I felt really bad. There were only two girls on and they did an amazing job. Very professional and did an excellent job. My original truck had some kind of issue and the new truck had snow on it. They were so busy and said she could send someone out to help but it might be a while. I didn't have far to go and I took my chances. I made it. I say these two girls deserve a raise. I would go to them again just for their professional attitudes.

The battery was dead in the truck at pickup. Although the employer was quick to jump start, it died again during our move. We spent hours waiting for Mike's Auto to come and repair. He had difficulty with repair and needed assistance of two of us to help him fix. Additionally I asked specifically if there were additional.charges to returning truck at 830 pm as they would be closed. I was told there would be ko additional fees and I was charged $20. The employees were very kind but I am disappointed that the trucks aren't maintained and there are hiddn3 fees.

Excellent customer service rented 2 items one day picked up one when finished returned and picked up other.

The truck reaked of cigarette smoke, and a hint of pot. Nit the employees fault, and the truck was physically clean, but whoever rents the truck should be warned or offered something else. I smelled like smoke after sitting in the truck, and my asthma and allergies were acting up.

Clarify the calculation of rental charge when it is not what it advertised. The system changes from the $19.95/day to $79.95 at 1 mile over 100 miles. Customers should be informed about this during rental times not after rental is returned.

It took an hour to get the trailer that I had reserved. A U-Haul employee attached it to my vehicle and once on the highway it came off!!! The state police said it wasn't attached properly and helped me to properly attach it. Got it home and opened the back. It was full of dirt branches and leaves. Had to clean it out. Loaded to half full and drove less than 2 miles before I had to pull over. The trailer was making a load grinding sound. Had to have my daughter rent a truck to come and get our belongings out of it. No discount for truck rental and they charged me for the cargo rental. It damaged my truck when it came off and hit the back of my truck on the highway when I pulled over. The insurance I pitched on the trailer does NOT cover auto damage done by trailer. The store manager had an employee call me to find out what happened and never called herself as promised by the employee. I will never use U-HAUL again. It cost me a fortune to waste a day loading and having to reload the trailer and now I have vehicle damage that I have to pay for myself. I made many calls to their call center and was reassured that I would be taken care of. Never happened

Could use more employees to process the pick up and drop off process. Frustrating that I am on hold with customer services for over 20 minutes. I work in areas where that cell service is horrible, that I can not contact Uhaul on line to reserve a rental. It does effect my business. The new manager is wonderful and helping in so many areas. Thank you

1/2/2021 First I want to commend Jessica, your Agent at the Manchester, CT, Oakland St. Office! For rental 12/30/20 to 1/1/21 I had some questions and concerns about the final billing, and she was extremely Courteous, Patient and just very Professional in explaining the breakdown of the charges. Overall, the check in and out was simple and seamless. Also, the store Mgr., Matty (Maddy?), had waived a small service fee for us, for an error on misreading a small portion of the gas refill on our part. We ended up needing an extension, because the new landlord miscalculated the time he needed to complete a renovation. I have 2 feedback comments that I believe should be corrected about that change. 1. My phone call itself to the call-in center for my Truck Rental extension was easy to complete. The UHaul Agent quoted that it would be an additional $40.,which was expected. However, when I received the final Invoice after returning the truck, I discovered that I was also charged another day of Safemove and Dolly and Pads rentals That was NOT mentioned at time of extension request, and it seems odd to be charged double, since it was still the same truck and supplies. I did not read where these are PER DAY fees. It seems that the charges should go with the Truck Rental, as a 1 time per truck fee. Nevertheless, I feel that this information should have been disclosed verbally at the time of extension agreement. 2. My 2nd comment relates to your Website, where one can request a quote for equipment rental. I did this several times, until my exact Dates and Times were narrowed down, and EACH time, The Quotes seemed too high. When I looked it over to re-check, I found that Supplies had been presented PRE- CHECKED for amounts. For example, I only wanted 6 pads, but a quantity of 3 DOZEN was pre-checked, and computed into my QUOTE! Same for a Dolly. This happened twice, before I caught on and corrected it myself the 3rd Time. So if This is a "Glitch" in your system, it should difinitely be corrected because it causes the Quotes to come out HIGH! Thank you.

When I returned the vehicle I showed the girl that the tank was a quarter empty and the brought it back the same way. She said okay she'll take care of it and she must of forgot and charge me for that gas anyway.

I did not use the truck as my furniture order was not available for pick up. I put $5 worth gas just to bring the fuel level where it was. But the return attendant asked me to put more gas although I did not drive more than one mile from the location and back.

Try not parking the vehicle in an obscure fashion. My rental was buried and parked tightly between two bigger trucks. Even with my experience with a Class B, it was a challenge.

Online checkin was not accomplished as the key was not in the locker rather hanging on a hook in the office and so had to checkin the store with sales rep so why make customers go through all the tedious online documentation it was a waste of my time and not at all convenient

I got the vehicle with the gas of 3/8 level but i have given back to vehicle that i filled the gas with capacity of 1/2 level as I did not get any advice or help from the customer care for that how much of gas need to put to fill and bring into the same level of when i was getting. Even, I didnt get the adjustment or cash back when i check with the agent.

The contactless checkin has some kinks to be worked out, from the corporate side. If you need 3 names to verify identify say so from the start. The staff at this branch were super helpful and friendly and helped me get into a truck after online checkin issues that were beyond their control. I recommend booking online but checking in in person to avoid any hassle.

The $20.00 fee for afterhours should not be charged. I was there approx. 1/2 hour doing my best with your return policy with on-line with out success after a hard-long day. I went on-line to conform to your rules and nowhere could I locate where to put the U-Haul verification Code: At least ( 5 ) different codes I tried using; 686127 068648 816752 405052 720880. Your method of having customers remember & or write down the numbers is hard enough let alone where to apply them. Sorry, I have used your services before, and this newer method is ridiculous to me. Please don't charge me that extra $20.00 Sincerely, Thank you

I was told to return truck with full tank of gas. However, apparently when I picked up the truck the tank was not full. I put in 8.567 gallons of gas costing $17.64, WAY TOO MUCH for only traveling 31.4 miles in total. Should receive some compensation for this overpayment!!

I was unable to return the vehicle using my phone - I have a Samsung Galaxy, and it kept saying another program (Samsung ...) is attempting to overlay the display and would not allow me to continue. My wife has a similar phone which worked fine. This has happened to me both times I have returned a truck in the past.

Have vehicles ready for pick up and all features are on the vehicle are operational. Low beam on headlights were very dim, had to use high beams for travel. Adapter did not work. Could not use my GPS or recharge my cell phone.

Anthony very knowledgeable, multitask employee. Although Anthony is only one staff member who I feel is a valuable team member there were two females who really needs to be retrain on customer interaction, Swearing and voicing there opinion in front of other including myself.

Waited for at least 10 min or so. One person working in the front, finally another person comes to help but he's not familiar with the process so had to end up waiting for the other lady anyways to help. So instead of something that should of been 5 or less minutes since I already had a reservation took almost 20 minutes. But staff are nice and helpful.

Lighting in front of building was poor. Led to believe 24 hour access was available when keycards were given. Unable to reach staff after hours. Happy $ was reimbursed for hotel after not getting in.
