The man working at the counter was one of the best with patience of customer service I've ever seen, and I deal with customers daily in my job. When there was 6 people in line and he was calm as could be and just got things done. Just so you know how good of an employee you have there and how well you should take care of him because employees like that don't come around every day. Huge asset to your business.

The only issue would be with the volume of availability. Around this time of year you have college students getting out and leases ending and at this location they weren't able to rent one longer than 12 hours. I picked this location as they had been helpful in the past but even calling over a month in advance we couldn't get one for at least 24 hrs.

I felt bad for the guy working rentals inside. The line was long. More office help needed. The guy who attached our hitch (Logan class of 2011) was super nice and very helpful.

I rented a 5'x9' trailer to relocate my riding mower. The trailer pulled good both empty and loaded. There were plenty of tie down rings. The drive on tailgate was essential.

The gentleman who (eventually) helped me was friendly, knowledgable, and did what he could in a timely way. However, as has happened in the past, he was the only person there to help people. I waited with others for more than 20 minutes in the empty storefront area because he was solving a problem outside. This has happened before when I've been there (different employees). I got the truck I rented on time because I had shown up 25 minutes early. Whoever is in charge of scheduling needs to pay closer attention and plan/hire accordingly. There are times when people are coming in to pick up or drop off things, or simply come in to buy things and are left waiting for long periods of time. It's terrible for customers, and it's unfair for the employee(s) who then must bear the brunt of any angry/frustrated/anxious customers.

Staff not paying attention. At return, the sign says to wait with equipment in the drive through lane, but staff had a personal vehicle parked there. After ten minutes, I walked inside and found them having a personal conversation.

The worker never said hi or introduced himself he just walked out and put his hand out for the keys. I explained to him that the truck was almost empty when I got it and I left a half tank. I also explained how I was told I had until the end of the day to drop it off and he never said anything. He never explained that I was getting charged a late fee. I thought I had until the end of the day and didn’t know I got charged a late fee until I got a notification my card got charged.

This location was short-handed when I first went in. There was just one employee dealing with phone calls, a line of people waiting for customer service, and helping customers maneuver rentals. The wait was long so I left and came back another day when they were less busy. The employee seemed to be working as quickly as possible both days.

Truck had check engine light on when picked up which I was told was related to an O2 sensor. Not told about it until about to jump into drivers seat. Although assured it SHOULD not affect performance, considering we were driving across the state it was stressful not knowing if something might go wrong. Made it across ok but curious how it affected mileage. I’d suggest trucks awaiting o2 sensor repairs be limited to local moves or ideally pulled out of service as an incentive to repair promptly. Also, rect showed 12 furniture pads provided - we only had 5 or 6.

Gage is a great guy running the place and is always working hard whenever I've been there. But, and i have to blame this more on the city's poor control of homeless i no longer felt safe have my things there. The place is no fenced and gated all the way around anymore and i have chased out people that were staying inside what is supposed to be interior secured storage. The price went up too high also making me look for another place which i found on the south end of town. 5ft longer and higher, fully gated at off hours and fenced with barbwire top. $49 less expensive. Again, nothing negative to say about Gage, just a reality as to price and real security.

No complaints, other than the fact that we filled up 7 gallons of gas after driving 31 miles. Feels a little unfair to us as 7 gallons is over $30 these days. Please make sure they’re actually filled up before handing them to the next customer :) thank you!!

The location is poorly staffed leading to long wait times. When I returned on Sunday night the location was closed early causing me to use the app to return which is a slow and cumbersome process. The new method you now use to attach the trailer to the tow vehicle makes the trailer a loose fit until there is weight which is very hard on receivers. Not a fan.

Each time we went in there thee employee that was working was by himself. Went went it at 9 am on Saturday and again later that day around 5. Each time there was a line in the store of 6 to 10 people who all had reservations that ended up being late.

There was access code box for building B and it wasn't obvious to me that I needed to use the main access code box on building A to get into storage unit in building B. Someone else was unloading after hours and did help me out. Really appreciated the rental.space.

Gage and Nate were both so helpful. They work so hard and go above and beyond for U-hauls customers. They both need a raise for being excellent employees of Uhaul. This was my 2nd unit and I was able to do everything online and add my daughter to take care of the move in person. It was awesome!!

We had reserved the unit ahead of time but when it came time to move in were told since we didn't pay in advance, the unit wasn't available. Instead we were given the last, smallest unit in back that was dirty with a bad door amd mousetraps inside. On check-in day, I had to wait in line an hour and 45 mins for 1 attendant to serve 11 ppl ahead of me to re-check in everything I had done online. Were told we could access unit until 10 pm but office was closed so couldn't access unit. Will not be back.

I would like to sincerely apologize to the GM Shelly at UHAUL in Lacrosse WI. I am still very interested in working with her on an agreement to receive my items from a different storage unit that I rented. I would love to negotiate a price to resolve this matter. The circumstances that lead to our issues with keeping up with the payments involved the tragic losses of three of our beloved girls, and their triple murders. We also have been traveling to Rochester for the criminal court process often. Sometimes, we needed to stay in the city for days depending on the court proceedings. There are precious items that belonged to my 23 yr old pregnant daughter Keona, and her adorable 23 month old baby girl Miyona, my granddaughter who was a blessing, and everything to her loving mom. They both were sadly murdered alongside each other in Rochester, M.N. Again, I am strongly interested in resolving this matter. Shelly, please give me a call at (608) 518-0461. So our unit 117 was next to a unit that the garage door had been damaged and completely opened to the outdoor environment. Not knowing any better first time storage unit renters, we still agreed to renting the unit. Only later did we realize that our belongings were being exposed to the outdoor environment because the unit next to us was completely exposed. I would definitely not recommend renting 117 out till you fix the door next to it. We were extremely concerned about our belongings and that is why we relocated to another storage unit company.

The guy who helped me was fantastic. I wish I caught his name (guy with the beard). He was all alone on a Sunday moving day in a college town having to deal with many customers and was able to give high quality service to each customer. It was not his fault there is only one person working at a Uhaul in such a large city. I feel badly that Uhaul does not treat their employees well or pay them enough.

It’s crammed with too much stuff. No place to park to load or unload as ALL the spaces in front of the storage space doors for walk-in storage are taken up by U-haul trucks or those boxes you take to leave on site somewhere. It’s crowded and difficult to even get a car to move in there to get to the storage. It’s a sh** show there to say the least. They are understaffed usually only two people there if you're lucky. This would be the last place I’d look and only if there was nothing else open.

The login system frequently misfunctioned by not recognizing my PIN number. I gave up on punching in after a few times. There were vehicles parked in the alley that created a very narrow space that I had to drive through. My mirror brushed up against the storage facility and was scratched.

September 25, 2022 I went in around 4pm to put things in my storage after making sure my storage was paid as there was some sort of hiccup. There was a lock still on my locker as shouldn't have been and the employee that was inside was sleeping I walked around the building and asked the guy that was pressure washing to help me which he did. My thought was this didn't make me feel safe or secure for my items in storage.

This is a facility that is more concerned about just making money than investing in their own facility to provide quality services. Every winter, ice piles up next to the doors (on the shady sides) in such a way that you cannot even access your storage unit. Their excuss? "We contract snow removal, sorry", But don't they walk the grounds and ensure proper upkeep by their contractors? NO! They don't take responsibility at all. They just wait for you to complain. And In the spring when the snow melts, it damages the doors and causes gaps that allow rodents inside. With this, rodents have access to the INDOOR storage units as well since they are located on the opposite side of the outdoor units. This whole facility needs a major investment in door repair, drainage, and proper snow/ice removal to be an upstanding storage facility. Right now it's just a roof over your stuff. And good luck getting access to it because they park Uhaul trucks all around the facility in such a way it's very difficult to even access your things. And try to get resolve? Good luck, they will just tell you to call corporate or file an insurance claim. So for those of you desperate storage seekers - If you don't mind mouse poop all over your stuff, and if you like the challenge of accessing your belongings through trucks, ice, and snow, and if you enjoy paying premium prices for VERY poor customer service, this is the place for you! If not, seek out other areas and RUN from this place!!! Very unethically managed to say the least. There is like, one worker there that was helpful and nice. Jerome or Jeremy maybe? IDK but he was the young black man that checked me out when I moved all my stuff out 9/18. Everyone else I dealt with could care less.

I also received a bill after I had moved out, even though I was paid up and informed UHaul prior of my move-out date They did not stop billing after I moved out. I used two climate controlled storage units for three years, being out of state for most of that time and always felt very confident that they were protecting my valuables. Now that I have my own space here in Wisconsin, I no longer need these storage units, but my goods were in the same condition as when I for packed the units three years ago. I highly recommend them to anyone else who needs secure, convenient, yet affordable climate controlled storage. Thank you, U-Haul! Mission accomplished!

We are in the process of moving to the La Crosse area, and have been in this store multiple times over the past several weeks to purchase moving supplies, reserve a truck, and rent storage space. Every staff member we have met has been extremely friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

This is my second storage unit rental at this location. The only complaint I had is the first unit I still have was very icy on the day I needed access and I slipped a few times. Staff came out and salted when I let them know. Also, the slide lock is troublesome to slide. The 2nd unit I rented yesterday had a much easier slide lock. Door rolled up and down more smoothly as well at the second unit. It must be newer. Overall, I can highly recommend this Uhaul location!
