Staff was unsure about their answers to several of my questions and I couldn’t do cash due to time restraints for cash pick up. My transaction was interrupted several times by the employee attending to other customers, which led to input mistakes where I had to provide my information more than once. Truck ran a little rough in front. Truck had damage of the front passenger fender and scrape marks on the driver side top back of truck. Did not notice this damage until getting ready to load truck. We notify U-Haul and they were aware of the damage on this particular truck.Tony G.

I appreciated the ease of renting my storage unit online with immediate access to my unit. The Lexington Park facility is clean and secure. My items were maintained in perfect condition for the two years I rented my unit. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My only problem was that after reserving my unit online, the second day, the guy could not find it. This held us up some. The manager worked with me the night before and all I needed to do was make the payment and buy the lock. The next day, the guy could not find my reservation. They lie and put the wrong fuel amount on paperwork, then they get to charge you the fueling fees. We didn't drive very far so there couldn't have been that much fuel used. We replaced the gas that was used. And nobody said anything about checking the fuel before signing. That was not given as an option. I will never use uhaul again.Landres F.

Bit of an inconvenience not being able to return the truck AND trailer at Prince Frederick or Lusby. I had to travel 24-30 minutes to Lexington Park to return my rentals when I was 10 minutes from the Prince Frederick location and literally 3 minutes from my destination and the Lusby office. That being said, the drop off was smooth and the young girl accepting the return was very nice and professional.Michaele C.

Originally, I reserved a 5x7, On the day I went to move in, U haul had rented out my unit. The manager said he was trying to keep his numbers up. We all know what that means.So being in the Storage and rental business I figured,I should get a discount for the next higher up unit available. This did not happen. So, I called corporate and they said they would do something for me. In which this did not happen. My only quibble is that 5’x5’ lockers are not exactly those dimensions. I wanted to store a 4’10” wide item and it was too wide -the door couldn’t close. I had to rent a 5’x10’ space (at double the cost).Amelia v. | Overall Experience

This is a wonderful storage facility with most of the workers with great customer service. What I do recommend, that a better is job is done with cleaning the inside window seals (full of bugs, spider webs, etc.) so a person will feel more secure in leaning their items up against the walls before placing them in a storage unit. Also, provide wipes to be able to wipe down the carts used to carry your items to and from the storage to the car. I made a reservation for a 10x10 unit and one wasn't available when I arrived. I had to either up+size to a 10x15 at a higher rate or downsize to an 8x10 at a slightly lower rate. Turns out the 8x10 was too small whereas a 10x10 would have been just right and a 10x15 ridiculously over sized at a premium cost. I feel like it was bait and switch. Karl Curry (manager) and the team he assembled at the Lexington Park/Signature Drive location have to be the "best in the biz," as they say. The staff went above-and-beyond to make my U-Haul experience excellent in every way. From working with me on the front end to find U-Boxes and trailers, to pulling them out of storage at the end and placing them in a convenient location so the professional movers could pack my belongings in crates for an overseas move, to checking on us throughout to make sure everything was satisfactory... this is the standard by which every other moving/storage facility should be measured.
