Car was dirty and ran down. Staff is nice but I find uhaul to be too expensive for anything above 10 miles. It is totally unreasonable to charge $2 per mile. It's much more worth it to outsource shipping.

Tried to dimply fins out if this location or any other local rental centers had a specific trailer in stok. This tool three phone calls and about an hour of my time. UHaul apparently does not allow the customer to talk to the local branches. Not sure why, as I could have saved an hour of my time and an hour of the UHaul staff's time. Yes, I am aware that dealers network, trailers are not always returned on time, customers pick up the trailer that was in stock the previous day, etc. I just wish I could call the preferred location and simply ask; "Is there a xyz trailer in stock?" "Yes... I'll be there in twenty minutes, please reserve it for me."

I had to fill up the tank because the gauge doesn’t work correctly. It took too long to move so instead of three quarters I had to fiil it up

The lights on the trailer didn't work, there was no mechanic available for at least 48 hours to help with the problem, I fixed them as best I could on my own, I drove 800 miles with EITHER tail lights OR brake lights / turn signals, not both at the same time - indicator lights during daylight; tail lights at night. Nerve racking

I was originally told that it would have the truck I rent for up to 24 hours that the representative would put 6 hours but only to call if I need more time no charge. I called to get additional time and was told that I would have to pay up to $250 for additional hours and that it was an “inconvenience fee.” Last time I rent here. Truck engine had issues sounding like it was struggling The Whole time.

You can improve by hiring more people ro be at that location. The location time states 7am to 7pm. I arrived at 8:30am and had to wait outside until 9:17am, for someone to come open the door. The location was closed. There were at least 7 different people who came and just left because it was closed.

The van sharing was not a good experience and I would not do it again. The "chat" required to get off the lot was as long as if not longer than other ways you offer. Pictures of the license -both sides- and a selfie all needing to be verified while standing wondering if the person on the other end of the chat is working on multiple customers. Love this location but you can keep your sharing process.

I am very upset at the service this time. I have used uhaul for years and this time has been my worst experience. First I reserved my truck online a 17 ft truck for 1 one way. I received a call the next day to say that the location that I selected was not available. I had to drive 10 minutes away to another location which was not the issue. When I went to the new location the said that they do not rent 17ft trucks one way that I would need to find a bigger truck than a 17ft truck. I was given the customer service line number and had to call from the location I was at to find another truck but they could not find a bigger truck due to it was a Saturday. The truck drove very poorly. I had a 80 mile drive 1 one. Since I had to get a smaller truck I had to make 2 trips which made me use the extra 40 cents a mile. Then I called the location for the drop off for 4 hrs and could not reach anyone there because the mailbox was full and no one answered the phone. I needed to know if and where I could drop off the key for overnight drop off so i did not get charged for 2 days. So a 1 hour trip took us 6 hrs in bad weather with a truck that could not go past 55 miles an hr on a major highway of 65 miles an hr. I finally called the location that I picked up the truck and they found out that there was a night drop off but I had to search for it. I finally found the drop box at 11pm which was attached to a laundry mat. I returned the key and the paper work into the box. The next day I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged for an extra day. I called the main customer service number because once again I could not get thru to the drop off location or leave a message because the mailbox was full. I was told that even tho I put the key into the box I did not go online and return the truck. I was never told that I was suppose to do that. So I was charged an extra day that I did not use the truck had to pay extra miles because I had to make 2 trips because the online service did not explain nor did the location that I picked the truck off at that I could not go one way with a 17ft truck. I am deeply irritated and feel that I will not use uhal again nor will I tell someone to use the service. I have to wait a week for someone to call me back for my refund for the extra day which I find inexcusable. There needs to be better communication to the customer both online and at the locations. Moving is not an easy experience nor is it cheap.

i ordered a 10' truck - was told it was not available even though there were 10 10' foot trukcs in the parking lot which apparently couldn't go one way - when moving in the NYC area a small truck is preferred bc of tolls, parking, parkways etc. if you have available equipment rent it out - the office attendant could have easily swapped out one of the 'local only' trucks for mine that wasn't returned on time (bc how is this now my problem???) - ridiculous. lack of customer service and ability to empower oneself to make decisions to benefit the customer. UHaul customer service is only good when making the reservation - after that forget it. it's really sad this is how you treat customers. also put ezpass in the trucks. and gps.
