I originally requested a different rental location pick up but was called the day before pick up and told the location had switched to this E Broadway location.John Y.
I was very upset, not really with this location, but the overall bill the company gave me after I used their truck. I was promised a .40 cents per mile rate and when I returned the truck they charged me 1.04 per mile rate. That almost tripled the amount I was quoted when I set up the reservation. When I tried to get it corrected they say they cannot do it and transfer me to someone else. Then I have to start over and explain the whole arrangement again. I do not have hours of time to do this!! That is criminal!!Joseph S.

I asked for 30 miles. I did not use the 30 miles, but instead got charged for gas and that was 35 dollars. I know I should have had a refund for my miles not used. Then the gas tank was between 1/2 and 1/4. I didn't use that much gas but got charged for 7 gallons. Boy oh boy.cindy S.

The only thing is when you have a time to pick up your truck should not have to wait 30 minutes for someone to be there. Other people in store also. I know help is hard but if you make reservation they should be there and if a problem leave a note to say there may be a delay.Beverly F.

I have yet to hear from anyone from this location. I was billed for some sort of a safe thing, after telling them, that I have State Farm Insurance, and do not need any additional anything. I have spoken to Customer Service to No avail. This needs to be adjusted. I was also under the impression, that you billed for mileage over 50. This Truck was So Sticky, I had to mop it 3 times, and it still could have been again. I have never had this type of experience with U-Haul in the past. I was credited 21.00 for having to clean the inside of the trailer, before I could put anything in it. I was told that someone would be in contact with me. No one from U-Haul has called me.patricia S.

I rented a truck for three days locally and took good care of the truck. I refilled the gas to previous mark and returned the truck cleaned. Later I noticed on my bill I was unnecessary charged for 6 gallon of gas totalling $26.10 and oil & tire repairs for $13.00. I had respect for this business but they are nothing but scam.ers. I will never recommend this location nor will I ever use them again.Douglas C.
I would recommend this location to someone if they were moving, but I would not recommend the storage area. Only because the staff is phenomenal, best customer service out of the gentlemen there. Getting a truck was super easy as was return. But the storage unit is ridiculous. Prices are constantly going up. I paid more for my storage unit of 16 years than I did for full coverage car insurance and renters insurance combined. Not to mention the water damage my unit received and the amount of stuff that I lost is unimaginable.MARK S.

Tracy, the manager, was terrific. The first truck had a check engine light on and the driver's seat was broken and couldn't be adjusted. He got us a new truck.. Tracy Brown at the 855 E Broadway, Toledo location was terrific. He was very helpful & professional. My only issue with this rental was a last minute change in pick up location which I was not aware of. My reservation was for the location at 2699 N Reynolds Rd, Toledo OH but when I arrived I was told I was at the wrong location by a very rude women. There was no indication my reservation was changed which was most inconvenient. With such poor customer relations, I will never book a rental from that location again!Stephen M.

I ordered my truck at the Washington st address toledo ohio and the Previous driver that had the truck that should've been back at 3:30 was not back and didn't have the truck there for me to pick up at four like it was supposed to be they then took an hour to find me a different truck I had a different location which was this one off of Woodville and I asked for a manager discount and for the inconvenience and your U-Haul promise of right location right equipment right on time if not I guarantee you $50 then I want that guarantee as well so I expect the discount and the U-Haul guarantee for having to do all the hassle and on top of that my order got changed to 1 o'clock pick up time and the lady on the phone told me that was OK and then I got a call the same day saying my original pick up date used to be at four in my truck will not be there till four and then even when I showed up at four the truck still wasn't there.Caitlin S.

I arranged in advance to pick my truck up from the location closest to my house. 1 hour before I was scheduled to pick up the truck, I got a call saying I needed to get my truck earlier than planned and from this farther location. At this location when I have my desired drop off location (Middleburg heights, OH) I was told I would be able to drop the truck off T any location. When I arrived at the Middleburg heights location I was not permitted to drop off the truck.Brian R.

the trailer had a broken tie down hook i rented it to move motorcycle. already had it loaded when i saw it went back to store and they said had to replace the trailer. i had to drive across town to a different store unload the bike switch trailers reload bike that cost me a day delay in getting loaded and on the road not to mention all the inconvenience just for one metal ring ( dont know why it could not just been replaced on the spot ) had people ready to help me and had to reschedule with them. just does not make sense. not happyDONALD H.
