Our location got changed the day before our truck pick up and we were never informed. so after wasting an hour trying to figure out what was going on...we were told to go to the E Broadway location. Our initial pick up time was supposed to be 8. I called the uhaul number and Kevin helped and was very friendly. He was also confused why no one called me or emailed me to let me know about the location changed. So he told me to go to the W Broadway location for a 9am pickup. The store door said it was open at 9, and we got there at 9:03. Doors locked and no one in sight. We tried calling the general managers number on the door and no answer. The worker finally showed up at 9:12. Kevin gave us a $50 credit but I honestly wish more would have been done. We went from 8am pickup to getting our truck at 9:30. Everyone was frustrated waiting around at our storage unit while we were trying to figure out what was going on.Michael C.

I allowed the U-Haul employee to hook up my car on the dolly. He hooked it up improperly resulting in damage to my vehicle. When I claimed the damages U-Haul said it was my fault I didn't tighten the straps. Fuck you U-Haul.Michael M.

Definitely disappointed in U-Haul. Got a truck to move when I got to my destination the truck wouldn't start back up. My neighbor who is a mechanic tried jumping it and it wouldn't jump; he believes it was the starter. Called U-Haul and The associate asked me â€œif I had turned the key all the way...?â€ He then proceeded to tell me that nothing should be wrong with the truck as it had just been serviced, and that they would refund my miles but still charge me for renting the truck. He then gave me the number to cooperate so I could get this thing out of my yard and the NEVER came. They didn't come till the next day late afternoon. This could have been a very dangerous situation for me if it wasn't for my neighbors as me and my boyfriends phone were dying and would have been stranded till that next day. To top it off they aren't even planning on giving me a refund. I'm calling corporate tomorrow but U-Haul is so difficult to get ahold of I doubt I will be reimbursed for anything, including being a storage space for their truck for a day ðŸ¤·ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸. Not a good company I will never use them again. Update: thanks to leaving reviews and only getting through to talk to anyone over Facebook I was able to get all of my money back.Marissa P.

Waited 15 minutes under the Equipment Return Canopy. No one came out. Went inside and waited another 10 minutes for the one person that was working at this location. I wonder why there were no other customers there?john D.

The truck was dirty when I picked it up. The windshield was completely covered with bugs and dirt, I had to clean before using so I could see clearly. The truck itself had the worst suspension I've ever rented from U-Haul, very uncomfortable ride, it should be taken out of service for repair.Thomas D.

I think you should offer a points program or a discount to loyal customers. I have used uhaul a lot in the last month and the general manager knows my last name already and recognizes me and my boyfriend when we come in. We use the one on east Broadway in Toledo OhDanielle K.
Let me tell you about the worst experience I've ever had at the east Toledo uhaul. I love uhaul I use it for my business all the time I've never had 1 issue with uhaul but this was my worst experience at East Toledo Uhaul on Broadway. Customer service was absolutely horrible. I was harassed and threatened by employees. I was treated wrong by both employees and the general manager. I didn't feel safe and comfortable to drop the vehicle back off so I tried to drop it off at another location and I was told I would be charged. I was over charged because of mistakes on the uhaul team. I was told by an employee that the general manager does not like me without even meeting with me. I will never go to this location againSeantez D.

I had a ton of issues with trying to rent a truck, even though I got a confirmation they booked me at a store that was closed and the next morning we had to call to get another truck that one we were unable to get from the mobile app to work and had to call again to get yet a third reservation. We were told we would get a $50 credit and never received it. It was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE in what was already a crazy time. The next week I rented a trailer and again got a confirmation for the requested location, then they wanted me to go to a location when I received the email that was out of the way for us and had to call again to get a different trailer from the location I requested in the first place and was told it was booked at. I was happy with the service at that location, but the overall experience was not a pleasant one at all!! I believe there should be a $50 confirmation credit for each awful experience as the website advertises!Jessica Y.

The truck was not full on fuel. The guy at the uhaul company did not put the right miles down for the starting mileage. Cause I did a trip miles before I left. When I said something about it he laughed. And the final thing is theres a sign on the door only 3 people in the building at once. When I got there there was at least 8 people in the building.I will not go to that location again,nor will i recommend it either!!Dan C.
