as to why the u-haul system requires 3 phone contacts and 2 addresses to rent a storage room. Alternatively phone contacts I understand, but a 2nd address does not make sense. Staff was very helpful in the setup process overall!

The parking lot is often difficult to maneuver; sometimes the rental trucks and trailers almost block the entrances to the storage unit area. This makes it hard to park close to load and unload.

Overall U-Haul storage facilities are great. Clean, secure and welll maintained. I never got the after hours code so I was not able to access the facility. I only need this once so not an issue.
