My initial experience picking up the truck was great; the young man was very friendly, and quick. But the truck did not start for almost 20 Minutes on the day I had to move things, the door gate got stuck and would not open a few times, and then apparently opened en route to delivery, causing me to lose 2 tables I borrowed from a church that I now have to pay to replace. I told the guy that came out during my return, even showed him the video of the the problem with starting... he couldn’t have cared less and even charged me more for going over mileage. He could have AT MINIMUM not charges me additionally, and apologized for the inconvenience, he said and did NOTHING!!!

We had problems with our original pickup reservation. The website had given me the okay to pickup at 8:30 using the 24/7 truck pickup, however once we were onsite the reservation had changed the time and said we had to wait until 9:30. We called customer service and ended up on the phone for half an hour. The customer service rep told us there were no vehicles available at the first location so we’d get the $50 reservation guarantee applied to our truck rental at the different pickup location, however when we were there to pickup the truck we were told by the person behind the counter that she couldn’t do it, but her manager could when we returned the vehicle. When we did return the vehicle, we were once again told “oh sorry, you’ll have to call the regional manager to try and get the $50 applied to your order”. So somehow it became our issue to hunt down and find the $50 reservation guarantee I was promised on the phone. Overall, I will definitely reconsider before using Uhaul again as our whole day did not go smoothly and ended up costing us more money since we had to travel to a location farther away.

Straps on tow doll was worn out and should have been replaced.It was difficult to tread thru ratcheting handle due to ends being severly frayed.No one came outside to check out the equipment to make sure everything was ok with the equipment for rental.

Make a sign saying “NO UNITS AVAILABLE RESERVED UNITS ONLY “ Then I don’t need to wait 30 minutes to get the message. Sorry we don’t have anything left.

I will never recommend my friends/ family to uhaul @ 1440 Edgar road because on numerous occasions i reported my items in my unit was damaged from the rain. The issues was never repaired.

It was the worst experience ever. I reserved online and when I got to the store these 2 very unprofessional employees told me that they overlap my reservation and they didn’t have anything.

Please fix or update the computer system at the store as it delayed customers' reservations to get processed. It happened to a custumet who reserved a moving truck. It took about 30 mns to get service
