The only issue is that the windshield wiper on the driver's side did not make contact very well with the windshield so there was a large patch of icy coating right at eye level. It eventually cleared away with the defroster on high.SUSANK D.

I picked up my truck yesterday and paid cash intentionally as I cannot use the credit card that U haul kept on file without authorization from a rental last summer. went in person to make a reservation. got an email confirmation with contract details that do not match what was discussed. got an email saying that my reservation was cancelled even though i did not cancel it, turns out they somehow booked me twice. was told id get a call 24 hrs ahead as confirmation but never did. called in to confirm my reservation and found out the pickup time did not reflect what was discussed. showed up for truck pickup and credit card terminal malfunctions. requested km package was not on the contract. there was garbage in the truck, including a pack of cigarettes, so clearly no one has inspected it. paid 338$ at time of pickup but on return im getting another bill for 370$. you tell me. how was my perceived experience of this uhaul location?adrian A.

And last but not least, maybe find a facility that people can park at and have an option or leafing their vehicles while they pay hard earned money to rent your poorly kept vehicles that are far too often barely safe enough to be road worthy.Matthew I.

The instructions for fuel was not clear and when I spoke to the employee about how they could instruct people about the fuel instruction he was rude. Have your agent, as they're booking the reservation for the truck, remind, or point out to, the person renting the truck, that while a dolly and blankets are available in the back of the truck for a nominal fee, any rope for tying down the cargo must be supplied by the person renting the truck.HARRYLUTZ S.

Truck had a cracked convex mirror on the passenger side that the agents knew about. When I pointed it out to the agent he said "oh yeah we know about that" he then offered to place an "X" sticker on the mirror. This ended up pushing the piece of the mirror into the housing. When I returned it the I commented to the agent about the mirror and he said it would be fixed right away. Perhaps taking the truck out of service until the repair can be made would be the safest course of action.Dave P.

It would be nice to have one of your employees do a quick check over of the vehicle with the customer so both parties can be on the same page in regards to the condition of vehicle/equipment being rented. Check tires, check for scrapes/damage, ensure nothing has been tampered with (eg. Emergency kit in the cabin of the truck, make sure the dolly is still zipped, etc.). It wasn't a problem i had this time but I saw some the room for error where folks might think they've been overcharged for items they do not use.Anthony T.

Parking lot is crowded and difficult to manouver. We paid upon receipt of vehicle and were informed upon returning the vehicle that we didn't have to do anything else. 3 days later we received an email stating we were in arrears for money owing . $200 this 8hr 100km round trip cost. Ensure that equipment meets minimum safety standards. We left the site and started driving to Toronto and experienced a flat within the hour. When checked at u-haul depot located at Coburg which was also a Goodyear tire centre they replaced the tire and technician Logan found other left tire had low pressure of 16PSI. Two right tires were found to have dangerous PSI of 65 & 67 respectively. Our safety was compromised, we felt we were put in serious risk due to the extreme over / under inflation which should have been checked by attending staff at pick up.thomas W.

Just a little 'FYI', just in case there is another "rarely rent pick ups" out there - as we found out - you release the tailgate by hitting the "unlock" button on the key fob. The person that we spoke with to try to find this out did not know this little tidbit. Our local office person did!! YAY! This came after sitting on hold for 1/2 an hour with our initial call. When I was at the location everything was amazing. Wonderful staff and very clean place. I had trouble contacting the office. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered.
