This was a terrible experience, we had to drive back and forth a couple times because the guy kept assigning us units that weren't available. ALSO!! Our reservation was for a completely different UHAUL facility. The first facility didn't tell us that they don't accept the offer (that we already had a reservation for) until after they took all of my information. Long story short... Unbelievably poor service. Had to run back and forth between the main office and storage location (0.2 miles) multiple times. Unable to reach anyone on the phone. The previous manager Jason locked me out of my storage for 2 months when I was finally able to get in it I noticed I have several items that were missing. He was a horrible manager and a even worse as a person. The new manager was very helpful even though he could not get me into my storage. Storage was dirty and I had to get a broom to sweep it out myself but they expected it clean when I moved out. Also GM at the Kino sports UHAUL changed the entrance protocol to CARD use only No Pin without notifying me so I was locked out of my storage one weekend because when I went to ask why I couldn’t get in with my pin they were closed. Absolutely terrible experience. Waited in showroom for 15 minutes while two employees worked on a phone order. Neither acknowledged my presence. Reserved unit was unavailable. No explanation was given, no sorry for the inconvenience. Was told there were no unit at all until pressed about the second reservation. Was told they could not do the free month for renting a uhaul truck. Was told my lock was not acceptable for security reasons but they had no locks for sale. Bathroom dirty, no toilet paper on 03/12/21. Due to flooring company delaying my move for several weeks by bringing the wrong floor twice I couldn't move out until 03/13/21. I was paid up through 03/12/21. I went to office on 03/12/21 to ask for a little extension and even agreed to pay for another week. I had movers coming the next morning and was out by 11 am on the 13th. The clerk on the 12th was less than sympathetic, borderline rude and passive aggressive at which point I got mad too. My storage container was robbed and all of my belongings were stolen and none of the cameras inside of the building were running so there was nothing that I could do except take a hit and the staff at U-Haul including online and filing a claim or not helpful at all whatsoever. I was lied to. I was asked by Uhaul if I was aware that I qualify for 1 month free storage. When I got to the storage unit they said they can't give us the 1 month free storage. They couldn't honor it the gentleman said they are almost at full capacity. I was so upset and HAD to pay for the storage unit $144.29 I'm not from Tuscon as we just moved and I couldn't drive around to find a cheaper storage unit. I needed to get my truck unloaded and returned back. I will never ever rent from Uhaul again. Also when I first reserved the truck I had to drive almost 2 hours to Soda Springs, Idaho to get it. Plus the other trailer I reserved wasn't at the store in Pocatello so I just canceled that trailer. There was confusion of my purchases and rentals in Washington but the Manager, Jarrett, at the Kino Sports U-Haul office in Tucson, Washington was very helpful and accommodating. When I first rented it was a total mess. After completing all the paperwork I was still not in the system so could not access my unit. I called the emergency number and was greeted by a man's voice who instructed me to go back to the office and someone would be able to reset my card. I then returned to the office and was informed that there was nothing they could do and I was no where in their system. I would need to contact the manager in the morning. I was going out of town the following morning so that was not a possibility. I ended up paying for 3 additional nights at the motel I was staying at just to make sure my possessions were safe spending an additional $125.50. I tried unsuccessfully to contact someone to help me but all the time was informed that I needed to contact the manager. Finally this morning I was able to connect with Jarrett and he made everything perfect. I was able to get my items into storage and go about my day. I was very glad to choose this uhaul facility. It was very easy to get my stuff in. The elevator and the little carts were super nice to have which made my move easier into the facility. I liked how well lit it was. I liked how secure everything was. It was very seamless and my movers made it easier too. From my first experience up until now I have always had such great service. It's been 5 years since then and 10 plus storages unit and countless rental trucks! I had to go into the store a few times yesterday. The morning staff was wonderful. They were very helpful. Later when I returned to check out my equipment the staff member was a bit rude and not as helpful. When we moved our household goods into the storage facility approximately six weeks ago, there was very OBVIOUSLY a man literally living in a storage unit 3 doors down from unit 448. We had to keep watch on him the entire day of moving in for fear he would steal items during the move not yet IN the unit or OUT of the truck. I told the manager this and he assured me that they knew, were watching the security cameras, and had legal plans in motion to evict him. Well, six weeks later, I am having things moved out and who is there?!? The SAME friggin guy living in the same friggin unit! SIX WEEKS LATER! C'mon - this is an absolutely unacceptable safety and security risk! Good Lord! How are people supposed to feel safe and secure about their household goods with a dude LIVING three units down??? The lock on my storage unit was changed and I was not contacted of the lock being changed. The lock was cut off and when I was able to access the unit, the unit was empty. I paid rent beginning March 16 and was not offered reimbursement of my payments. Basically, I was paying for an empty storage unit. I had to purchase and replace the items that were stolen. Had a 630pm reseration. Called saying i was running late. Arrived at 640pm. You close at 7pm. Employee Outside with the door locked. Said he couldnt help me because your computer system "started acting wierd around closing". Exposed me to 2nd hand smoke. Entire facility reeked of cigarrettes and Lysol. Had to wait outside due to health issues. Call center where i made reservation was rude. Did not answer direct questions. Wanted a credit card on file before she would even tell me what she had available. Did not tell me about a 100 deposit due at pickup or mandatory insurance. Tried to sneak it into paperwork. Still has not refunded deposit. My advertised one way rental for 89 dollars in reality cost $270 plus fuel. No would not recommend uhaul. Rude. Lie to customers. Dont want to work. I returned my rental about an hour before location opened. When I returned the vehicle there was no clear signage as to where to park the truck. I parked it in a spot by the door. When I returned the vehicle it was in the same condition that i recieved it. Now while i am at work i get an email that an unknown person dropped off the vehicle and there is an accident that supposedly took place that left a hole in the roof close to the cab of the truck. There was no hole in the vehicle. There was no accident. Now I'm being charged over $400 for something that did not happen. I have one of the movers that helped me willing to state there was no accident and the truck was in the same condition it was rented to me. I will not be paying for something I did not do. I have used Ubayl for all my moves for over 20 years and have never had an accident nor returned the truck in any other condition than what it was given to me in.unfortunately if thia is not resolved and this charge removed from me I will never use uhaul again.Dawn B.

I left a note to management regarding your vehicle. The 10 ft rental was very poor. I believe it was in an accident. The drivers door is unsafe, your wipers did not work well (on monsoon season and we drove in the rain), your haul box is definitely damaged and makes too much noise, very unpleasant to hear that noise. And your transmission on that particular car seems bad. I will never rent there again. Also, I personally asked if when I returned my rental, should I leave the keys in the car and lock it, to which I was told "yes" twice. I couldnt believe we had a call at 6:50 in the AM on a Saturday to question why the keys were inside. Your office told me it would be my responsibility to pay a locksmith. Word of advice: get yourself copies of the keys for all the vechiles and keep them in a safe place. You are a rental place. My husband had to go get your door open. Have you ever thought of having a slim jim at your office? I'd gladly speak to any manager wanting a copy of the video I took of everything I just stated. I am civilized... The main problem was the woman on site. She was not happy about having to inspect the truck and was not pleasant. With a different person in charge maybe the experience would be okay.Linda T.

Poor customer service. Got woken up early on a Sunday morning because an incompetent worker could not find the keys when it was in there drop mailbox all along. Also they will hit you with other charges.FERNANDA S.
